Huang Tadpole Looks for His Daddy

The butler called out to him several times, but found that Lu Jiangyu was not paying attention at all. This was someone who he had once taken care of so he felt a bit emotional, so he remained standing next to him for a moment, before calling out to him again and finally arousing Lu Jiangyu from his stupor.

"Mr. Lu, would you like to come in and sit down for a moment? I don’t think Master would-”

“That won’t be necessary,” he interrupted. “I should come a different day…”

Watching Lu Jiangyu’s spooked figure, the old butler shook his head. Why was all of this happening…I just don’t understand!

Huang Yu had run back to his bedroom and stood on the balcony and saw his father talking to Teacher Lu. Teacher Lu looked very emotional, but Huang Yu couldn’t hear him. He scratched his head and took out the file folder and started to read.

“You stupid brat! You have some guts, huh!” Huang Qishan came in shouting and pulled on Huang Yu’s ear.

“Owww!!!! Dad, why didn’t you knock on the door?” Huang Yu flailed against his dad while trying to act cute, trying to get his dad to release him.

Huang Qishan twisted his ear. Huang Yu kicked his dad’s leg and Huang Qishan’s face darkened. “You aren’t a pure maiden! I can go in your room without knocking!”

“Then I am also at the prime of my life. It wouldn’t be pretty if you came in and saw something you shouldn’t!”

“Your daddy is in the prime of his life. You are at most a chick who just left his sh.e.l.l!” Huang Qishan finally let go, then pinched his face. “Do you want to anger me to death? Didn’t I tell you to stay at home? You went out to find Teacher Lu?”

“N-no! Dad, dad, dad, dad, leet gooo. You’ll pinch my face off!”

Huang Qishan slapped the back of Huang Yu’s head. He was going to say something when he caught sight of the stuffed file folder on Huang Yu’s bed. He grabbed a paper and read it. “What is this?”

Huang Yu s.n.a.t.c.hed it back. “I’m looking for my mom! If you won’t tell them then don’t bother me!” He quickly s.n.a.t.c.hed up the folder.

“You still believe that you are a little tadpole? Still looking for your mom? You should look for a dad!” joked as Huang Qishan walked over to Huang Yu’s cabinet and looked at his pictures.

“So you’re admitting it?! My mom is a man?!!!” Huang Yu was suddenly excited.

“I didn’t say anything. You carry on, Huang Tadpole. And the next few days you will stay put! If I find out you went running around again, I will make sure you can't even find your blood-related father!”

Huang Yu turned his back to Huang Qishan, his lips curling. This was his father? Who needed this blood-related father! More like a fake father!

Of course, Huang Yu was just thinking this. He and his fake father still had blood-ties in this world. It seemed if he wanted to escape this blood-related father who loved to hit and pinch and mock him, Huang Yu would have to work harder to find his blood daddy!!!

Knock-knock. Someone was knocking on the door.

“What is it?” Huang Yu listlessly went to open the door. When he saw it was his blood-related father, he felt even more listless.

Looking at his son’s head drooping, Huang Qishan felt helpless. This son’s personality was not like his and also not like that person. Instead, it was like a fusion of the two, but didn’t absorb much…

“These are the clothes Teacher Lu bought for you. Next time, don’t let people buy clothes for you. It’s not like you don’t have any!”

"I know!”

Huang Yu was going to close the door, but was stopped by Huang Qishan. “Also…”

“What is it, Father?!”

“I’m going to switch your school…”

Huang Yu exploded. What switching schools! He couldn’t!!! “No! No! Absolutely no! I won’t agree!!!’

Seeing his son’s resolute look, Huang Qishan asked, “Why?”

In the end, he choose to be an art student. Huang Yu had liked drawing since he was young, and Huang Qishan spoiled his son, so Huang Yu’s artistic ability was really not bad! So he hired a home tutor to teach him general knowledge…but the teacher left in a rage more than once, so Huang Qishan had to step in personally! If Huang Yu didn’t listen, then he would get a beating!

As a result, Huang Yu scored over the thirty mark cut-off and was narrowly accepted. It should be known that Qingye University did not accept everyone who made the cut off! Some people scored over fifty marks but were still rejected. This school considered many factors when accepting students.

“No reason! Anyway, I won’t!” Huang Yu shouted.

“If you can’t say why, then you will change schools! You’ve been corrupted by that Teacher Lu! Before you would never speak this way to your dad!”

Huang Yu shut his mouth and didn’t say anything. It was hard to accept. He seemed to realize that he was not being obedient, but…

“I think Teacher Lu is a really good teacher; I like him…” he said, faltering.

“Nothing!” Huang Yu shook his head.

“So you want to change schools? Is that right?”

“Don’t, don’t…don’t force me!” Huang Yu was incensed.

“It seems you really want to switch schools…” Huang Qishan turned to go downstairs.

“I want to graduate the same school as Liu Shenghao!” rooared Huang Yu, and slammed the door.

Huang Qishan stood at the top of the stairs and saw his son close his door. In the end, he turned around and went to his study and didn’t come out even at night.

Huang Yu was mad that his father was forcing him to change schools, but he still went downstairs to eat dinner. He often ate dinner upstairs when he was young, but one time when he was carrying his bowl away, he was stopped by his father. He thought he was going to be scolded, but Huang Qishan told the young Huang Yu, “Xiaoyu, if even you don’t eat with Father, then Father will really be by himself.”

Xiaoyu who was carrying his bowl saw his father’s lowered head, and his heart couldn’t bear it! He ran over and sat next to his father. “I will eat with Father!”

Huang Qishan rubbed Huangyu’s head. “Good boy!”

Huang Yu looked at the empty seat and looked over upstairs. That old geezer still hadn’t come out…

The butler was going to heat the food again. “Young Master, you eat first!”

Huang Yu shook his head and stood up. “I will go see Father…”

Huang Yu walked to the door of the study and knocked. No one responded, so Huang Yu tried pushing on the door. It wasn’t locked.

He saw Huang Qishan’s back where he was sitting on a chair. Huang Yu called out, “Dad…”

“You really like men, and want to be with him? Xiaoyu…tell Dad what you are thinking.”

Huang Yu nodded. Since his father was faced away from him and wouldn’t see him, he also said, “Yes, Dad…Also…I’m sorry…”
