"Thank you Zhi Ruo" Mai said. "I really appreciate it"
"Is there anything that is bother you, Mistress? I've been alive a very long time and could help you out with anything. Just ask and I will do my best for you." Zhi Ruo said proudly.
"it's nothing that can be fixed, I am just homesick and miss my parents" Mai said. "Even if I wasn't stuck in this room I would still feel the same way."
"Remember that you are not completely stuck in this room, let me show you the courtyard" Zhi Ruo said.
Zhi Ruo took Mia's hand as well as telling the pig to come toward the courtyard.
"This door will no longer be locked besides at night, but that is for your own protection you don't want any hooligans going into your room do you? Even I lock my door at night" Zhi Ruo said. Being the person that had prevented a few a.s.sa.s.sinations on the young master had in turn turned her into a target as well.
Guiding Mai towards the courtyard that was only few steps away from her door was a simple task. Once they arrived Zhi Ruo decided to give Mai some privacy.
"Mistress, I will be back later. I will go to the kitchens to get you some food. I know that your cooking is better than the chef here, so would you like me to get you rice and vegetables?" Zhi Ruo asked Mai.
Thinking about the wonderful food that she had made earlier that has all gotten eaten on her reminded Mai that she was quite angry at Han Bing.
"That is probably the best thing to do, I don't think I could stomach any of the so called meat that was served yesterday" Mai replied.
"Any chance that there is a kitchen in any of the rooms that come off of the courtyard?" Mai asked with hope, she quite liked meat and not eating it because no one could cook it right was a disgrace.
"It will be done tomorrow, mistress" Zhi Ruo replied and took her leave.
Finally alone Mai looked around the courtyard to actually see what was useful in escaping from this manor. Walking around she noticed that the courtyard was full of blooming flowers that she had never seen before. The colors ranged from a deep purple to a light pink and every color in between. As beautiful as they looked they did not look as if they would help Mai escape.
There was also a lone pavilion that stood in the middle of the courtyard, that offered a beautiful view of the garden that was surrounding it. The sun was close to setting as the sky had a red ish sunset that on Earth would have made any photographer drool.
Mulan oinked to gets its owners attention as it ran around the garden. When Mai looked at her she would wildly run into a bush of flowers and play hide and seek.
Mai sat in the pavilion watching over Mulan antics, laughing when the pig got stuck and tried to wiggle its but out of bushes. The peaceful atmosphere that was much need was appreciated by Mai as she laid down in the pavilion to think about her current situation.
"Han Bing surely is a intriguing person. One moment I feel as though he is a adorable school boy that doesn't know what to do on their first date, then the next he's a dignified ruler." Mai thought to herself, "Even earlier he looked so cute when he realized that the bundle in Zheng Li arms was a pig, his face was priceless" Mai gigged at the memory. "After though when we were back in the dungeon room, he was thoughtful enough to give me workout clothes." Mai couldn't help but blush when she thought about just how much he might have seen while she was exercising.
"Does he actually find me attractive?" Mai asked herself. Due to the little amount of reflective surfaces Mai had no idea what she looked like besides her black hair and rather pale skin. Once again Mai started to get b.u.t.terflies, she had never had a boy go after her before and thought that it was fun to be in a dance with one.
Mai laid there as she wondered what she could cook tomorrow in her own private kitchen, she slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep to the setting sun.

Beep beep beep. The constant beeps could be heard in the hospital room where's Mai's original body lay. In the distance you could hear a woman cry where's a man asking if there was anything that could be done to save his daughter.
"Your daughter is currently in a coma, we have to run test to determine what caused the coma. Currently all her vitals are in good condition, so as long as it is not anything major then she should wake up in the next day or two." The doctors replied to the man.
The woman who's wrinkles on her face had multiplied ever since her only daughter had been found pa.s.sed out on the floor in the living room. She had more grey hair than ever before yet all of these things seemed pointless as she watched her only daughter lay motionless on the hospital bed.
Gently rubbing her hand on Mai's head to offer comfort and to let Mai know that she wasn't alone, no matter what they would always be there when she woke up. Even if she didn't wake up tomorrow or the next day, they would always be patiently waiting for her.
Her husband silently grasped his wife in his arms as they shared a sorfo embrace with each other. "She will wake up, don't worry, she is a strong girl. We raised her didn't we." The husband tried to offer comforting words to his wife. However, even he didn't know what the future would bring.
