Tyr moved his hand down to Macha's waist and caressed the swell of her hips. Macha rose onto her elbows so she could reach his lips, but he avoided her and moved down to lightly skim his mouth across the nape of her neck. Macha moved her head back, exposing her soft throat to him. He trailed light kisses along her neck, creating a hot pathway up to her earlobe.
He loved her long ears and the sweet smell of her hair. Tyr darted his tongue along the top of her ear. He followed his teasing by softly blowing on her ear. The sensation made Macha close her eyes and lean her head towards him, yearning for his kisses. Tyr pushed her down against the mattress and savored how sweet her lips tasted from the rum.
She used her fingers to lightly trail down his spine. She wanted to go lower, but her arms did not reach. Macha was about to move down further when Tyr grabbed her wrists and pinned them firmly against the mattress above her head.
Tyr held Macha's wrists with one hand and slid her silk gown up to her waist. He moved his head down to kiss the red silk fabric that covered her b.r.e.a.s.t.s and tugged the strings on her lace underwear. The bows untied and he shoved the fabric down to her knees.
Tyr felt Macha try to move her arms but he held them still. His actions filled her eyes with desire and she pressed her body against his. He moved to bite her lower lip and teased her in a husky voice, "I want to hear you call out my name like this morning." He released Macha's wrists and moved down between her knees.
As his lips and hands teased her, Macha lifted her hips off the mattress. "Tyr... I...," she could barely speak. She was hot and dizzy from his movements. Tyr's fingers delved deeper and his tongue slid across her skin. His light sucking motion caused her to come. "Tyr, please!" she begged.
The desperation in Macha's voice was what Tyr had been waiting for. He flipped her over and moved the straps of her chemise off her shoulders. He slipped the fabric down her body, and the silk fell onto the mattress. She got up onto her hands and the arch of her back filled him with antic.i.p.ation. His breath quickened as Macha raise her hips and looked over her shoulder at him. Her lips were wet and swollen and she panted from her earlier climax.
Tyr moved his hand, stroking her slowly at first. She was already warm and wet from earlier and he enjoyed the soft feel of her skin. As her excitement built up again, Macha moved feverishly with his hands. She moaned with pleasure and his body throbbed for her.
Macha needed Tyr inside her. She turned around and kissed his chest, moving her hands down so she could release his long shaft. "Give it to me," she pleaded as she lowered her head down. He gripped her hair and his green eyes were dark with desire. Macha looked up at him and swirled her tongue around his length. She liked how his lips part and as she stared into her eyes.
He tilted his head back, trying to hold back. Tyr did not expect Macha to do this to him. Her mouth engulfed him in its wet heat and he had to hold himself back. He felt his pressure increasing, and he knew he would not please her if he let her continue. "Turn around and get on your hands and knees," he grunted.
Macha obeyed, and he spread her legs wider. Tyr moved his tongue along her spine and he slowly penetrated her. She was so tight and wet he had to push hard because she threatened to force him out. She let out a loud moan and screamed his name.
When Tyr entered her, he filled her completely. He moved slowly at first, letting her get used to him. His pace increased and filled her with a strong burning pa.s.sion that made her primitive instincts take over. Macha's skin tingled and she could not stop herself from moving with him. She heard Tyr say he was going to go deeper. His hips pounded against her and the pleasure of his entirety caused all the pressure that had built up to release.
Macha's body erupted with pulsating bursts and she shuddered with pleasure. She moaned things in her language that Tyr did not understand, but he heard her call his name a few times. He slowed his rhythm until she calmed down. After she laid down, Tyr moved to lay next to her. He was glad he had pleased her.
Macha was dizzy from coming twice. When she grazed her eyes across Tyr's long muscular body, she saw that he had not been satisfied. Leaning over, she nibbled his earlobe before she stretched her legs over his hips. He moaned as she moved his hands along her body while lowering herself onto him. She went gently at first but increased her pace like he had. Tyr tilted his head back and ground her on top of him, helping her set the pace.
"Macha," Tyr called her name desperately. He did not expect her to care about him. She tightened around him and he knew she was coming again. Her rough moans excited him. He held himself back until she began to shake. It felt good to release at the same time as she did. Macha slowed down and leaned back, resting against his bent knees. Tyr admired the soft curves of her b.r.e.a.s.t.s and how the wind played with her hair. He lowered his hips and gently laid her down next to him.
