Mo Linyuan didn't even think twice to take the whip, but the tall man beside Ye Tian suddenly stepped forward and stopped him.

Mo Linyuan's extended hand was grabbed as he widened his eyes. He watched as the whip whistled towards Ye Mu. At that moment, his heart felt like it was about to stop beating!

Ye Mu was caught off guard, but luckily, although she was injured, she was still able to move.  Her body tensed up as she rolled on the bed, and with a “pa” sound,  she managed to dodge the attack. However, her left hand was still cut by the whip, leaving behind a trail of blood!

Ye Tian cried in pity. How could she have avoided it?!

Ye Mu wasn't someone to be trifled with. After her left hand was. .h.i.t, her right hand instantly retaliated. Picking up a jade ornament from the table by the side,  she viciously threw it towards Ye Tian!

The man protecting  Ye Tian hastily tried to block it, but at this moment, Mo Linyuan gave him a strong tug. The jade ornament slipped through his fingertips, and in the end, the tip smashed brutally against Ye Tian's shoulder, causing him to bleed profusely!

“AHHHH!”  Ye Tian screamed miserably as he held his shoulder and sat on the ground from the pain. When he saw his hands were covered in blood, he panicked and screamed, “Master Yan, save me! Master Yan, quickly save me!”

Yan Xu pushed Mo  Lin Yuan away and, in a flash, stood in front of Ye Tian, while Mo Linyuan instantly walked to Ye Mu's side to shield her behind him.

Seeing that he was losing more and more blood by the minute, Ye Tian's panicked voice became sharper and more spiteful!

“Ah…so painful! d.a.m.n it! You b.i.t.c.h! Scoundrel! How dare you do this to me! I must  tell my father, tell my grandfather—I must tear you into ten thousand  pieces!” He screamed in agony.

“Young  Master!” Yan Xu finally called out to Ye Tian and embraced him,  retreating from the room. Ye Mu didn't have the strength to stop him as he listened to Ye Tian's curses getting further and further away. His lackeys also hurriedly ran away from the scene.

She had been caught unprepared by the first wife before…although she understood the dangers of this world, she was still not decisive enough in the matter of revenge.  Yet, because of her lack of resoluteness, the other party had once again come knocking on her door, almost taking her life in the process!

If she didn't have a certain level of skill, then even if she didn't die, her face would be disfigured. This world was indeed a world where strong people ate the weak,  and she couldn't even belittle a small child, because the children here—their ruthlessness and indifference to human life, were now carved into her mind.

It was as if when the whip came down on her just now, he didn't have any hesitation to kill. Maybe even if there wasn't any conflict between them, he could still kill her easily without batting an eye.

Since that's the case, they shouldn't blame her for counterattacking from now on!

“Young lady!  Are you okay?” Ye Xiaolang rushed over, his eyes filled with worry.
