Wu Haoyuan was filled with grief and indignation. He covered his crotch with both of his hands as he faced the ice cold Lake Cui, and shouted in the chilly wind whilst shuddering. 

His voice trembled as he shouted: “I am an idiot! I am an idiot! I am an idiot!”

He then looked back at Shi Lei with puppy eyes, as if he wanted to know whether Shi Lei was satisfied or not.

Shi Lei’s interest slightly dulled. He waved his hands and gestured at Wu Haoyuan’s friends to wrap Wu Haoyuan with the towel they had prepared.

Wu Haoyuan did not dare pretend to be cool anymore. He bowed towards his friends and said: “Thank you, please help me get my clothes!” Then he strode back to his b.u.mblebee.

He got in his car and turned on the air conditioner, but he still shivered at the cold.

After Wu Haoyuan wiped his body and changed his clothes, Shi Lei walked towards his b.u.mblebee, he bent down slightly and lightly knocked on the car window. When Wu Haoyuan turned around, he was frightened at the sight of Shi Lei’s face. 

Shi Lei was now a demon in Wu Haoyuan’s eyes. From today onwards, he would be afraid to see Shi Lei. If you want, you can take a bath and eat something there.” As Shi Lei said this, he turned around and walked towards Wei Qing’s Maserati.

Wei Qing walked over with a maintained graceful smile and asked: “Was it fun?”

“I thought it would be pleasurable. But when I actually did it, I felt like it wasn’t too interesting. This won’t happen again.”

Wei Qing nodded and said: “Don’t humiliate him anymore.”

Shi Lei shook his head earnestly, “All those resentment had already disappeared the moment he went in the water. The reason I called him to go was really to let him take a hot bath.” Seeing that Wei Qing smiled ruminatively as if he did not believe him, Shi Lei added: “This is also to let him experience what it means to be really wealthy. I believe that in the future, he would not wield his family’s small foundation to look down on everything in the world.”

Wei Qing beamed and walked back towards the Koenigsegg. This time, he did not waste this 20 million divine car. As he stepped on the accelerator, this supercar equipped with a V8 engine that could reach more than 1000 horsepower let out an exceptionally wild roar, ripping everyone’s eardrums as it dashed towards the other side of the mountain.  

The rest of the cars followed behind it with Shi Lei at the end.

He turned around and glanced at the b.u.mblebee which was still in the same spot. As for the other five cars, they all turned around and drove down the mountain. They did not believe that Shi Lei and Wei Qing would really invite them to  the c.o.c.ktail party. Moreover, they were dandy youngsters of Wu Dong city so they knew about the single mansion that stood on the top of Qing Long mountain. That place belonged to one of the richest and most powerful people in Wu Dong. Although that person was never on the Forbes rank, nor was he on Hurun’s Millionaire Rank, but if he wanted to, he would definitely make it to the top 5 wealthiest people in the country. There was definitely more than one rich person like this in China.

Naturally, it was impossible for Shi Lei to have any kind of relationship with that mansion. But even if it was only borrowed, wasn’t it enough to explain everything? Amongst them, none of their families would have the opportunities to see the richest man except in very big occasions like banquets or charity parties. But even if they saw him, he would simply ignore them. In that millionaire’s eyes, the families in which they looked up to was invisible to him. 

The people in those five cars, who just drove down the mountain, were all contemplating about the same question: who was Shi Lei. What was the ident.i.ty of this person whom Wu Haoyuan provoked, and who was almost invisible for the past three years in Wu Dong University? How much of the background information which Wu Haoyuan had on Shi Lei was real? They wondered why Shi Lei kept such a low profile. 

If Shi Lei knew about what this group of people were thinking, he would probably laugh because he really had no background. He was only modest because he could only be modest.

The Koenigsegg steadily approached the villa, or more appropriately, the mansion. The mansion’s heavy iron gate opened at the car’s approach. A middle-aged man, who wore a set of perfectly ironed traditional Chinese clothing, stood beside the gate.

He slightly nodded at the Koenigsegg. The Koenigsegg didn’t dare to dash in anymore, but returned to the speed of 20km/h from before.

Soon, the other supercars followed inside one by one. The middle aged man, who was most likely the butler of the mansion, did not even blink once. Although he was only a butler, but all these luxurious cars which could not be afforded by ordinary people seemed to be normal in his eyes. 

But when the Maserati entered last, the butler’s pupils widened slightly as if he was observing Shi Lei, but it was only for a second. The butler could not see Shi Lei’s face clearly due to the privacy function of the side windows. 

Although Shi Lei knew that this place was organised by the Black Card, it was also his first time  in this mansion, and the enormous size of the mansion startled him.

If he was not guided, Shi Lei would’ve never known that there was a mansion hidden at the peak of Qing Long mountain.

How big was this place? Shi Lei felt like it was too hard for him to estimate. The courtyard itself probably exceeded 450 hectares. At the center of the courtyard was a two story white building. It was plain without any overly extravagant decorations, but it manifested its owner’s tastes and status.

From eyeing the building, the mansion should be around 70,000 - 110,000 sq. feet, it was almost as big as a large supermarket. Using numbers to describe it was not as shocking, but in comparison to a normal 3LDK residence from the city, which was around 4,500 sq. feet, two apartment units would be around 9,000 sq. feet, three units would be around 13,500 sq. feet. The area of this mansion is the equivalent of three to four apartment buildings combined together. This scale was simply too frightening.

The lawn occupied the majority of the courtyard. Even though it was already winter, it was still green as if it was not affected by the seasons.

But there were no flowers that could resist the changes of seasons on the wall as Shi Lei had imagined, but rather, it was covered with withered ivy that was no longer green from the bleak weather of winter. 

There were a few tall trees planted on the lawn in a scattered manner. Shi Lei, who knew a bit about plants, have noticed that all of the trees were fruit trees. He was only able to distinguish the pear, apple, and cherry trees, and he did not know the others.

There was an empty s.p.a.ce in front of the building and everyone parked their cars there. After the fuerdai got off the car and entered the mansion together, they felt the grandness of the mansion.

As Shi Lei walked up the stairs, he saw that there were flower ponds on both sides and they were filled with different kinds of plants that were arranged delicately. There were a few flowers which he did not recognise that provided a sense of vitality.

The others had already entered but Wei Qing stood in front of the door, waiting for Shi Lei. After Shi Lei climbed up the stairs, he draped his arms around Shi Lei’s shoulder and said: “I called the others just now and they should be here in 15 minutes. I’ll trouble you as today’s host to go to the kitchen and tell them to serve the cold food. Let me give you a head up. Don’t go wild with the others. They usually restrain themselves. When they first arrived, they had reverence for this mansion in their hearts. But once they let loose, you may not be able handle their craziness.”
