The Blood Prince 5 Chapter 4

A scrawny child is lying on a huge bed sleeping peacefully. A man who looks like a herbalist in plain brown clothing sighs and thinks 'thank G.o.d! he's alive. if something would've happened to him the demon king would've grilled me for dinner'.

The Old man standing a bit away from him asked in a concerned tone "How is he?" the herbalist was shocked but hastily replied, "By the grace of your majesty everything's all right". The old man nods and orders "Ask Gran to prepare Sophie's courtyard for him, also buy the best quality maids you can, remember they must be virgins. Now get out" the herbalist bowed and retreated while sating "Yes your majesty"

After the herbalist left the Old man came closer to the boy and sat next to him, he turned to the window and asked: "Robin did you convey the message to Kai's Emperor". A knight wearing a mixture of black and red slowly started appearing like an old photo being printed he came a bit closer then bowed and said with a smirk "Yes your Majesty the message was delivered loud and clear".

Seeing his expression the Old man let out a chuckle then he looked towards the oy and said "This time he just escaped the jaws of death, If he were to die I would not be able to forgive myself", Robin came near him and said "But thankfully young master is alright" the old man said "I will not let anyone ever hurt My grandson, Robin NEVER." he looked up then thought to himself 'Sophie, I hope you rest in peace for I will take care of Ariel for you'.

*Meanwhile in Ronin's thoughts*

'Whwhat the h.e.l.l happened' he thought to himself . he then started to a.n.a.lyze the memories which flooded into his mind

*Ariel's POV*

'My name is Ariel Kai and I am the Fourth prince of the Great Empire of Kai, I am 8 years old. I don't remember much of my mother as she pa.s.sed away when I was four as for my father I have only meet him once or twice a month.'

At first, Ariel thought that he was a bad boy, that he did bad things was the reason for his father constantly ignoring him he thought 'I don't know why father hates me, is it because I'm bad. No, From today onwards I will be a good boy' and from then on Ariel started to treat everyone with respect, diligently studying and being polite to everyone.

After a few weeks when he met his Father, he ran in joy towards him expecting a hug but he was stopped by a sudden pressure and forced on his knees 'What is happening' he thought "fath-" another boy ran past him into the arms of his father, on getting a clear look he recognized him to be his Eldest brother 'Why' he thought 'Why doesn't he like me am I, not his son am I different from brother, but brother gets fewer marks and is rude, but still he gets hugs WHY?'.

As Ariel was thinking this one more figure went past him 'Eldest Mother and Third brother' thought Ariel and after they met up, the Emperor said something to the empress's maid and walked away with everyone, as soon as he walked away the pressure disappeared Ariel shot up and ran towards them.

But before he could chase after them a hand gripped his collar and lifted him in the air, he struggled with all his might but it was all futile he then said "Leave me, I want to eat with Father" the maid said "You will be having dinner in your room" and then even after Ariels repeated protests and struggle she took him into his room and threw him on the bed and said coldly "Stay here brat! don't you get it, that no one likes you"

Ariel was shocked but quickly retorted "NO" thinking 'even if no one likes me it's ok as long as father likes me', the maid laughed and said "You fool don't you see everyone avoids you" when he thought about it, what she said was correct as everyone always avoids him.

Coming to his conclusion he became sad and asked "Why do they hate me" when the maid saw him becoming said her eyes twinkled as she thought 'her majesty's plan is flawless'. She said, "Its because you are a devil-sp.a.w.n".

Ariel became confused and asked "Whats does devil-sp.a.w.n mean" The maid replied "child of a demon, in simple words, y-o-u-r m-o-t-h-e-r w-s a d-e-m-o-n so are you" as soon as Ariel heard this his mind went haywire and he started mumbling "no" continuously.

After a while, he came to his senses and thought 'ill just ask father if its true or not' and instantly became happy, he the shot towards the door saying "I'm going to meet father", but the maid caught him and slammed him to the bed and said "STAY" and left.

Ariel felt pain all over his body and started crying, he thought 'where are you mother, why did you leave me I'm scared here' he sobbed and slowly went to sleep.

The next few weeks Aril became extremely quiet and gloomy. But one day when he met his father with a hopeful Expression and shining eyes he asked "Father I'm not a demon sp.a.w.n right", everyone near him had shocked expression, in a fit of anger The Emperor slapped him hard and Ariel flew and hit his head on the wall, if not for him being a genius in cultivation he would have died from the impact.

He was seriously hurt, he could not leave his room for 4 months. After that ariel became gloomy and expressionless the previously happy boy with shiny eyes was replaced with a stoic expression and dead eyes.

*POV ends*

'So this boy's name is Ariel, well what a sad past. Don't worry boy from now on I am Ariel and I will get justice for you' thought Ronin. he then started rapidly circulating the Qi inside his body, and due to the boy practicing like a madman without showing it to anyone his body was filled with Qi.

'now let's start Recreating the body' thought Ronin and then he started sending Qi to all the components of the body be it bones, heart, eyes or even hair.

After a while 'it's done, but it only increased a little strength. But well something is better than nothing'.

*Meanwhile in the Bedroom*

The boy slowly opened his eyes, he looked around and asked the old man "Who are you"
