Misha found out that they attended on the same school however, Lyndon was ahead of one year.
When she described Lyndon before, she can say he's a pathetic lame man but he excel in academics. The Lyndon she have seen now is completely opposite of him before.
He was pale, thin and wore gla.s.ses not thicker than 1 inch. He's a complete geek. It is like a complete 180 degrees of shift. No one will believe that he was a lame man back in his high school years.
Being the top of the cla.s.s, Misha and Lyndon often meet on library to study. Lyndon helped her on various lessons and she coped up with it really fast. She was thankful to him for teaching her. She offered to treat him to dinner at her home on weekends before she trained. Lyndon didn't reject any invitations from her. He will gladly accept those treats she offered. He gave her smiles oftentimes. A bright and dazzling smile just for her.
Everytime Lyndon smiled at her, she became red. Her face became red as tomato and her heart began to palpitate wildly. She did not fully understood why she behaved like that. It was later that year.
***
It was Sat.u.r.day morning. The usual time Lyndon came over to her house to help her study and in return she would treat her. That was their usual routine since they came to know each other. However, that day, Lyndon stood up their supposed study time. He didn't came as usual and that made Misha upset. She felt pain in her chest. It was as if her heart was butchered a hundred times. She cried.
She didn't know why but she suddenly recalled all her experiences with him. She felt happy and her school life became a day she would look up to with excitement. She then realized she changed. She let her guards down towards him and let him occupy a s.p.a.ce in her life.
After a while, she cried even harder. She knew that Lyndon had a special meaning in her dull life.
Misha isn't the type of girl that mope around over a heartache. She wasn't even sure. That night, she texted Lyndon why he didn't come. His reply confirmed everything to her. He said in his text that he had a date with his girlfriend. He did asked forgiveness in the message and Misha replied that it was okay. She even appologized to him for taking up his time to help her with her studies.
It was the last text message she sent to Lyndon. She blocked his number on her phone and evaded him even school. She was hurt by the fact that Lyndon had a girlfriend and he did not even shared it with him.
To her, maybe, atleast she could guard her heart and not let herself be a fool. But all was late, she had fallen inlove with the man she thought of being patethic and lame.
She experienced a heartbreak even before being confessing it.
