Status Meister Chapter 3

About 5 minutes after I left Kash, I arrived at the forest. As soon as I arrived at the forest, the white point and the green point on the map overlapped.

When I looked at my feet, there was obviously a different type of gra.s.s that was growing there. What are the gra.s.s that is growing in this vicinity? I pulled it out of the ground to check it.

I try to put a small medicinal herb gra.s.s of nearly the same type as before into the inventory.

I see. Is it the number of leaves? The first herb gra.s.s that I collected had 4 leaves so it counted as 4, while the last one had 2 leaves, so it counted as 2?

It is possible to collect this in a bundle. First, let’s try to verify how much I can possibly stack in my inventory. so let’s continue collecting.

I have been triumphantly picking up the herbs for about 30 minutes before I became exhausted.

Because this is 800 copper, does it become 8 silver? It’s hard to keep kneeling in a position for a long period of times, but it’s very easy way to earn money when you are a low ranked adventurer!

When I was calculating the money, when I heard a sound behind me.

When I took a dagger out of a sheath, a brown creature of around 40 centimeters in length came out in-between the trees and plants. At the place that I heard the sound when I turned around I  was holding the dagger cautiously.

The rabbit stuck it’s head on the dagger, and immediately died.

[Eh!? What this!? Self skewer!]

Ahahaha, That was foolish? It came out and killed itself without permission.. what…? Even though I didn’t do anything.

However, after laughing at the situations when I calmed down, I grew a little pale when I saw the blood splatter.

A sense of guilt for killing an animal is big even when I calm down after I laughed.

In addition, the monster of the game should drop material, and this fellow is just dead. Is it not a monster after all?

I see. When it isn’t put in my inventory, it doesn’t become an item! But with this I know that a rabbit is a monster! This is good!

Even if it isn’t a monster, there is a possibility that it can become an item, but if so, I lose. There is no helping it.

If I had let that fellow jump into my chest, and if was careless I would have been killed by it!

The rabbit is a monster. Well, it is decided.

So I continued to use the dagger, to collect the remaining herbs.

Several rabbit attacked me as I was gathering the herbs, but this time without hestiating I killed them because know that I know they are monsters, it is possible to subdue them without worrying.

Well, I only stab you and.(TN: だって、刺すだけだし。)

And I noticed the meat doesn’t drop as much as the skin does, this mean that every time I kill them I have a 100% chance to get skin but not the meat. This information also very useful.

In addition, when I was wondering around the vicinity picking the medical herbs for another 30 minutes.The number of possession of medical herbs finally exceeded 99. That’s when I noticed that I have reached the limit of how much I can have in a stack.

It seems to be able to stack up to 99 as expected. I have collected approximately 100 pieces in one hour. When I think about it, isn’t it a hourly wage of 1,000 yen.

I have defeated about 10 wild rabbits, to confirm it I checked the status.

From time to time, when I was killed the with wild rabbits, I would get hurt a little. But collecting the medical herbs in itself was very simple.

The result of spending several hours collecting the medical herb was very good Because night was approaching, I should be heading back to the town.

When I reached the gate at last, I was welcomed by Kash.

[Yea, It seems that you came back safely. And you aren’t injured? Were you able to proctect yourself with the dagger that I gave you?]
