He suddenly became embarra.s.sed by his own confession. Tatsumi pressed his hands against his cheeks that continued to burn as he could still feel the comforting sensation where he had touched him. 



Clack, he sensed something falling behind him. He had been hearing those sort of sounds in his room lately. Even if he turned around, Tatsumi’s eyes saw nothing. Besides, he lived alone, so it wasn’t like there was anyone else there. That’s why he didn’t turn around today either. He still reflexively felt the urge to do so even now, but there was no way he could investigate. Even as he thought that, Tatsumi felt a presence that shouldn’t be there lick up his back. He frowned unconsciously. There were no footsteps. No sound of anyone breathing. Still, he felt as though someone was there. He could somehow at least make that out. 

—It was the same a sighted person talking about sensing a presence from the ceiling when they wash their hair, or feeling as though they saw someone behind them when they looked into a mirror.
