Jason could finally send out an olive branch to the Spirit. Afterall earlier, he was rather tense with it, but everything was clear now, and the Spirit was currently serving him as a servant.
"I don't know. I only have a beast name, but that's mostly screeching or hissing."
(That's awkward. Can't expect a hydra to have a human name. Alright, so as the first act of his master, I should name him. Hmmm, I should think about something cool. A t.i.tle for a leader.)
"How about Arthur? Your new name could be Arthur. It's the name of a king, you know! King Arthur of the Round Table! So how about Arthur you like it?"
Through the short interaction, Jason could tell that the Hydra or Arthur now was rather arrogant and proud of being a n.o.ble beast. a "nine-headed hydra" as he put it. So what was better than being a n.o.ble? It was being a king or at least having the name of a king.
"Arthur? I love it !! My name is Arthur now."
Arthur was quite happy about his name. You could tell he was pleased because his long tongue was darting in and out of his mouth.
As expected, this narcissistic serpent took to the name of King Arthur and thought itself a king of the Hydra's already.
"Alright, then, Arthur. Go back into hibernation mode. I am dispelling the armour now."
The Hydra heads slowly retracted into Jason's back, and as they did so, the armour around him dispelled as well. Jason was pleased with how everything turned out. He simply wanted to improve his strength and defence by getting some armour. But instead with his lucky encounter of the Hydra Spirit. It had now become nearly an all-around upgrade since the new Hydra Armour was more robust than what he had expected to create from the blood he had got. Not to speak about the blood tendrils. They got a complete upgrade with Arthur and the newly formed Hydra heads. The heads and their sharp fangs were deadlier than simple tentacles. While the upgrade from the barrel Jason had bought was gone, there was still the surprise from the Hydra Essence Blood Crystal. He had gained the power of poisonous fire that all Hydra's can breathe. It was something he had gained when he had absorbed Arthur's blood. It was a Hydra's innate ability to spit their unique type of fire. But through the consumption of another's essence blood Jason stole one of their innate abilities. Jason admired his ability to take the innate traits of others. It was a MINDBREAKING POWER that any race, no matter how great, could potentially have their power drained from them.
But now, with the power that was pouring through Jason's blood right now, he had a l.u.s.t for blood and battle. His new powers were calling to him to shed blood and see how easily they would tear flesh and draw blood.
(OUUUUUUUUUUUU I WISH A b.i.t.c.h WOULD TRY ME. AHHHHH, I am f.u.c.king pumped right now. I am the real deal now. I f.u.c.kING LOVE HOW BROKEN I AM.)
Seriously stealing powers was a remarkable power.
WHOOSH!!!!

Jason appeared in his armour, blood tendrils on his back and a sword made of blood in his hand. Jason looked like a lightly armoured demon king as he stood there. His chest plate swirled with the image of nine Hydra heads circling Jason's family crest as the crest was in the very middle of the chest plate. His arm plates were engraved with soft waves crashing like a tsunami all over the armour. But the sanguineous that it invoked made all viewers of the armour know that the waves were not of water. The waves were blood. The last piece of this armour was the helmet. There was a bat's fanged head guarding Jason's head at the crest of his hairline the bat's wings arched backwards extended out to give Jason "ear's" from a distance. A visor covered his face completely. Finally, there was a flourish as a red cape fluttered behind Jason.
Jason thought there would be some difficulty seeing out of the helmet, but it seemed like there weren't any large obstructions stopping him from seeing out of it. While his area of vision had shrunk because of the plating on the helmet, otherwise, it was not terrible. But it seemed like through magical means more grids were covering the helmet, then it appeared because he had a clear view, but he also had a feeling that others wouldn't be able to see his face with the helmet on.
He could tell his armour could take most low calibre weapons and rifles. Unless he stood there and got blasted at endlessly, he could take most shots without dying, but he would feel the pain, especially from rifle shots. When the armour got upgraded, he would not fear rifle shots or high calibre snipers. Even so, against a demon or high-level werewolf, it still wouldn't be enough. The magic and power of a demon could punch through the armour, and the claws of an alpha werewolf could tear through the chest plate. His chest plate didn't have the defensive power of a Hydra yet, but as time went on and Arthur and his essence blood produced more blood, the armour would strengthen and gain more magical resistance. Jason's gloved hand stretched out as he made an orb of glowing green flames. The flame burning in his palm would not only burn its enemies, but those burned by the fire would fall victim to the Hydra's poison as well. It was a rare type of beast fire.
(Haha, the next time I fight with someone, I can get the Hydra's to tear them apart or the fire to burn them to shreds. hehehehehe.)
Jason was practically rubbing his hands together in glee as he thought of how much power he had gained and the Hydra Fire that was burning brightly in his palms. With a grip of his hand, he extinguished the flame flaring in his hand. He needed an opponent to test his strength now that he had gained so much. He wanted to know how he measured up.
