Shen Zemu tried to help: “Don't you girls all like dolls, like Barbie dolls?
His girlfriend repairs them and makes clothes for them as well.”

It was rare for Shen Zemu to speak so many words in one breath. He was
forced to become more talkative on his cousin's behalf.

Xiang Nuan finally understood: “Is there such a profession?”

“En.” Chen Yinghu nodded.

“It's the first time I've heard anyone repairing dolls for a job. Your girlfriend
is awesome!”

Chen Yinghu bashfully smiled.  

Xiang Nuan discovered that Chen Yinghu's eyes were like those of a deer.
His eyes, though not particularly big, had double-fold eyelids and long
eyelashes, which were rather cute.

However, his skin color was dull yellowish, there were dark circles under
his eyes, and pimples on his chin…...All telltale signs of someone who
stayed up late into the night all the time and didn't have a balanced diet.

Xiang Nuan took out a notebook and a pen from her backpack and carefully
looked at Chen Yinghu: “Hu Ge, can you give me your autograph?”

Chen Yinghu nodded and signed his name on the notebook.

Shen Zemu knew his cousin had bad handwriting. Anyone who saw his
handwriting would think that he hadn't even graduated from grade school.
But when Xiang Nuan saw the signature, it was from the perspective of a
fan. “Hu Ge's signing is so cute, xixi.”

Not again……

Shen Zemu shook his head and pushed the menu to Xiang Nuan: “You
two order something.”

The waiter had already moved onto the other tables.

Xiang Nuan ordered a juice, then handed the menu to Chen Yinghu and
said: “Hu Ge, you know, there's another fan of yours who really wants to
meet you. Too bad he can't make it today.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, in the WeChat fan group 4, his name is ‘Hu Ge's Laugh Lines.'
Do you have any impression about this name?”

Chen Yinghu blankly shook his head: “No.”

“It's quite normal.” Xiang Nuan scratched her neck: “He usually doesn't
talk much.”

Chen Yinghu touched both sides of his nose, quite confused: “I…...
don't have any laugh lines.”

Shen Zemu looked at them as if they were idiots: “Uh, aren't you Hu Ge,
tiger, with the character  ‘w.a.n.g' on your forehead?”[1]

“That's right.”

“Put the two characters together, how do you say them?”

“w.a.n.g, Ba.”[2]

Xiang Nuan: “......” d.a.m.n that Lin Chuyan!

Chen Yinghu quietly looked at Xiang Nuan. Xiang Nuan was so
embarra.s.sed and constantly apologized: “So sorry, Hu Ge. I didn't realize
that he's this mean. I'll kick him out of the group right now!”

“No need to do that.” Chen Yinghu took it in stride: “I, I have many anti-fans.”

Xiang Nuan knew that Chen Yinghu had anti-fans. On Peas TV, all the
stream hosts who were somewhat popular all had anti-fans who would
post many derisive bullet comments. Part of Xiang Nuan's responsibilities
as the moderator of the fan group was to ban posts from anti-fans.

Xiang Nuan felt this time Lin Chuyan had gone too far. She had to teach
him a lesson.

However, Lin Chuyan was still competing right now, she would do that
after he was done with his matches.

Xiang Nuan decided to kick him out first; she couldn't stand to have him
insulting Hu Ge.

Yet, when she located Lin Chuyan's account on the WeChat group, she
discovered that Lin Chuyan had already changed his name to ‘Hu Ge's
Little Tail.”

Wow……

Then she heard Chen Yinghu saying: “I want to visit a friend today.”

“What friend?”

“He has a compet.i.tion today. I want to go root for him.” Chen Yinghu was
becoming more familiar with Xiang Nuan and began to speak more smoothly.

Xiang Nuan grew curious: “Oh? Who is it?”

Chen Yinghu: “His name is Lin Chuyan, also from your school.”

Xiang Nuan: “......”

Shen Zemu: “......”

[1]: The “Hu” (虎) in his name means “tiger.”  The “w.a.n.g,” (王) for “king”,
character is a.s.sociated with tigers as it looks like the marking appears on
a tiger's forehead.  (Though personally I don't really see it).

[2]: Laugh lines in Chinese sort of look like the “ba” character, (八) for eight.  
If you combine the two, w.a.n.g ba (王八), it can refer to a turtle but is usually
used as a very derogatory insult (the closest English word would be “cuckold”).
