So that while buildings on the Topside can be filled with humans but the same building on the Underside can be filled with vampires or ogres or even dragons. Humans on the Topside won't be able to see our true forms due to the interference from the Underside as well so it serves to give us a place to exist and it keeps us a secret from humans. But of course, there are humans that know of us and they are even able to enter the Underside but they are usually only there briefly to travel due to the fact that s.p.a.ce is easily manipulated in there due to it being falsely created and twisted from the Topside s.p.a.ce." Ashley was more eloquent than her brother and was able to easily explain compared to her brothers fumbling for words but that didn't mean he was idiotic or anything it was simply that compared to Ashley's in-depth magic knowledge Michael was more ignorant of how the Underside was formed.

With their Master's words, Ashley and Michael felt a bit awkward at the description filled with all types of weird s.h.i.t after all vampires would be included in that description. But of course, there was no denying the fact that there were weird species involved in the Underside.
