How To Melt An Ice Cube 11 Morning Sunrise

Mai rose with the sun in the morning. She could vaguely remember being really sad last night, there were dried tears that had run down her cheeks. Mai thought it was really important but couldn't remember any of it, with a sigh she glanced at Mulan. Decided that it was time to go to the courtyard since Mulan had been in the room all night and Mai had no idea how good it was at not doing its business in the room.

She stretched before she walked towards the door. Mai expected it to be locked but was pleasantly surprised that it was not.

"Come Mulan let's go outside" Mai beckoned to the little pig.

Mulan Ooinked as she dashed after Mai not wanting to miss a beat.

In the distance Mai could see someone that was in her courtyard. A little concerned she slowed down her steps to see who it could be. She was once again surprised as it was Zhi Yan.

"Good morning, mistress!" Zhi Yan shouted as she saw Mai.

Mai not being much of a morning person could barely contain the energy to reply even half as excited as the young servant in front of her.

"So, being your companion and all I thought maybe if the mistress is okay with it that we could workout together?" Zhi Yan asked shyly as she hid her face in her hands. Mai was different from everyone else her according to her grandmother but she still didn't know if asking this would be acceptable.

Mai laughed at the thought of exercising with other people. On earth her friends had given up on her because she would get tired to fast for the h.e.l.lish workouts they had been doing. "Sure," Mai replied.

Zhi Yan's eyes lighted with excitement as she let out a little cheer. She proceeded to pick up Mulan and with raised arms twirling in circles.

Oooiiinnnkkk Mulan let out when she was set on the ground wobbling around from dizziness.

Zhi Yan said "This pig is so cute! I wish I had one."

Mai agreed with her and started to feel better that Han Bing had gifted her with useful things.

"I am going to go put my exercising robe on and be right back," Mai said looking over at Zhi Yan.

Zhi Yan face was tinged with a light blush as she agreed. Mai remembered that the servants had all been there when Han Bing has gifted it to her and could probably tell why. Now Mai's face flushed in embarra.s.sment wondering how many people knew.

She returned to the courtyard wearing her incredible soft and flexible clothing ready to attempt to workout.

"Wow, mistress, this is really expensive material! It's soooo soft" Zhi Yan said as she took a piece and rubbed it against her face.

Mai laughed and went "It is really comfortable." With a delightful grin on her face.

They chose a area in the courtyard that was mostly flat ground but surrounded by beautiful flowers. The sun had moved to a more over head position in the sky as it let down its rays. The courtyard would have been a haven for any person that practiced wellbeing cla.s.ses.

Mai was doing jumping jacks for the 50th time with Zhi Yan when she started to get tired. She had done a lot more then the day before. Zhi Yan clearly workout everyday as she hadn't even broken a sweat the whole time. "G.o.d, why does she have some much energy? Reminds me of those battery bunny commercials" Mai thought to herself. She didn't want to give up though so she kept on pushing herself to do more. After the jumping jacks Zhi Yan started to do jump lunges.

Mai being tired didn't notice the rock that she had moved towards and when she had jumped on top of it, it slid. Mai who was about to jump with the foot now found it in a odd position as her body was heading towards the ground.

Zhi Yan tried to catch her but was a second to late. Mai had hit the ground with a hard thump.

"Ahh i think we should stop for the day, are you okay mistress?" Zhi Yan asked.

"Yup, I'm just clumsy don't worry lots of experience falling" Mai said as she bounced back from the ground and stood up. "Let's do some yoga poses as well."

"Okay! What is yoga though? Zhi Yan asked.

"Yoga is doing movements and breathing at the right time, while at least that's what I can remember." Mai replied in a hushed tone.

Mai showed Zhi Yan how to do some poses and then they both laid on the gra.s.s staring at the sky super relaxed.

"I'm starving" Mai declared.

"Oooohhhh" Zhi Yan practically shouted out "are you going to make food again?" Her eyes were begging that the answer would be yes.

"Of course" Mai said shaking her head up and down. "I wonder what type of ingredients will be brought to the kitchen today," Mai thought to herself.

"Is the kitchen set up here or do we have to go to the same one as yesterday?" Mai asked Zhi Yan.

"It's ready" Zhi Yan said excitedly as she realized that she would be able to try some of the food this time. Ever since staring at the pork loin from yesterday she couldn't stop thinking about how good it must have tasted. "Come I will show you." Zhi Yan said as she grabbed Mai's hand to get her to move faster.

They walked into another building that was just off of the courtyard in the opposite direction as Mais room. The courtyard was similar to a square with buildings coming off of it in every direction besides the walkway inside. It was rather hidden from the other servants since it was so hard to get to.

Once they walked inside Mai was greeted with the same sight as the last kitchen. On closer inspection this had more equipment brought to the room so that she could make anything that she could think of.

"What will I make for lunch today?" Mai thought to herself as she tried to think of something easy to make.

"What do you mean that you are not the one to create the new dish" the Emperor roared at the head chef from Han Bings manor.

"I .. I, I just am not the one that made it your majesty" the chef tried hard not to cry out but was currently chained to the wall being tormented making it hard to do.

The chef cursed in his heart at whoever had been the person to create such a smell the day before. "I must destroy them" the chef thought for making him deal with such a situation.

"Bring me whoever created the dish yesterday" the Emperor shouted out "even if they come kicking and screaming." The Emperor was truly infuriated at this point for Han Bing playing such a intricate game with him.
