Within the next 2 days, he found that his limit with both sword and amour was 15 seconds. But oddly enough, this did not bother him as he would often be in a deep thought. The Trial Guardian had mention directly supplying his teammates with energy through his Aura and this stuck with him. He knew he had enemies on a planetary level and he needed to be ready and so did his team.
The other thing that struck him was the world of darkness that had enveloped him in the dreamland. That attacked stripped the light from the world and robbed him of his family.
The thought stuck with him and he wanted to burn the pain out of existence! Rage would often smoulder in his stomach and with a clenched fist, he launched a small White Star energy ball (Dwarf Star) about 6 feet in diameter. It floated above his head and moments later gravity started to fluctuate around the White Dwarf Star!
BANG!
Suddenly it became RED from his smouldering rage! The Red Dwarf Star started to emit a burning heat that seemed to affect the soul! Even the guardian found himself, a spirit, emitting uncontrollable energy that seemed bursting out with power!
The Guardian immediately shouted at Hittan to stop! But it was too late. A Berserker Star had been born and Hittan's eyes became bloodshot Ruby Red! All Hittan could see was destruction and a world-ending disaster!
He had been too fixated on the dream life and was losing sight of any other option but destruction!
Bdum!
BDum!!
BDUM!!!
A beating heart was suddenly heard and with the increasing volume an Emerald light blasted out from his chest. The emerald light immediately streamed into the Dwarf Star. A calm and caring feeling flooded Hittan as the Dwarf Star slowly turned green and a healing effect started to ripple outward. This effect calmed the chaotic energy in the Guardian.
The Guardian started to look at Hittan with new found wonder.
"Boy, why do you share the heart of Xuanwu and the eyes of the Moon G.o.ddess?! What have your past lives been up to?!"
But as soon as he asked his questions. .h.i.ttan fell back into a dream filled world, asleep!
************************************
Finding himself back in his Alicorn 4th incarnation's body the memory of the loss and pain became maddening!
He would often go seeking for any trace of dark energy and this surprisingly enough led him back to the central continent's Capital City, Lunar Eclipse.
Some believed the name came from the adornment of Alexandrite crystals that would punctuate the walls of the Emperor's Castle, located in the centre of the city. A crystal deeply affected by daylight and because of the 3 suns that surrounded Gilead at varying distances and light spectrums. The city would often change from a Sapphire Blue to Emerald Green, but there were times when the city was a striking Blood Red Ruby!
Others believed that the city was named after the Moon G.o.ddess' most striking feature, Lunar Eyes. Representing the moon's...o...b..t, her Lunar Eyes would often appear blue like a full Blue Moon. But it is also said that once she lost sight of hope, daylight, they became Blood Red! Signifying a Blood Moon and Lunar Eclipse.
Having arrived back in the city he had to greet his parents who were members of the n.o.ble Cla.s.s of society. He didn't want to be bothered by any fanfare welcome or any cheerful gathering of people. But it could not be helped, as he had been away from his home the very first chance he could after entering the Elemental Ranks.
…
"Stop! This is private property Sir and I am afraid you can't enter as you please."
"Your face is new, so I a.s.sume you've been here less than 20 years, right?"
"Yes, Sir. But it changes nothing as I still can't let you enter unattended."
"I see."
Just then a more senior guard ran over to the main gate after spotting Hittan.
"Young Lord, Young Lord! You're really back!"
"... Yes, Adair. At least in the short term."
"Well, you are in luck Young Lord. You came back the same day that…"
"Same day as what Adair?"
"Well, Young Lord, your parents were tired of waiting for you to carry back a wife. So they decided to accept your childhood betrothed bride today."
"... I am already a widower."
"What!"
"... let's go see my parents and see if the family of the bride can accept me now. That should be enough for them to break the arrangement on their own accord."
…
Walking into a well-lit Dining room, Hittan could see his parents at the opposite end of a rectangular dining table made of Moonstone. While directly in front of Hittan with her back facing him sat a white-haired young woman. From the back, she seemed the embodiment of grace with her upright posture. Her voice was calming to his ear which was full of charm to him as he listened to her addressing his parents as mother-in-law and father-in-law. The closer he walked to her the less agitated he became, a feeling he had been stuck with for the past few months.
Being so caught up in the person's back and mannerisms. .h.i.ttan seemed to have developed tunnel vision. As he missed the little girl sitting off to the right near the wall where a small table and two chairs were placed for smaller size meetings.
Walking up to where she sat he bowed to his parents, who at this point was standing with faces in shock at his sudden return and on this day of all days!
Hittan then turned to greet the young lady, who he knew would drop this arrangement once she learns of his first wife. The n.o.ble cla.s.s in the Central Continent was more rigid with issues of this nature. Possibly out of fear of affecting their social standing.
Bowing towards her, the Hittan of that period thought she was a flawless gem. White hair and Blue eyes with delicate white skin.
'What the h.e.l.l is happening here? Isn't this Kaija…. Or Kaia?' Thought Hittan, who himself seemed to have missed the one new point about the person in front of him.
"Son, this is Young Lady Kata of the Moon Clan and her niece and disciple Samara to the side." As. .h.i.ttan's father gestured to the direction of Samara. He started to feel a slight headache come upon him, as he wondered whether or not Kaija or Kaia was here in the dream world with him?
