Volume 1 Chapter 24
“The Emperor has arrived!”
Upon hearing this voice, the people in the room froze for a moment. Leng Jiu slightly leaned back, her eyes filled with desire, her tender skin blushing enticingly, as if a pinch could make water drip out. She looked at him, her face full of pent-up desire after being interrupted, but her smile became even more radiant!
“Why stop?” she asked.
Long Yueli lowered his head and bit her lip, his voice husky with desire, “You vixen!”
Leng Jiu chuckled, her delicate hand reaching into his already disheveled collar, directly touching his smooth and hot skin. After sliding it a few times, she found a small protuberance and teasingly flicked it twice. “Thinking about it?”
Long Yueli’s fox-like eyes darkened even more, his throat rolling as his voice became thick with desire, but he still had a trace of clarity. “d.a.m.n it! Little vixen, if you keep teasing, do you believe I’ll really take you right here?”
Leng Jiu heard the approaching footsteps getting closer and chuckled lightly. “Aren’t you afraid of being seen by him?”
Long Yueli pressed down on her softly, venting his frustration. “If you’re not afraid, why should I be?”
As he spoke, The Emperor had already arrived at the door, but was stopped by Lu Chang. “Your Majesty! The Empress Dowager is bathing!”
The Emperor’s steps indeed halted, and he spoke to Leng Jiu through the door, “I want to see the Empress Dowager!”
Leng Jiu pushed away Long Yueli’s hand. “The Empress Dowager is bathing. Whatever it is, Your Majesty can wait to discuss it later!”
“But I don’t want to wait!” The Emperor said, but then he paused, seeming surprised by his own words.
“Hehe! If Your Majesty doesn’t mind, please come in!” Leng Jiu said nonchalantly. Long Yueli’s eyes narrowed at her words. He lowered his head and nibbled on Leng Jiu’s collarbone, lightly biting and licking with his tongue, causing a tingling sensation that made Leng Jiu lose her strength. Long Yueli supported her soft body, smiling contentedly. Leng Jiu glared at him angrily, calling him a rotten man!
Outside the door, there was silence for a moment because of Leng Jiu’s voice. In the end, The Emperor’s footsteps gradually faded away, without a response or any indication of why he came here!
“It’s probably your actions tonight that surprised him, so he came to ask about it! Or perhaps… he still has feelings for you!” Long Yueli leaned against her, teasing her while taking advantage of the situation.
“What does it matter if he has feelings for me or not?” Leng Jiu raised her eyebrows impatiently, then chuckled as she thought of something. “Your sour tone just now, could it be jealousy?”
Long Yueli’s face darkened. “Do you think that’s possible?”
“It’s better not be!” Leng Jiu rolled over, pressing him to the side. She lifted her hand to cover his eyebrows and eyes, their noses touching, lips brushing against each other’s, her voice alluring yet cold. “I don’t mind making you my man, but you’ll never get my heart, or make me belong to only you. Because, you’re not qualified, or perhaps, I have no heart. Men to me are just playthings!”
Long Yueli raised an eyebrow, a hint of anger in his eyes that even he didn’t notice. “Is that so? Could it be that you treated Emperor Yu’er in the same way before? Or were you heartbroken by Emperor Yu’er, so you willingly fell into depravity?”
“So what if I did? If you don’t like it, stay away from me in the future!” With that, she pushed him away, leaped out of the water, grabbed the silk cloth prepared nearby, wrapped it around her body, and left without looking back. Just as she was about to open the door, she suddenly stopped in her tracks, turned around, and smiled enchantingly, “Women are poison, so the King of Mystery would do well to control his heart. Otherwise, in the end, it’s you who will suffer!”
