Worried Huang

Huang Yu's efficiency surpa.s.sed Liu Shenghao's expectations. He was just thinking about leaving when he got a call about the meeting for tomorrow. Liu Shenghao nodded, then hung up after saying a few sentences.

A waiter came in  and asked if he should serve the food.

"Please box it up for me."

"Okay, please wait a moment."

Liu Shenghao carried the food out with him. He was going to go home, but then remembered his mom might possibly be at home, so he drove to Lu Xu's store instead.

Lu Xu had also just arrived. Yesterday, Uncle had not returned home to eat. Although when he called he said he was fine, his mom made him go to Uncle's place to check up on him. But Uncle had gone out, so all Lu Xu could do was come to the shop.

Seeing his good friend holding what looked like food, he called out to him, "Bro! Aren’t you slapping my face?"

"En…" Liu Shenghao nodded and had one of the staff bring him some utensils. He grabbed a few bottles of beer and sat down to eat. Last night, he had drank a little too much beer so he couldn't stomach anything until now. He was hungry!

"Bro! You know what kind of store this is?" Lu Xu sat down next to Liu Shenghao.

"A restaurant."

"So you do know where you came in! Then why are you doing this?"

"Didn't you learn that you can't waste food!?"

"You!"

"Shut up! Don't talk when I'm eating!"

Lu Xu also opened a bottle of beer and grabbed his own utensils and dug in as well.

There was not much food, only two people's portion. Lu Xu suddenly realized something. He looked at Liu Shenghao who was almost done eating and asked slyly, "Who did you go out and eat with? Did you release a pigeon1means "to be stood up"[footnote]?"

Liu shenghao raised his head and looked at Lu Xu without speaking. Lu Xu suddenly got it. "Don't say anything! Let me guess! It was that Huang family brat!"

Liu Shenghao still did not say anything, continuing to drink his beer.

"I knew it was him! But Bro, even if your and his family's companies are cooperating, if you don't like him, don't lead him on! His springtime has just started!"

"I told him clearly."

"So what if you did! You are unable to like him? Then don't do this! Muster up your usual courage! Directly break it off with him! Before, Li Zhou, he…"

"Shut up!"

Lu Xu realized he spoke too much and didn't say anything anymore…

Huang Yu exited the restaurant, huffing in ager. He called his dad but no one picked up. He then called his dad's a.s.sistant, Uncle Yuan. After explaining to him what he needed, he hung up the phone. Now he  was standing on the road side, and he didn't know where to go. His heart really hurt! He called his dad again; this time he did pick up. "h.e.l.lo…"

"What's wrong? Why is your voice so low? Were you left behind?"

"No! Father, you can't abuse your authority for private interests! I don't have the knowledgee to partic.i.p.ate in a business discussion! He also disliked this. You just made him dislike me more! Father, you can't undermine me like this."

"If you can't now, you can learn. If he doesn’t like why are you so angry. Listen to your father, you…"

"Where are you now?" interrupted Huang Yu.

"Eating at MAX."

"You didn't invite me!? Order me some sweet and sour pork, I'm going there!" Huang Yu hung up the phone and got on a taxi. Eating was the best way to soothe the heart!

"I'll leave first then." Lu Jiangyu got his bag and was about to leave.

"No need to rush." Huang Yu stopped Lu Jiangyu. "Don't you want to see the son? Today he went to meet the Liu family brat."

Lu Jiangyu sat down once he heard this. Huang Qishan put some food on his plate. "The exercise was too much earlier; you almost fainted. Eat some more. Tonight, I will take you to see a movie."

The first sentence made Lu Jiangyu flush bright red. Right now he regretted sending Huang Qishan that message on that day. This man really had too much skin on his face…

Huang Qishan called over the waiter and ordered two more dishes and two bowls of rice.

"This much?"

"Your son eats a lot!"

When Huang Yu arrived, the food had already been served. He saw his Teacher Lu there and became suspicious. "Father, why are you and Teacher Lu together?"

"We met to talk about you, so we decided that we might as well eat."

"Oh!" Huang Yu did not ask anymore. His dad will definitely tell him about his schoolwork when he got home, so he was in no rush. Huang Yu shoveled two mouthfuls of rice into his mouth and put some sweet and sour pork in his bowl, turning the rice red with sauce. He then poked the meat till it was soft and mixed it together with his rice. He also fished out the vegetables from the soup and mixed it in. Huang Qishan had watched his son eat like this since he was young, so he wasn't bothered by it, but Lu Jiangyu who was raised strictly could not look at him straight. However, this was his son, so he smiled and gave Huang Yu some more food. This brat ate a lot of rice; to be able to eat was a blessing! Good!

"What happened today?" asked Huang Qishan.

"Don't mention it! Today he…" He looked at Teacher Lu and then stopped. "I'll tell you when you we get home! It's really makes me angry!"

Huang Qishan was about to say that he could go ahead and say it, but Lu Jiangyu kicked under the table and shook his head at him subtly. Although he and Huang Qishan were together again, he did not know how to explain to his son why he left him for so many years. Although Huang Qishan said Huang Yu wouldn't blame him, Lu Jiangyu was still scared. Scared that the relationship they had now would be destroyed.

Huang Yu didn't notice his father's and Teacher Lu's secret exchange. He focused on eating his mixed meal. What could he do next? He couldn't give up! It was really worrisome!