Tyr kissed her hair and held her close. In his mind, he told her he loved her. Macha gave him so much pleasure tonight that he was scared he was dreaming. Her breathing softened, and he realized she was fast asleep. "I love you," he whispered and closed his eyes.

Tyr stood in front of Freyr's desk. The trip back from Jimbaran went smoothly since they knew Macha suffered from motion sickness. He would have liked to keep her in the room, but Unai had been on the airship as well. Instead of making love the whole time, they watched shows and visited the art galleries that the airship offered.
Freyr read the report on the drug Purple Rain that his cousin delivered. He put the folder down with a sigh and paced the room. This was not something he wanted to deal with right now. Two of the city-states, Kochi and Toowoomba, which neighbored Ma.r.s.eille, were talking about war and tension seemed high in the area. He dedicated a lot of time trying to keep his country out of their fight while not making enemies with either one.
If this report had been another sort of problem, he would not feel pressured to deal with it, but they could not ignore drug problems. Freyr looked out of the window and thought back to when Ma.r.s.eille first won its independence. They had been a lot younger back then and still saw the world as their oyster; they were ready to take up any challenge and had convictions in the fights they fought. Enemies and problems seemed black and white. Freyr did not have to worry about the decisions he made because everyone convinced him that he could do no wrong.
Freyr remembered when his sister, Frigg, died in the war. Her lover, Arawn, stood as a pillar of strength for him. He looked up to Arawn and put that man on a pedestal. He strongly shaped Freyr's perceptions on what it was to be a good man. It crushed all of his boyish perceptions when he found out that Arawn was the lead figure behind the drug problems which plagued Ma.r.s.eille's people back then.
Tyr studied Freyr's reactions. He knew his cousin had bad memories of the effects drugs had on Ma.r.s.eille. Wanting to pull his cousin from his thoughts, he asked, "What do you want to do about this?" He did not want to sit back and watch the city they loved fall prey to a drug like this.
The sound of Tyr's voice pulled Freyr from his memories. He turned around, his blue eyes set with conviction. "I need you to kill the people who were going to accept this shipment. Like last time, do it in secret. Don't let word get out about this drug. The last thing we need is for news of this drug to hit the underground."
Since Freyr and Tyr were close, he relied on his cousin to do the dirtier tasks that the city needed done. They both understood that some topics needed to be kept a secret and Tyr volunteered to do these sorts of jobs.
The pay from these jobs had been one reason Tyr had been able to start his guild, and he appreciated that Freyr trusted him. The request was not a surprise. As soon as Tyr read the report, he understood what needed to be done. He gave his cousin a nod and left.
When Tyr turned to leave, Freyr saw a small hickey on Tyr's neck. Unintentionally, his jaw clenched, and he snapped his pencil. The graphite turned to dust in his hand. It was no secret to him that Macha and Tyr were together but seeing the proof of it still stung.
Freyr wished he could ask Macha to leave Tyr for him, but he would never do that to his cousin. He was willing to spend this life alone if he could not have her. No one would ever compare to Macha in his eyes because he already gave his heart to her.
The Captain of the Guard, Sierra stood in the corner and spotted the King's pained expression as Tyr closed the door behind him. Tyr's hickey was one of the first things she noticed when he came in to visit. "Why don't you just take Macha? You didn't even put up a fight." She scoffed at Freyr's lame attempt to win Macha's affections. Sierra felt he had been too light handed and idealistic. It was obviously impossible for both he and Tyr to be happy when they both loved the same woman. Knowing that, she believed Freyr should have been more forceful.
Freyr gave Sierra a look meant to warn her from continuing. Many of the people in the castle pushed him to try harder. Everyone had opinions and nagged him on how it was his duty to Ma.r.s.eille to produce an heir. He grew tired of their constant suggestions.
"Fine, keep up the good guy act. We both know you aren't as good as you like to pretend. We have all done things we regret." She did not see why he needed to play such a high and mighty card now. When it came to securing an heir for the kingdom, she did not consider Tyr's feelings to take precedence. They were all comrades, but affairs of the state ranked higher than personal happiness.
Sierra's comment annoyed him. Of course, they had all done things they regretted. Life was full of twists and turns and nothing was black and white. "Yes, I am not perfect, but I can strive to be. If I did what you wanted me to do, I would not be able to face my cousins or Macha. Do you think I could look at my reflection in the mirror and be content? Life is more important than results, the way you get there matters too."
