TL note

Subject-girl - literal translation of how LQW describes herself, subject because she’s talking to royalty and girl because she’s a girl. Her father would describe himself as “your subject”, the wives would call themselves “subject-concubine” because everyone has to debase themselves in front of royalty.

Emperor-uncle - again, literal description, Countess of Chaoxia’s father is the emperor’s brother so that’s how she’s a countess, and the emperor’s her uncle

All historical China or some parallel universe similar.

Also male love rival because why not. Cultivation novel with deities. 819 chapters and ongoing. Haven't read this one but it looks promising?

2. Much longer novel with a scrawny female lead who has reborn with her medical skills, the male lead is incredibly powerful and their road is fraught with female rivals who believe that the female lead isn't worthy of them. Lots of magic, they have a connecting s.p.a.ce where the female hides in and the male lead sometimes cooks for her. Male lead falls for her way before he even knows, he cares for her a lot and when he can't be there, they have a piece of putty that they can scribble messages for each other, kinda like Tom Riddle's notebook but instead of a creep replying, it's a scary male lead. 1204 chapters and ongoing, verrry long and popular. Have read this and it has a bit of a slow start but once the leads are together, it's great.

3. Female lead is reborn as a fox and the emperor finds her. This trope was popular for a while because there are a few very similar novels. One is that the reason why she was a fox was because there was a voodoo worm and she's actually a spy. But because she's the reincarnated version, she has no memories of why she's a spy and she only knows because there's a servant keeping tabs on her. Hilarious because the emperor tries to get her food and they bring her a live chicken, the fox and chicken stare at each other before the chicken goes crazy and the fox (female lead) looks disdainful until presented with a cooked chicken.

4. Female lead gets drugged and sleeps with the male lead. She ends up with a child who is super cute and witty. The toddler also has a penchant for alcohol and loves the male lead's panther (actual panther) and gets trapped because he was lured by the scent of it. Female lead gets lured by the promise of money as she saves some guy with her medical skills. The male lead promises her lots of money and when she gets there, it's all in ingots and she has to carry them in one go or it's a no deal. Obvious ploy to keep the female lead from running away. Historical again and pretty funny banter between the kid, the female lead and the male lead.

5. Rebirth novel, the female lead was pushed off this high building and when she's reborn, she's a total ace. The other big families are encroaching on her family clan and they break off her engagement because she's useless. Female lead is okay with this and has martial arts skills that were carried down the generations from her previous lifetime which help boost the people in her family clan. Her ex-fiance gets tasked with seducing the female lead's step-sister to try to get the martial arts skills eep. She's also an alchemist and makes high quality pills, has a cute pet too.

6. Funny novel again. The female lead's cousin dies and their family wants to keep their influence on the prime minster and hope to offer up another daughter to keep relations with him. Mess ensues because the female lead has just been divorced and doesn't want that but somehow ends up getting bestowed marriage to the fattest prince she has ever seen. The synopsis says that she once thought that all princes were handsome, but this is the first time that she's found out that even the royal gene pool can be disturbed. Before meeting her, all he cared about was cash.
