Xiang Han was right. On the second day, Zhou Yue Ze returned and he was even personally escorted by his father.
Xiang Han had just woken up and was yawning while walking down the stairs. When he saw the people in the living room, he promptly closed his mouth and regained his usual state of facial paralysis.
Seeing him appear, Zhou Chengxi hastily stood up and walked a few steps forward, reaching out his right hand. His body leaned forward slightly and a smile appeared on his face, “Fifth Master…”
Xiang Han directly evaded him, and he frowned while calling, “Housekeeper Zhang?”
The smile on Zhou Chengxi's face immediately stiffened but he quickly and naturally retracted his hand while apologizing, “Fifth Master, I'm really sorry. This dog son of mine is very arrogant and willful. So, he inadvertently offended you yesterday. It's all my fault as a father, I failed to teach him properly. That's why I brought him here early this morning to apologise to you. Children tend to misbehave, please don't take it to heart.”
Zhou Yue Ze's face sported a handprint and his arms were tied behind his back. At that moment, he was looking at them with dead eyes.
Xiang Han ignored him. He waited for the housekeeper to return before asking, “Who allowed you to let these people in?”
Zhou Chengxi was instantly stupefied, “...”
The Housekeeper was also dumbfounded before he quietly explained, “But the person who came is the Young Master Zhou…” Yesterday you even had people to follow after him to protect him, wasn't it because you had taken a fancy to him?
“Send them to the next room,” Xiang Han interrupted him and turned to look at Zhou Yue Ze. Seeing his hands tied behind his back and his blood had stained the sofa, he instructed again, “Call Doctor Zhong. Also, replace the living room's carpet and sofa.”
The Housekeeper was already used to it and he immediately went off to carry out the orders. Zhou Chengxi was still standing in a daze while Zhou Yue Ze's eyes flashed with slight anger, his chest heaving.
The two were quickly taken away. After Xiang Han was done with his breakfast, he slowly wiped his mouth and issued another command as reservedly as possible, “Add a basket of crab filled soup dumpling tomorrow.”
After ordering so, he discreetly observed the chef's reaction. Seeing that the chef nodded her head without any surprise, Xiang Han relaxed. Afterwards, he started to regret it. He should have ordered another portion of crystal shrimp dumplings.
Zhou Chengxi waited in the other room for more than half an hour, and during this period of time, he warned Zhou Yue Ze once more. However, even after a long time, Xiang Han still did not appear. He began to feel uneasy.
He nervously paced around the room and seeing Zhou Yue Ze's nonchalant expression, he immediately flew into a rage. He scolded, “This time around, if you have really offended Fifth Master Jiang, not only your mother but even the whole Zhou Family will not be able to escape. If you really want the best for your mother, later on, you better obediently admit your mistake.”
When Zhou Yue Ze heard his words, his expression was instantly filled with mockery. What did the Zhou Family's well-being got to do with him? And as for Ji Wei, hah, he had never seen such a mother like her before, sending her own son to h.e.l.l.
Zhou Chengxi saw his expression and became even more furious. As he was about to give him a lesson, Doctor Zhong suddenly pushed the door open with Xiang Han following behind.
Zhou Chengxi briskly lowered his hand and went forward to greet them, “Fifth Master, you're finally here. I have just punished this rascal, and he already knows his mistake…”
Xiang Han raised a hand to interrupt, “You should go back.”
Zhou Chengxi, “Uh…”
Xiang Han hinted at Doctor Zhong to help Zhou Yue Ze untie the ropes and clean his wounds. Turning around, he saw that Zhou Chengxi was still around and said, “I don't like troublesome things. Since you have already sent him over, in the future, he will no longer have any relationship with the Zhou Family.”
Zhou Chengxi hurriedly said, “Fifth Master, don't worry. When I go back, I will post an announcement
in the newspaper to declare that we have severed all ties.” After that, he carefully asked, “That… Fifth Master, the Bay Water Terminal Development Project…”
The ropes on Zhou Yue Ze's arms were released and when he heard this, his knuckles faintly emitted a cracking sound and his fist had to be forcefully pried open by Doctor Zhong.
Xiang Han calmly replied, “Proceed as per normal.”
His meaning was, he will not make things difficult for the Zhou Family. Zhou Chengxi let out a breath of relief, extremely satisfied with what he had heard. Before he left, he still turned around to look at Zhou Yue Ze deeply. Although it was a pity to give up his son, if it helped them form good relations with the Jiang Family, losing him was worth it.
Zhou Yue Ze sat still, allowing Doctor Zhong to toss him about. After Zhou Chengxi left, he laughed coldly, raising his head to look up at Xiang Han, “Are you satisfied now?”
Xiang Han was helpless. The one who sent you here was your father, not me.
Pushing his gla.s.ses up, the lens reflected the cold light and his voice seemed even colder, “You have made a mistake. From the start, I've never done anything, including drugging you.” It was all your father and brother's doing, if you want to blame somebody, blame them.
Zhou Yue Ze understood his meaning, and that was why he was even angrier. Nevertheless, he refused to show any weakness. He snorted coldly, “If it wasn't for your coercion, why would he do such a thing?”
“The Zhou Family got in the way of my business and I retaliated. It's the most natural thing to do. As for your father's attempt to sell his son for mercy, that was his own choice. Even if it wasn't me today, he would still do the same thing.”
Xiang Han's words. .h.i.t his sore spot, rendering Zhou Yue Ze speechless as he hung his head gloomily. Who asked him to be born from a mistress, and who asked him to be of lower standing than Zhou Yue Qing from the moment he was born. That was why his only worth was to be a tool to be used.

Seeing that he no longer refuted him, Xiang Han turned to leave, ordering his housekeeper who had been standing outside the door, “Later on, get him cleaned up, then bring him to my study.”
The housekeeper quickly acknowledged his orders and after Doctor Zhong settled everything, he immediately brought Zhou Yue Ze to
take a bath and even comforted him, “Ever since you came, for your sake, the Master broke off with all of his lovers. You bit him but he didn't get angry and after you left, he got people to follow and protect you… In the twenty years that I've been serving the Jiang Family, this is the first time I've seen the Master care for someone so much.”
Hearing this made him feel even more suffocated. If the housekeeper was not an elderly, Zhou Yue Ze would have long told him to “shut up”.
Half an hour later, Zhou Yue Ze appeared in the study. His expression had calmed down significantly. Judging by his appearance, he seemed to have thought things through. He said, “I can stay by your side.”
Xiang Han was currently practising calligraphy, a habit from his last life. Hearing those words, his hands shook and he looked up at Zhou Yue Ze in surprise. Realising that he had made a mistake, Xiang Han coug
