"Well, as good as you could expect, he has been placed in the first rank due to family influence, but the prediction is that he will maintain it without any worry. He declined to be Cla.s.s President but declared his support for the person that got the role. He also won a fight and is now ranked 183 within the Fight Club, he has also been the first within his year to gain any Achievement Points, and 10 at that."
"Hmmm, not bad indeed."
"Do not worry, as soon as they begin to be tested, and he aces one after the other, his points will climb much higher than the rest of his cla.s.smates."
"Good, we have a lot betting on him."

"Long A!", a voice shouted through the headset, Ace was playing another compet.i.tive game, but this time, he was playing with a squad of three. They had met two games ago when they ended up playing together, and they were surprised at Ace's skill. All three of them were using Smurf Accounts [A/N: When a high ranked player creates a new account, usually to improve his over K/D/A (kills/deaths/a.s.sists) ratios], and they were now attempting to climb back to their original ranks. It was hard for them since most of the time they were grouped with people that were not playing seriously or just did not care, and winning 3 v 5 was hard, however, with Ace, they just had to win 4 v 5 if their last teammate was not playing seriously or properly. This was doable, especially with Ace's ridiculous aim. This match, they had been grouped with someone that almost instantaneously left the game, so they had a bot on their team. They could leave it at sp.a.w.n and if someone died, they could then use him again.
In this way, they had won their last three games, and Ace had finally made it into Master Guardian Elite. The other three guys were just Master Guardian 1 and 2 on their old accounts, but with Ace, they had been able to climb higher. However, this was the end of the road, from here on, it was only possible to win games with a well-coordinated team that could communicate. It was also important to have good skills, but Ace was not worried about that. For now, Ace would simply focus on playing normal games, trying to improve his map awareness even more.
Tomorrow, he would also go to school, and check out the videogame club, he wished to find a team to play Rainbow Six Siege with, even if it was only at the start.

As expected, the day had gone without any issues, he had been placed in the Rank 1 cla.s.s for the subjects he had had today, Literature, Maths, Biology, Physics and History. The teachers seemed competent and keen to teach, which improved the overall mood of the cla.s.s, they had each explained their curriculums for the year, and any clubs or activities related to the subject. In every subject, their cla.s.s was given an invitation to join their club, their Rank 1 membership allowed them to forgo any test they may have prepared. Apart from Ace, not many students were actually placed in Rank 1 for all the cla.s.ses they had had today. The only people were a dark-haired boy with gla.s.ses that was not in Rank 1 Homeroom, and then Sophia, Amy and another few people. Some others seemed to be better at specific subjects, Chad was in Rank 1 for Literature and History, whilst Trace seemed good at Maths and Physics.
The teachers had also informed them that a test would be conducted at the end of the week for every subject and that from that they would begin to be ranked. Ace would ensure to score perfectly in every test, he wished to keep the Rank 1 spot, the respect from teachers and students was well worth it, and if anything happened, it would be a good get out of jail free card.
He left his History cla.s.s after speaking to the teacher for a few minutes, he wished to reiterate that any History related club would surely be a great fit for him and that if needed, he would reduce his workload accordingly.
Ace laughed at this while he walked through the hallways, halfway through the Foreign Languages hallway, however, a group of girls and boys stopped him, they seemed to be older than him by a few years.
"Hey, Ace! You may not know us but we are the Bang Group, we usually are in charge of holding parties for every year in the school, from freshmen to seniors, and we usually arrange all proms and school parties. We are hosting a Welcome To School party this weekend on the top floor of the Maryland Hotel. We were wondering if you would like to come? We only invited the top 5 ranked people in the freshmen year, and the top 20 of the soph.o.m.ore year, but for the juniors and seniors it's an open invitation.", the girl that spoke to him was a good-looking brunette, and her smile was wide, stretching through her face. Ace also noticed that the smile seemed to be well-intended, the eyes shone and squinted.
"Cool, I'll come, what's the theme?"Ace had never been to a party like this, but he a.s.sumed there would be one, he also thought it would be a good idea to go, he did not drink, but the inebriation of the older students would give him a chance to speak to them and get an idea on what to expect in the future years.
"Great! The theme is school uniform, but most people don't really care as long as there is alcohol and music, so don't worry too much about it."
"Ok, thanks for the invitation!", Ace said excitedly, he was not really that excited, but he was happy to know that he had already caught the attention of the older students. He had not told anyone about his ranking, but they probably a.s.sumed it or checked the school records. Either way, it was fine for him, it was not a big deal anyway. Now, he would have to ask his grandmother for permission to go, and that could be a problem.
