Chapter 447: One could See Who was the Better of the Two with just One Look.
That ma.s.sive body of the thunder dragon moved about in the thunderclouds before instantly crashing down onto Ao Chen the demonic dragon.
The thunder dragon’s body was very ma.s.sive, measuring nearly 200 meters long.
Even so, the size difference was still glaringly obvious when compared to Ao Chen the demonic dragon; the thunder dragon seemed to be only half the size of Ao Chen.
Boom!
A terrifying clash took place. Ao Chen had such a hard time evading the attack that the feat seemed near impossible. It was like how Lu Xuan had been trying to evade Ao Chen’s attacks.
The terrifying clash created a frightening shockwave that instantly dispersed that sandstorm.
Everyone from all over the world was able to see through the cameras the two enormous dragons squaring off in that dessert. On one side was Ao Chen the demonic dragon, who was emanating black demonic qi. On the other side was a lightning dragon whose body was entirely made of gold.
The lightning dragon was wreaking havoc on Ao Chen, as its ma.s.sive body was composed of pure, boundless lightning. The lightning dragon immediately broke through Ao Chen’s protecive demonic qi, shattering the demonic dragon’s scales while gouging out a good amount of flesh.
Roar!
Ao Chen roared and lashed out at the lightning dragon in a fit of rage, it tore the lightning dragon apart into bolts of lightning scattered everywhere.
The demonic dragon seemed to be hurt by the Advent of the Thunder Dragon move that Lu Xuan had used. It had deemed what happened to be an utterly unforgivable insult against it.
Wounds from the lightning dragon was seen all over that ma.s.sive body of Ao Chen.
“Come on!” Lu Xuan shouted as he raised the Dragonslayer above his head.
Sword aura instantly washed out all over the place as dark clouds gathered in the sky above him. As the clouds formed, a new lightning dragon was conjured before it struck once more.
The lightning dragon hit Ao Chen before it was able to react in time. While that terrifying thunder dragon was nowhere near as huge as Ao Chen, it was still ma.s.sive.
That newly conjured thunder dragon was no different from the one that came before.
Roar!
Completely enraged, Ao Chen tore down that thunder dragon yet again. In the process, it even bit down on that lightning dragon’s head right away.
However, that only worsened the demonic dragon’s pain even more.
The dark clouds gathered around again at that moment, bringing about yet another lightning dragon.
Lu Xuan stood high in the heavens, looking as if he were he was some sort of G.o.d of lightning.
“Another one!”
Ao Chen was extremely furious. Its desire to tear Lu Xuan apart while the man was still alive could be seen within its ma.s.sive bloodshot eyes.
The formidable fighters from all over the world were just utterly stunned as how deep Lu Xuan’s reserves ran.
It was worth noting that the Advent of the Thunder Dragon move was apparently not something that most people could use. There was no doubt that anyone else in Lu Xuan’s position would have depleted the power reserves, even if they were to be able to go all out and make use of that move once.
On the other hand, Lu Xuan was actually able to use that very move three consecutive times without completely depleting the Spiritual Aether on his body. That feat itself was nothing short of utterly shocking.
Lu Xuan’s reserves were so unimaginably ma.s.sive.
Spectators all over the world watched as Lu Xuan brough down one lightning dragon after another. While Ao Chen continued to tear those attacks apart again and again, an endless stream of lightning dragons just kept coming at him.
Roar!
Ao Chen kept roaring. While it was so powerful that it could keep tearing those thunder dragons apart, he would still be injured even further in the process.
The lightning dragons kept shattering the demonic dragon’s protective demonic qi, gradually raking out its flesh.
Ao Chen was incredibly furious; he had never been at such a disadvantage in battle before. Its cultivation level was far higher than that of Lu Xuan. There was also no doubt that its powers were above those of Lu Xuan, which were only amplified once it fully submitted to its demonic nature.
Even so, Lu Xuan was able to easily suppress it with just a single move: the Advent of the Thunder Dragon.
