"Can't you wait" Zheng Li said while rolling his eyes. "Seriously, she just got here you should show her around the house a little. Maybe even present the garden area, you know just some suggestions."

Han Bing glared at Zheng Li but said nothing to disregard what he had said and nodded.

Mai laughed at the two men in front of her, they were so different from their first encounter that she was amazed that they were the same people who had locked her up in a room.

They both turned to glare toward Mai who just laughed even harder than before.

"What would you like to do today Mai?" Han Bing asked lightly as he was determining what there future plans should be.

"Umm" Mai started "perhaps the garden, it did sound nice."

"Okay the garden it is" Han Bing said while grinning at Mia "you are going to like it a lot."

Mai's heart fluttered as she stared dreamingly at Han Bing. Being able to hear him talk and act carefree sent intense joy through her system. Mai felt as though everything that she had been through was worth sitting here with him enjoying the moment.

Han Bing wrapped his hand around Mais gently rubbing his thumb along the top of her palm in small sensual strokes.

"Ugh really!" Zheng Li shouted out playfully as he saw that Han Bing wasn't done teasing Mia. "Well I'm going to go do … other things now… call me when lunch is ready"

Mai watched Zheng Li walk down the hall until he was out of sight. Once he was gone she looked over at Han bing and glared at him "you didn't have to make him run away you know."

"But, it was to easy! You should see what it's normally like to get him to go find other things to do" Han Bing said while chuckling "seriously he is like a leech."

Mai's mouth dropped open at the thought of Zheng Li being a leech "really a leech?" Mai asked as she tried picturing Zheng Li attaching himself to Han Bing and not letting go. "I almost have some compet.i.tion for Han Bing" Mai thought to herself.

"Well he doesn't go away and just accompanies me around, sometimes i'll even catch him attempting to secretly follow me, its most absurd!" Han bin said.

Mai was truly happy when she saw how Han Bing had adapted to not being a ice cube, with his true self shining through. In reality if they were both back in the 21 century Mai was pretty sure that she would be way out of Han Bings league. There was also the problem that she would be to shy to say anything to him to begin with. Not to mention that he probably wouldn't throw her over his shoulder and carry her off like a oaf that he had done here.

Mai thought about how much things had changed from the first day that she had arrived in this strange world to now. She had gone from hating Han bing to loving him along with a few other people.

"How long have you two known each other?" Mai asked Han bing who was still stroking her hand. Mai had to concentrate on other things so that she wouldn't get swept up in the desire that was running through her. Mia was pretty sure that they had done a lot of fun things over the course of the night. However, not being able to remember only made her want it that much more.

Mai was disappointed when Han bing stopped stroking her hand. In the end she decided that it was a good thing though because she did want to see this garden of theres and would probably not making if they stayed there doing that to each other.

"I've known him for as long as I could remember" Han bIng said thoughtfully. "He was my brother in arms, my friend, and many other things. I've survived because of him, I would do anything for him."

Mai almost giggled at what he was saying but could tell that he was being completely serious. Thinking back about what his life must have been like in that small manor with no family around him and the terrifying Emperor not so far away Mai felt a deep sense of sadness for him. She was grateful that he had been able to find someone that could share that burden with him in his young life.

Mai watched as Han Bings face fell from its calm collected bearing to one of sadness. She imagined that thinking about such a past would probably fill her with sadness as well. To never know who her parents were, to never feel the warmth of her mother or father as they took away all her childish worries.

Mai felt Han bings body tense as his eyes slightly glazed over. Mai knew that he was trapped in the past going over terrible experience after experience that he had once been subjected to live through. Wanting to snap him out of it Mai did the only thing that she could think of that would offer him endless amounts of comfort.

Mai wrapped both arms around Han Bings neck staring into his eyes. She waited for him to acknowledge what was going on around him before closing her eyes and giving him a deep kiss. It started as a slow touch of there lips together, followed by a slight parting in surprise from his end. Mai took the opportunity to run her tongue along his lips before playing with his tongue earnestly.

Han Bings arms instantly reach around Mai and pulled her closer to him as he groaned into her mouth. The slightest touch from Mai would send spasms of sensation running throughout his body. Although they had had done a lot of things last night the pa.s.sion that Han Bing could sense from Mai was missing. He thought that it was rather strange last night but finding out about the aphrodisiac it made sense.

Han bing drew in a deep breath as he came up for air from there kiss. He had never had someone take him out of his nightmares in such a way before. He was completely grateful for what Mai had done but also cursed at his bodies reaction to her being so close to him. It felt as thought he was a thirsty man in a desert and Mai was an oasis that he couldn't get enough of.

"I love you, Han Bing" Mai whispered into his ear while slightly blushing.

Han Bing felt his face hurt from smiling so big as he pulled Mai towards himself "and I you, my Mai flower."
