Macha's Journey 80 A Sleepless Nigh

The next morning, Macha woke up and moved her hand to her side. Tyr was not lying beside her and the spot where he slept was cold. She was not fully awake, and she moved her hand around searching for him. Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes. The sun lit up the room from the windowed walls and the sight of Tyr sitting at a table staring out at the ocean caused her to smile. He turned his head and saw that she was awake. He grinned back at her, but she thought he looked tired.

Tyr decided to let Macha sleep in so he crept out of bed earlier and ordered breakfast for them. Yesterday exhausted her, and he understood that she needed the rest. Last night, he had difficulty sleeping because his body continually hummed from the feeling of her body lying next to him. By the time the sun came up, the light stopped him from getting any rest. "Morning, you slept for quite a while." He motioned for her to come to join him. Their breakfast had been delivered a few minutes ago, so it was still warm.

Macha slipped out of bed to join him. Tyr poured her a gla.s.s of juice. When he handed it to her, he stared at her opened robe. She looked down and quickly closed it. She forgot that the only sleepwear she packed for this trip was the black negligee. Blushing, she explained, "Um, it's all I have." The electric tension between them caused her body to tingle. The weight of his stare made her fl.u.s.tered, and she looked out at the ocean.

Tyr contemplated dragging her back to bed. She had slept soundly after he woke her up from the nightmare, so he knew she had a good night's rest. It was a beautiful day and Macha's messy bed hair made him want to run his fingers through it. He glanced at the clock and noticed that they still had an hour before Unai was supposed to visit. "Macha, come," he said in a husky voice.

Macha tore her eyes away from the ocean view and glanced at Tyr. The way he stared at her seemed so focused that her heart skipped a beat. His eyes were a deep green and arousal dilated his pupils. The sound of waves and a faint tick of the clock were the only sounds in the room. She put her gla.s.s down on the table and slid out of her seat. Her heart raced with antic.i.p.ation and she could tell he desired her.

Although her hair was not brushed and her robe was wrinkled from sleeping in it, he thought Macha looked dazzling. Everything seemed right, and he had a strong desire to be with her now. He swiftly pushed the plates away. The way her lips parted as she approached him caused his body to grow warm.

Tyr stood up and lifted Macha onto the table. His chest pressed against her as he pulled her hair back. With his other hand, he gave her silk belt a tug, and it released. She indulged in his warm breath as it caressed her ear while he whispered her name. Tyr's lips grazed her jawline and skimmed their way down to her collarbone. He licked her neck as he pressed his knee between her thighs.

Macha breathed heavily as Tyr lowered her back onto the table. His eyes had a hunger in them and she felt his hand slide up her thigh. She ran her fingers through his hair and began unb.u.t.toning his shirt. Her fingers shook with antic.i.p.ation.

Tyr nibbled Macha's lips, which were still cool from the juice she drank. They tasted like oranges and he deepened his kiss, savoring her sweetness. She gave a moan and one of his shirt b.u.t.tons popped onto the table. The sound excited him and he pushed his hips against hers. Macha responded by hooking her legs around his waist as she pushed herself against him.

Tyr wanted to go faster but also wanted this moment to last forever. He ran his hand to her hips and pulled on the lace string that barely clung to her. It felt so delicate in his hands, he worried it would rip as he pulled them down. The black lace fell to the floor, and he lifted Macha's chemise up to her waist. The swell of her hips was so seductive that he ripped the rest of his shirt off and threw it to the ground. She was taking too long to unb.u.t.ton it and he wanted his skin to be pressed against hers.

A loud knock sounded through the villa. Tyr ignored it. He unbuckled his belt while he kissed her. If he did not have her now, he swore he would die.

The knock grew louder. He broke away from Macha for a second; she seemed to be distracted from the sound. Tyr thought about how he would kill whoever interrupted them. He stared at Macha, wanting to remember her beauty forever. The way the sunlight shined down through the windows as she laid on the table left him in awe. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever met and it amazed him that he was with her.

Macha followed him as he drew away from her and pulled his collar to kiss him again. She did not want to stop but the person at the door kept knocking. "Don't go," she begged him between ragged breaths.

Hearing her beg for him to stay made him want her more. Tyr savored her forceful kiss and hesitated to leave her side. His body refused to let her go, but the constant knocking distracted him. He tore his lips away and whispered, "I'll tell them to go away." Tyr ran to the door and opened it.

The police chief stood at the door. "Captain Tyr, the man you brought in woke up and we need to do some questioning. We have a few details that need to be clarified. Could you please come in?" The way Captain Tyr looked surprised him because he seemed like the sort of man who usually was so put together.

Tyr was about to tell him to beat it, but Unai's figure strolled down the pier towards them. He slammed the door on the police chief's face and yelled, "Wait." He stalked back into the villa and saw Macha on the bed waiting for him. The look in her eyes reflected how much she wanted him and caused his heart to race.

Macha saw Tyr's face and knew something was wrong. She had a terrible hunch that things were not going to go according to plan. Her body tingled at the sight of his bare chest and loose belt. His hair was mussed from her hands running through it and her body craved to be with him.

Seeing her on the bed waiting for him made Tyr think about how they could make love quickly, but it was their first time and he wanted to take it slow. He shook his head and pushed down his desire, "The police chief is here and I have to go in for questioning. The man I captured woke up, and they wanted to have me clarify a few things." He moved to sit on the bed.

Macha moved next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "All right." The feeling of his muscular body sent a small shiver down her spine.

Tyr could tell Macha was frustrated. There was no reason why she had to be frustrated all day when he was the one who had to leave. He gave her a wicked smile and pushed her down onto the bed. He wanted to please her before he left. Tyr's lips covered Macha's, and he moved his hand slowly up her inner thigh. "Do you realize what you do to me?" he groaned between kisses.

Her legs parted as Tyr's hand trail up her thigh. His long fingers played with her, exploring and teasing her. He liked that her hands clung to his arms while she panted. Macha was wet, and he rubbed her velvet dew around, enticing her with every stroke. Tyr moved off the bed and pulled her to him. He looked up from between her thighs and murmured in a thick voice, "Your skin is so soft."

Macha arched her back as Tyr's tongue teased her. Her hands grabbed the sheets as Tyr's fingers moved deeper, stroking her faster. Her body was tense from the pleasure. "Tyr," she moaned heavily. His lips tormented her, and she surrendered to the pleasure of his rhythm.

She tightened around his fingers and he moved back up to kiss her. She grasped his shoulders tightly and her body quiver as she cried out his name. Tyr slowed his movements and kissed Macha tenderly. After she calmed down, he nibbled her earlobe playfully. He worried that it had not been good enough for her. Fenrir's words flashed into his mind and he asked, "Was it all right?"

Her world spun and Macha looked into his green eyes. He seemed worried and looked like his world would cave in depending on her answer. She was beyond satisfied, so this confused her. It seemed almost impossible to her that he could not tell how much pleasure she had gone through. A satisfied smile spread across her face. "It was amazing, but what about you?" Macha felt bad because she knew he had not come.

Tyr traced a finger along the bridge of her nose. Relief spread through his body. At this moment, he did not care about his needs, he was relieved that he did not disappoint her. "I can wait. I have to go and Unai is outside." He pushed off the bed and moved to get a shirt. He dressed quickly because the police chief had been waiting for almost ten minutes.

Macha ran after him and wrapped her arms around his back. "Thank you," she said. Although they did not have s.e.x, his actions filled her with happiness. In her mind, if they could not be a couple, she was satisfied being lovers.

Tyr turned around and gave her one more lingering kiss before leaving. If he stayed any longer he would not bother worrying about the police chief who stood outside.
