One Night With The Prince Chapter 242 - Crown Prince X2

Lady Lucy Le Grand wasn't too happy when Ramon turned down her request of going back to the Spaniard Kingdom.  She even threatened him that she would kill herself if he doesn't abide by her request.  However, Ramon knew her too well to worry about her threat.  

Since he was a child, she always uses that threat when she doesn't get her way.  But, even then, it never worked on him, he knew her too well.  She's full of threat, but that's all there is... a threat she loves living more than dying.

He remembers back when he was 12 years old. He didn't want to go back to the Spaniard Kingdom with his mother. That was the time when he had first realized that he likes Alexa Grant and doesn't want to be apart from her.  It was the happiest moment of his life while living in the Philippines.

For twelve years, he was living in the care of his nanny with her family, who had treated him very well.  Unfortunately, that was only because of the large amount of money they were receiving from his mother as his support.  Besides that, he was never treated as part of the family, and he was always an outsider.

When Lady Lucy Le Grand found out she was pregnant with Ramon, she requested to study abroad to hide her situation from the whole family.  She was granted and moved to New York City.  But that was only for the record, once she was registered.  Without anyone from her family finding out...

She moved to the Philippines long enough to give birth to Ramon, and once done, she left him to be raised by the nanny she hired. She was only visiting once a month when she feels like showing her face.

Unknown to Ramon his true ident.i.ty, he grew up in a third world country when he's supposed to be living and the luxury and comfort of their home in the Spaniard Kingdom.  Not until when the Duke, 'Ramon's grandfather' was in his death bed did he find out that he has a grandson living in the Philippines.  Thus he ordered Lady Lucy to bring him back to the Spaniard Kingdom.

Ramon was finally enjoying living in the Philippines because of Alexa, who became his friend in school.  Then his mother decided it was time for him to be introduced to her family.  And when he didn't want to go with her, she threatened him that she would kill herself.  Ramon doesn't care anymore and refused to go.  

Unfortunately, Lucy Le Grand needed him to receive forgiveness from her dying father.  When Ramon would not abide by her request, she did the worst... She drugged him and took him back to the Spaniard Kingdom without his knowledge and agreement.  Thus, Ramon was now able to bid Alexa goodbye.

Being he was only 12 years old then and a minor, there was not much he could do.  He tries to run away with no luck.   His mother hired a bodyguard to watch over him even when he's in school.  Thus preventing him from going anywhere.

Once he was home in the Spaniard Kingdom, he was restraint in communicating with everyone he knows.  Especially Alexa, who's an orphan and has the same fate as him. 

Alexa was also left in the care of the nanny while her mother went to America to work for a living.  Unfortunately, a tragic accident happened, and she was killed during the terrorist attack in the USA. She was thus leaving Alexa an orphan, not knowing her true ident.i.ty that she's the daughter of the President of the United States of America.

It took him many years of enduring the restricted lifestyle in the Spaniard Kingdom until one day when his uncle, the Duke, wanted him to have an heir.  He was finally allowed to go back to the Philippines and find the girl he had fallen in love with a long time ago.

Ramon was still reminiscing and contemplating if he should go back home or not. Suddenly his phone buzzed, and when he looked at the number, it's unknown.  He pondered for a moment and thinking of what to do.  At the last moment, he decided to answer the call. 

"h.e.l.lo!  Le Grand speaking! How can I help you?" Snarling at the person without knowing who was calling him.

"Ramon Le Grand?  Am I speaking with Ramon Le Grand?"  Asked the person on the other line.

"Yes!  This is he, how may I help you?"  He replies curtly, and he has a gut feeling that it's from the Kingdom of Stonasia from the accent of the person on the other end of the call.  However, he's not sure and will find out in a minute.

"Prince Ramon, this is the Queen of Stonasia's personal a.s.sistant.  The King is very I'll and requesting to speak with you.  It's an urgent matter in which requires your presence.  Therefore, I'm asked to contact you by the Queen.  "Will you accept the invitation, and I could inform that Queen that you would be attending?"  Asked the secretary of the Queen of Stonasia.

Ramon's brows creased once again, and this time, his fuming and past the limit of the people bothering him.  He could not understand why they keep on bugging him when he already told them back then that he was not interested in accepting his t.i.tle.  He wasn't then, and more so now.  

"Look!  I'm not the person you are looking for!  I'm not accepting any invitation to anyone!  Don't ever call me again, or else you would pay for the consequences.  Do you hear me?"  He then slides his finger and hangs up.  

" First, it was his mother for the Spaniard Kingdom wanting him to be the Crown Prince.  Now it's his father the King wanting to speak with him, probably to offer him the Crown Prince t.i.tle as well. 

"He couldn't understand the big deal of being the Crown Prince?  He doesn't care for the t.i.tle at all, the only thing he wanted in his life is one, and that's the woman he loves...  Why can't they get it into their thick heads?" Ramon mumbles to himself while feeling like he's going crazy "Ahhhh!!!!"
