Everyone ignored Da Tian Ting.

‘Duan Hua, take Ming Sheng to the hospital,’ Lam Shu Pan said.

‘Aunty Lam, it’s not a serious injury,’ Da Ming Sheng said. ‘My arm will heal. I don’t need to go to the hospital. Aunty Lam, uncle Shang, don’t blame big sister.’

Shang Ming and Lam Shu Pan thought Da Ming Sheng was a forgiving person, and their impression of her changed.

‘Is it wrong of me to express how I feel?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

Da Tian Ting thought most people in her shoes would do the same. There was nothing wrong with expressing how she felt about being betrayed and lied to for ten years.

‘There is nothing wrong with expressing how you feel,’ Shang Duan Hua. ‘But you shouldn’t pour hot water on Ming Sheng’s arm. It makes me hate you more.’

Shang Duan Hua’s bit of guilt toward Da Tian Ting disappeared. He thought Da Tian Ting was only a country b.u.mpkin. He didn’t expect her to be a vindictive woman.

‘When did I pour hot water on Ming Sheng’s arm?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘Tian Ting, stop lying,’ Lam Shu Pan said. ‘Everyone in the kitchen witnessed you pouring hot water on Ming Sheng’s arm. We can understand why you took revenge on Ming Sheng. But we hope that you won’t do something like this again.’

Da Tian Ting turned around to look at an a.s.sistant.

‘Aunty, is it true everyone saw me pour hot water on Ming Sheng’s arm?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘Can aunty honestly say you saw me pour hot water on Ming Sheng’s arm?’

‘Miss Tian Ting, we all heard you scold Miss Ming Sheng in the kitchen and saw the pot of hot water in your hands,’ the a.s.sistant said.

Da Tian Ting cried in her heart, and appeared calm on the outside.

‘Uncle Lam, do you believe I would do something like this?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘Tian Ting, it’s not that uncle doesn’t want to believe you,’ Shang Ming said. ‘But how can uncle believe you if everyone witnessed you pour hot water on Ming Sheng’s arm.’

‘In everyone’s eyes, am I someone vindictive?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

Da Tian Ting understood why Da Ming Sheng burned her own arm. Da Ming Sheng wanted everyone to turn against Da Tian Ting. What made Da Tian Ting sad and disappointed was that everyone was easily fooled by Da Ming Sheng.