“Is that truly all you’ve got, Lu Xuan?” Ao Chen roared and asked in fury.
“More than enough to take on the likes of you.”
Every single use of the Advent of the Thunder Dragon cost him ma.s.sive amounts of Spiritual Aether, yet that was where his born Taoism apt.i.tude truly shone.
His Spiritual Aether reserves kept getting replenished. While his reserves still dwindled, it was still deemed within manageable levels.
Boom!
Everyone heard a ma.s.sive rumble then saw Ao Chen tear yet another lightning dragon apart shortly afterwards before it charged straight at Lu Xuan.
“I’m going to tear you apart this time!” Ao Chen roared as it breathed frightening demonic qi around it.
The demonic qi was transformed into lightning filling up the entire place, lashing out at Lu Xuan.
As he amplified his aura to its limits, Lu Xuan shouted, “Kill him!”
The Dragonslayer was being used to its fullest potential as well through all sorts of surreal sword techniques. Every strike packed unimaginably terrifying power.
All of Lu Xuan’s attacks met the lightning blasts head on.
Ao Chen’s mastery of lightning powers was utterly frightening. One could easily tell that Ao Fan’s ability to manipulate of lightning all came from Ao Chen.
Not every dragon needed to inherit lightning powers in their bloodline.
Thunder and lightning powers were some of the most powerful among all kinds of powers, which were often deemed extremely terrifying.
Lu Xuan remained unfazed as he amplified the innate powers of his born Taoism apt.i.tude to its limits, fighting that demonic dragon head on.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Terrifying strikes from both sides clashed head on again and again above the desert. What terrified that old dragon even further was the fact that Lu Xuan never once lost his edge during the battle.
It was able to see how the Lu Xuan’s Spiritual Aether continued to simmer, enabling him to fight at peak performance levels that were even beyond that of the sixth tier of Divine Treasure Realm. That alone made him capable of even fighting those at the seventh tier of Divine Treasure Realm.
All of that raw power combined with Lu Xuan’s extremely rich combat experience and the fearsome powers of the Dragonslayer, had gotten to a point that not even common fighters at seventh tier of Divine Treasure Realm would be able to fight Lu Xuan evenly. When combined with Lu Xuan’s extremely rich combat experience and the fearsome powers of the Dragonslayer, there was so much raw power that even common fighters at seventh tier of Divine Treasure Realm were no match for Lu Xuan.
That was a terrifying scene unlike any other.
Whatever was happening disproved everything the old dragon knew.
The tiers within the Divine Treasure Realm were so vastly different; the level of combat prowess from each tier was an irreconcilably ma.s.sive step-up from the previous one.
Lu Xuan’s a.r.s.enal of techniques, frightening combat intuition, and battle experience allowed him to even defeat common fighters at seventh tier of Divine Treasure Realm.
This human was actually a match for the dragon even when it was in its demonic state.
Common fighters at seventh tier of Divine Treasure Realm who faced such an enemy would have already died by now with blood spilling out of their mouths.
The old dragon wondered just what kind of a monster Lu Xuan was.
It began to even wonder who in this fight was the human and who was the demon.
The fact became gotten even dire severe given that the old dragon had become fully demonic, which made it far more terrifying than it was when it was of the same level as Lu Xuan. Despite that, the old dragon was still unable to do any harm to him.
That’s wht the old dragon was hardly surprised that Lu Xuan was able to corner it in the first place. Its level back then would have made it incredibly easy for it to best any fighter at the sixth tier of Divine Treasure Realm without breaking a sweat.
Despite its prowess, however, it was still the one taking a one-sided beating while it was at the same level as Lu Xuan.
Things had even gotten to a point that Lu Xuan almost managed to kill the old dragon. Had it not been for the old dragon seeing that things took a dire turn and making use of the Great Bloodline Art in response, it would have long died by Lu Xuan’s hands.
Even so, Lu Xuan did not even use anywhere near his true extent of powers back then. The same could not be said for the old dragon. One could see who was the better of the two with just one look.
