They informed their dorm mates before they left, leaving behind a present for each of them.

In the headmaster's office, they notified him of their leave. The headmaster agreed right away, excusing them from cla.s.ses until they came back. They then headed off towards each of the nine peaks, speaking to each peak master before they left.

On the Battle peak, they didn't see the old peak master anywhere. Just as they arrived at the exit, and were about to leave, purple lightning flashed before their very eyes.

"I see that you're heading off again." a hoa.r.s.e voice echoed into their eardrums. It was obvious that the peak master was the one who spoke.

"En, we wanted to inform you before we left." Ye Qin replied.

"No need, I already know. Let me give you a small gift." the peak master added. Suddenly, two flashes of thunder appeared, aiming for their hands.

In the blink of an eye, two wine gourds appeared in their hands. "Thank you." the two brothers thanked, as they left the Battle peak.

Without looking at what it was, they could tell by the fragrance coming off from within. They stored it inside their storage s.p.a.ce, as they headed for the Medicine peak, which was also the last of the nine peaks they needed to visit.

"Good luck, I hope you succeed in your journey." the peak master said. His granddaughter by his side, seeing the three of them off.

Ye Qin, w.a.n.g Tao, and Long Bing Rong nodded as they left the peak. Outside the academy grounds, they took a cab, sending them off.

Inside the cab, Ye Qin was texting on his smart.w.a.tch. On the other side, the person receiving his texts was his father. The texts he sent went along the lines of; 'Father, please tell mother that I may not be able to return for New Years. I'll try my best to return as quickly as possible. Remember to take care of your health as well.'

As he sent messages to his father, w.a.n.g Tao could be seen doing the same. "I'm done telling my parents, my dad said that my mom was complaining about it, but there's nothing she can do, so now my dad is feeling her wrath…"

"It must be tough on uncle w.a.n.g." Ye Qin replied. "It's pretty much the same for me." he added.

"En, they've been married for decades, it shouldn't be anything major." w.a.n.g Tao nodded in agreement.

As for Long Bing Rong, since she had already gained permission, she didn't seem to need to report to her parents. As Ye Qin thought about this, he recalled the image and voices of her parents.

Her father was tall and handsome, while her mother was beautiful. Neither of them had white hair, neither of them had white hair, so he wondered why she did. The question had lingered in his mind for many years, even with her here now, he knew it was best not to ask.

"You're right about that, I wish you a safe journey. I see that miss Long is coming with you this time." Guard A noticed.

Long Bing Rong nodded. "Well, you should head off now, we won't disturb you any further. Good luck." the two guards said, as they let the three enter.

Inside, the building was as busy as usual. The three of them quickly scanned their pa.s.ses, as they were warped to the other side, thousands of meters across the Atlantic Sea.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Upon arriving on the other side, the trio walked by the military base, where the soldiers were doing drills as per usual. Walking by, the soldiers who had seen them before glanced their way without saying or waving at them.

After all, they were soldiers, they required discipline and couldn't act out of order, unlike the guards who had a much laxer job. Once they left the military base, by quite a bit, Ye Qin called out the Qiulong and Yinglong.

w.a.n.g Tao and himself jumped on, while Long Bing Rong summoned the Dark Star Dragon and sat on its back. The dragons took flight, as the three of them flew far into the distance at maximum speed.
