The doctor told him earlier the results of his mother's check up.

Brain Cancer and and evil one.

His mother Anna Greyshaw was currently in coma.

Michael knew from the first moment that he was adopted.

He reincarnated into this world and didn't put his adoptive parents into heart but, Anna Greyshaw managed to make him cherish her. He had an awkward relationship with his father Richard Greyshaw, Richard distanced himself from Michael and didn't show him the same care as Anna.

He was pulled back to reality when his phone rang, it was James calling him and he picked up, "Yes?"

"Sir, we have a problem, the vampires have split up. The butler just left the hotel, Aiden and George are at Miss Diaz apartment...should I follow him or keep watching the High Vampire?"

Ignore the butler, the High Vampire b*tch is our priority." Said Michael after standing up from the bench because he saw Ceddy, Claudia and Leroy get off a taxi while carrying Claudia's unconscious mother.

James followed his order and ended the call.

Michael received the group and accompanied them. The nurse's took care of Claudia's mother and Rachel arrived with Chris at the hospital, joining them.

"Where is Stacey?" Asked Ceddy.

Everyone looked at each other. Rachel shrugged and dialed Stacy's number, only to find out that it was turned off.

Rachel was worried until Michael said, "It's alright she will eventually show up."

Leroy started to explain that Stacey was....strange, she would from time to time vanish.

Chris and Michael were already used to it.

"Ceddy, Claudia and Rachel will stay here and look after our parents....Leroy and Chris will come with me."

Aside from Leroy and Chris the rest of them didn't see through Michael's intent and started to argue.

"The three of you have almost no fighting experience. You will stay here while Leroy, Chris and I take care of the High Vampire."

They gave up arguing and entered the hospital.

Michael turned to Chris and Leroy, "Time to hunt." The three of them smiled like villains.

Johannes was still sweating after being confronted by the Bloodline Suppression from his Mistress. He was already outside of Palmer Falls, driving on the country road surrounded by woods. He was cursing inwardly that the Sanguine Council still refused to use phones, one needed to go there personally. Lucky that there were Sanguine Emba.s.sy in every big city.

It would take a few hours to the next city and Johannes was thinking about how to report the strange creatures that he met in Palmer Falls when he noticed something from the corner of his eye, "Wha..!"

Everything happened too fast, something rammed the car, sending it almost flying out of the road. Johannes lost control and the car crashed into a ma.s.sive tree outside the road.

When he came back to his sense he saw smoke coming out from the car engine and the windshield wa destroyed. Johannes was bleeding from his head and he pushed the air bag aside, opening the door and falling to the ground.

'What the h.e.l.l happened?' He was still a bit dizzy and stood up, looking around confused.

He walked around the car and his eyes locked into the huge dent on the left side of the car.

His mind became clearer and his wounds were slowly healing when a chilly sensation went through his entire body.

It was then that he heard steps coming from the woods and he turned around, his cold blue eyes narrowed and he took out a sword from the car, taking a fighting stance.

He knew exactly what had rammed the car, the over 2 meters tall creature walked slowly out from the shadows of the forest, revealing itself. Not far from Johannes stood a grey furred creature.

Johannes body tensed instinctively and he gripped his sword harder.

The creature was observing him with interest. Its golden rings in the middle of its eyes were shining dangerously in the darkness. Johannes brain was working at full speed, thinking about ways how to slay the beast in front of him when his body suddenly shook.

'What is happening?'

His pupils grew wide and he started shivering uncontrolled in fear.

Something about the creature is wrong.

'What is it, what is this, why do I feel so much fear?'

He looked at its wolf like head and his sword fell on the ground, his body gave in and he fell on his knees. His thoughts were full of chaos and fear.

'Its...expression, what kind of expression is that?'

The expression from the grey furred beast in front of him was just too unnatural, too wicked.

It seemed like it was laughing, showing its sharp fangs, its wolf like face looked evilly twisted and its eyes...they had changed, they had turned completly red with the golden rings changing into golden slits.

The sensation that flooded his body was vastly different from the Bloodline Suppression from his Mistress.

If he had to describe Elena, he would say it is like looking up at a n.o.ble existence. Something that he could never reach but what he was going through him right now was stronger...no not stronger it was more pure.....pure terror!

Tears invaded his eyes and they started to run down his cheeks. He looked up and saw the beast was almost upon him.

"Dear G.o.d...."

Elena was lying on the couch and was thinking how to lure out those creatures that Johannes had told her about. She took a sip from the wine gla.s.s and savored the dry but juicy taste.

It was then that her eyes shifted to the door. She stood up and looked at the door in surprise.

"You gotta be kidding me." She vanished from the spot and appeared outside the room, only to see her two blood servants lying dead on the floor with crashed skulls.

She could smell the odor from the attacker in the air, it killed Nr. 7 and 16 like 8 seconds before.

A furious glint flashed through Elena's bright red pupils, 'You kill my slaves a few meters away from me and think you can escape? Dream on!'
