CHAPTER 93
Outside of the ‘houses’ and inside of the General’s land, I send out a star and searched through a few of the ‘houses’, before I finally found the General’s. While I had been doing this, Naruto had sort of…Disappeared…
Seeing that the animals here were quite immense, I let him go to do whatever he wanted, surely attempting and probably saving the General’s life, could gain Naruto some supper…
Finally, I looked at the General himself and blinked, he was in such a bad shape that I started to get doubts of healing him…
He really was so sick. Honestly, how hasn’t he died yet!
I remembered some of the books from my previous life, stating that a good foundation had made it harder to kill someone, but I never thought it possible until today!
Appearing right beside the General, I get comfortable beside him on the bed, and touch his head.
Within moments of searching, I could see so much…Trouble!
It was literally death that had come upon this man’s body. His body was decaying…And his dantian seemed absolutely helpless!
His meridians looked like they had already been hit and seemed like a brittle piece of rock, that had started to crumble to pieces.
Was it even worth it!? Could I even help this person!? What the h.e.l.l was this!?
Frowning, I go through more areas of his body and found myself at a loss.
Where was I to start? Everywhere was dark and breaking!
Sighing, I remembered the ‘sweat net’ and decided to do the best I could at using the knowledge that I had.
Taking the black dots, that seemed more like ash, it was harder to keep it in the ‘sweat net’, not like other normal black dots. I focused more intently, zooming in even further then before and grabbing those slippery dots and teleported them out, before I lost them again.
Having water close by, I had to continuously use it, to build a new net every time I had teleported the one with the black ash out of the body and into an empty bowl close by.
After the General’s heart was completely freed from whatever it was that had attacked him, I didn’t use my spiritual essence to replenish it straight away, to what it had been before. It was really a strange type of sickness…It was as though this sickness wanted to get as much as it could elsewhere, before his heart stopped beating!
Racing through the body, I hastily tried to rid of this ash, as I could see it very slowly wanting to go back to the places I had already cleared!
It was hard work, as I focused upon the lungs, the blood stream and nerves next.
If I could leave what could be left and replenish his heart and lungs, it should be okay. But, still having doubts, I continued to get rid of the ash blackness instead, knowing now that it was still trying to attack the body.
After half an hour, someone found me and rushed off. But by this time, I had only done the General’s spinal cord, lungs and heart!
I needed a lot more time!
People came running in and wanted to take me away, but I did not move. After they spent a time yelling at me, they became scared and wanted to remove me, just in case I was doing something wrong to the General.
No one seemed to notice that there was a bowl that was being filled with a black substance, that could imply my innocence, if they had thought more thoroughly about why I was there.
A steward had been called upon and when he was just about to remove me from the bed…
…It was then that a very tired lady came in and told them to stop.
I didn’t know what had occurred, but I found myself in silence once again, a few minutes after. I was sure that the lady that had come in, was indeed the same one that had been kowtowing in front of the ‘hospital’.
Even though she had arrived back half an hour ago, she had been crowded by a few people and she had also wanted to have a drink.
Her maidservants had wanted her to rest, but she had been determined to see her husband, only to find quite a few people had come here while she had drunk some water.
She hadn’t thought to show the note that she had received, due to her tiredness, but she had vouched that she will take responsibility for this person and that they were all to leave the room.
