Waiwai xuezhang was indeed a person who knew how to handle a tricky situation.
He paused only for a couple seconds, then he was back to his usual self. He walked
towards Xiang Nuan's table, calm and at ease like there was nothing to hide.

The four schoolmates sat down at the same table, awkwardly. Immediately afterwards,
Xiang Nuan and Waiwai almost spoke at the same time: “We aren't like what you think.”

Waiwai bursted out laughing: “Hooray, for mutual understanding.”

Xiang Nuan sat across from Yao Jiamu. They gave each other a long face and didn't
exchange a single word the whole time.

After breakfast, Waiwai and Yao Jiamu went back to school. Xiang Nuan and Lin Chuyan
went to check on Min Lili. Min Lili was back to her lively self again to Xiang Nuan's relief.

While Xiang Nuan was in the hospital, she received a message from Waiwai.

Waiwai: Yao Jiamu got dumped yesterday and is in a bad mood. Whatever she has said
or done, don't take it too seriously. Ha.

Xiang Nuan then understood why Yao Jiamu looked pale and spoke so emotionally
yesterday. It looked like she had confessed to Shen Zemu but was rejected. She was
just venting her anger on Xiang Nuan.

To avoid the two teams from interfering with each other, each team in the finals played
in their own room. Xiang Nuan's team was in a conference room and Shen Zemu's
occupied the Esports Club's office.

During the banning phase, Xiang Nuan's team let Shen Zemu have Han Xin.

Han Xin was Shen Zemu's main champion. Shen Zemu was also the strongest player
in his team.

Xiang Nuan wasn't comfortable with the decision. She asked Lin Chuyan: “Are you
sure about this?”

“I'm sure.”

So they didn't ban Han Xin.

And as expected, Shen Zemu naturally picked Han Xin as his champion.

Both sides chose their champions.  The last pick for Xiang Nuan's team was their
mage. Lin Chuyan locked in as Daji without any hesitation.

From the perspective of Shen Zemu's team, this choice was a joke. Waiwai was
stunned to see the choice.

“Even if he picked Gao Jianli, it would be much better than Daji.” Waiwai said.

A champion like Daji didn't need to move much. She could stay in place and fling
destructive abilities on the enemy. But her fatal flaw was her lack of mobility. She
could easily be hunted down and had low survivability.

Even if the player brought flash with Daji, its cooldown was about two minutes long.
It would be hard for Daji to depend on flash to save her life every time.

As such, in Diamond ranked matches, champions like Daji were used much less
since players were skilled enough to handle other, more powerful, champions. In
the Master tier, it was even rarer to see Daji.

Lin Chuyan's choice of Daji, came as a surprise to Waiwai and his team.

“Let just play our game.” Shen Zemu said.

He meant that Waiwai shouldn't be too concerned about what the other team was
up to.

Waiwai certainly trusted Shen Zemu.

Nevertheless, in the first few minutes after the match started, Shen Zemu died twice.

It was hard to believe.
