Chapter 10 . 1: No Regrets Saving Her

“I’m alright . ”

Xuanyuan Mo wiped off the blood from the corner of his lips, his face calm .

“You’re already in such a state and you’re telling me you’re alright . ”

Elder Snow’s face was pained as he looked at Xuanyuan Mo . [This child is Yan Er’s only bloodline and the only kin he had in this world, so he really doesn’t want to see anything happen to him . ]

“Tell me . Why did you forcibly break your seal on a full moon night? You should know very well how severe the consequences are by forcibly breaking the seal . ”

[Having failed to find the Water Spirit Fruit, the only way that will allow him to not change into a wolf form on a full moon night has also gone up in smoke . Looks like he has to quickly find another way to remove the seal in Mo Er’s body . ]

“Great King, you were looking for me?”

“Qing Er has come . ”

Elder Snow looked smilingly at the green clothed young lady standing at the entrance . The green clothed young lady’s name was Li Qing, and was Elder Snow’s sister’s granddaughter .

“Qing Er’s all grown up . Do you have anyone your heart fancies?”

A red flush immediately shot up into Li Qing’s tiny face, and she bashfully lowered her eyes .

[Why is the Great King asking about that? Has he noticed something?]

Elder Snow looked at the charming fair skinned budding beauty, his head nodding in satisfaction .

“How does Qing Er feel about Mo Er?”

Hearing the two words “Mo Er”, Li Qing’s face grew even redder, her dainty jade like hands gripping the hem of her clothes tight as she replied in a voice like a mosquito’s: “Cousin Mo is great . ”

[He just knew that Qing Er would like Mo Er, seeing how outstanding his grandson is . ]

Hearing Elder Snow’s clear ringing laughter, Li Qing was even more embarra.s.sed, but also a lot more relaxed .

Chapter 10 . 2: No Regrets Saving Her

“Qing Er, Mo Er isn’t feeling very well now . Will you be willing to help me look after him?”

“I am most willing to . ” Her voice was delighted .

She had liked him ever since she was very young but he had always kept himself far distant from people which gave her no chance of getting close to him at all . She must definitely make good use of this opportunity this time .

Elder Snow then nodded his head in satisfaction .

“Good, good . Then go pack your things and you can just stay at Mo Er’s residence tonight . It will make it easier for you to take care of Mo Er like this . ”

[Let their feelings slowly develop and he believes that Li Qing’s beauty will surely move Mo Er’s heart . ]

“Yes . ” Li Qing immediately nodded her head happily .

The Mo Residence was located in the easternmost side of the Wolf King Palace, a residence that Elder Snow had specially arranged for Xuanyuan Mo .

It was night, and Xuanyuan Mo was dressed in a black brocade robe like usual as he stood beside the window, staring into the howling wind and snow . [His world seemed to forever be so chillingly cold . He did not see spring, and had not felt any warmth . ]

[Wonder how is she? Is she still on that island?]

He had not thought that she would actually be the Vermillion Bird Empire’s Crown Princess .

It was rumoured that the Vermillion Bird Empire’s Crown Princess possessed beauty that could bring down nations but was born useless trash without any talents, an ornamental vase .

When he recalled how sharp and vicious she had been when she battled the scorpion tailed leopards, her steely resolve when faced against the Qilin, the corners of Xuanyuan Mo’s lips lifted . The people of the world were as blind as ever .

Suddenly, he turned his head to stare incisively at a particular spot .

“Come out . ”

Li Qing had not thought that she would be discovered so quickly and she quickly went walking in from outside the door, her voice calling out sweetly: “Big Brother Mo . ”

Xuanyuan Mo looked at Li Qing, his brows creased together .

“Who are you?”

That cold and unfamiliar gaze caused Li Qing’s body to turn cold from head to toe .

He did not remember her . He did not even know who she was . Hadn’t she just spoken to him yesterday? Although he had ignored her, but she had at least introduced herself to him .

Sensing the ever growing chill exuding out from him, Li Qing recollected herself and put on a sweet smile all over again .

“I am Li Qing . We met when we were very young . The King asked me to come take care of you . ”

Xuanyuan Mo’s brows knitted up even more tightly . “Get out . ”

“But… . . ”

“Get out . Don’t force me to do it for you . ”

The voice was chillier than ice and Li Qing unconsciously shivered .

Li Qing clenched her hands up tightly into fists but she went out of the room helplessly in the end .

With a boom, the room’s door slammed shut .

Outside the door, Li Qing’s fists were tightly clenched as she stomped her feet in frustration .

[Xuanyuan Mo, I will definitely make you fall in love with me . ]
