_Gentlemen_--For the last year and a half I was troubled with Nervous Debility. I tried some medicine that I bought from the druggist, which did me little or no good; so, hearing of the World's Dispensary Medical a.s.sociation, of Buffalo, I wrote them about my case, and in reply, they said they were sure they could cure me. At that time I was weak in my arms and legs, had poor sight and, worst of all, I was very nervous and bashful. I could not sleep at night and feel refreshed in the morning. _Gentlemen_--I had been out of health for a period of about three years.

Suffered with pains in the head, catarrh, chills, fever, nervousness, and general debility. Spent about all the money I had in order to obtain relief, but received little, if any good. I was scarcely able to work, when in July, 1887, I wrote to your a.s.sociation, describing my case. You replied, advising me, and prescribing a course of treatment, which you sent to me. After taking but a part of these medicines I began to feel a great deal better; could sleep very much better and was able to resume work as usual, but still suffered some pain in head, and my buck was lame and weak.
