"Calm down Eigel. Don't overreact, she's not dead yet.I'm sure of that because you see, in these many years that I've been with her, I can now easily determine her condition let alone her whereabouts. It's true that her spirit left her body but what's strange is..."
-----
At Archer and Fai's location---Southern part of Dragon Clans' center kingdom: Hall of Fate.
In a gentle manner, Archer has put Fai down in her bed as she is silently sleeping.
"Strange...I've been carrying her for so long but she didn't even move an inch. She didn't even budge when I put her down. It's like I have carried a corpse. "
Wondering in uncertainty, Archer place his hand on Fai's nose to make sure that she is still breathing. His was taken a back because he couldn't feel her respiration at all. He later decided to make sure if she's still alive through her pulse.First, he checked by putting his fingers on the side of her neck, he was relieved because it is beating. Not convinced enough, he then check on her arm and also her heartbeat on the chest.
"Good. She's still alive, her heart is still beating, but what's strange is.....she doesn't inhale or exhale. She doesn't breathe at all. Why is that?"

On the other hand...
6:30 AM
KRINGGGG-KRINGG!!!
As the alarm clock finally did its job...Fai, woke up.
*Yawns*
She stretches her body as though she had a nice sleep. When she opened her eyes, she let out a smile for she had found herself awoken in her favorite place---her rented apartment.
"Ahhh~This is perfect. So I've come back to reality eh, ugh pity, I remember I had such a long but nice dream." She uttered while she got down on her single s.p.a.ce bed and went straight to open her window curtains. As she opened it, the brightness of the sun came greeting her. As radiant as it is, she closed her eyes for a bit because the dazzling light felt blinding for her. When she opened it once again, she placed her hand on the window stool and felt the breeze of the air coming from her opened window.
"Hmmmm...What a nice morning it is, look at the blue sky, I guess the weather is good today. Well, I bet that this'll be a good day anyway."
While feeling the breeze, she's hearing the bike bells from the street that is pa.s.sing by her apartment, she also hears the bird's chirping from her planted apple tree, and of course, she hears the neighbor's lively chatterings, gossips, shouts and talks to each other.
She can't help but to just listen to their conversation. When she heard an interesting story, she leaned her face close to her walls and deliberately convinced herself.
"It's not eveasdropping OK. It's just umm...accidental listening. *sweats* I mean, isn't a gossip suppose to be whispering with each other? So why do my neigbors gossip as if they are broadcasting everything through their loud voices. Heh, I have no account on that anyway. I just listen to daily new---Eh?W-wait what? The attorney next door and his wife had already gotten divorce? They just moved in this place not so long ago. But, I mean yeah right, it's not even hard to predict what's gonna happen to them judging from their frequent fights and such."
Then a bird came flying in her room.
*Flap-flap-flap*
When she turned around, she saw her beautiful male scarlet macaw pet on her couch. In her excitement she immediately runs towards him and hugged him.
"Kaine! My darling, where have you been? When I woke up, I didn't saw you."
The bird talked and replied, "Move your face away from me Fai, you're getting way to close, I can't breathe anymore."
She moved away immediately "Ooops..sorry".Then, she started interrogating him, "Ok, So~ where have you been Kaine?"
"I just checked on the girl who you helped before. Do you remember? The girl who you put on the orphanage because she was homeless?" (He really did. But what took him so long was because he went in the Celestial Realm.)
"Ahh, ok now that I think about it,is she doing well?"
"Yeah, seems like she has already adapt into the environment quickly."
"Alright then. *chuckles* I know this might be hard to believe, but Kaine, you know what's in my mind whenever you're gone?"
"What? Why did you laugh? What is it on your mind?"
"I mean, you're an attractive colorful male bird and is eloquent in speaking human language, so I thought you went out to finally find your partner. Or.... do you want me to find one for you? Just say it, I'll apply to more part time jobs in order to buy you a bride. Do want it?" Fai suggested.
"Gosh Fai, you're on that again? You are so eager to find me a partner don't you?"
"Oh yeah, you bet! I'd love to see your little chicks you know, I think they'll be as wonderful as you."
"Heh, Fai stop your fantasies, you'll never ever see my chicks. I'm not the type to marry."
Feeling down and hopeless, Fai replied as she sit on the couch, "But, Kaine...is that really what you want? Are you satisfied just being with me? I mean, you've been accompanying me ever since I was 5, you were always there for me. You stood up as my bestfriend, my guardian and the fact I don't have any parents at all, you filled their spot and became my one and only family. So, I also just wish for your happiness, you truely deserve it. If you're hesitant to part with me because you might migrate with your future wife to your future habitat, I can just go visit you no matter how far it will be. In that way, I can also take my turn to finally make you happy. We only have each other for the moment right? Well, isn't it the right time to seriously think of the saying, 'the more the merrier?'."
Kaine cringed about the dramas that Fai is talking about, but at the same time he also feels touched and moved about those words because he can feel that Fai also caring for him. Embara.s.sed, he replied while averting his eyes away from Fai, "Stop these dramas and nonsenses Fai, I just want to be with you ok, it's already decided so just let it be." After stating that, he flies right away to the kitchen.
Fai chuckled for she feels Kaine's embara.s.sment. "Aww, how cute he is. If he was human, I'd totally fall for him hahaha." She suddenly clenched her fist and made a commitment, "Just wait Kaine, I'm sure you also want a bride, so I'll definitely do my best in school as well as to my part time jobs to give us and your future wife a better future!or life?"
In the Kitchen, where Kaine is making a coffee. In his thought, "Silly, it's enough to make me happy just to see that you're well."

In the Dragon Clan's territory of Celestial Realm.
"What!? She just drank wine and she doesn't wake up!?" Adara exclaimed because she can't accept the fact that Fai's body doesn't want to wake up.
"It's true princess Adara. When I tried to sense her breathing, she doesn't let out an air, but when I tried to feel her pulse, it is soundly beating. So to make it sure, I finally tried to wake her up. Sadly, she doesn't response to my voice at all. So I just tried to shake her but still, no response at all, that's why I decided to call you and Genrou here." Archer explained while worriness is clearly painted on his face.
"Maybe it's because of the wine in here? Is it too strong for her that it cost her a breathing abnormality?" Genrou wondered as he goes near towards the sleeping Fai.
"What do you mean? Don't all immortals able to tolerate any wine, whether how strong or weak it is? Yes, we can be drunk but we do not end up being in this abnormal state." Archer implicated.
"Prince Archer, sorry if we have kept this from you, but now, I think you deserve to know the truth." Adara stated while staring straightly to Archer.
Archer frowned as he is curious about what Adara has just uttered. "Kept? What do you mean? Is it really true that you're hiding a secret concerning her? Tell me, what is it that I don't know?"
"You're right Prince Archer, there is something that you don't know about her but...(immediately looks at Adara) sis, I didn't know that this is a secret. I just didn't try to explain it to him." Genrou a.s.serted.
Adara sighed as though she's trying to let the stress she is feeling to all go out. "Genrou, I know your nature. You don't want explaining things which is a good thing for you but sometimes it's becoming problematic."
She later move her gaze towards Archer, "And as for that said secret which is really not...Well...we can...trust you right?"She reluctantly asked.
"Princess Adara, don't you know who I am? I'm from phoenix clan remember? Phoenix clan, your greatest allies, right?" Archer reminded.
"Ah...well *scratches cheek* It's because this is not just a simple matter that we're talking about."
"Go on. I'm all ears, you can trust me." Archer implored.
"This girl right here *presents Fai* is a Mortal." Genrou straightforwardly a.s.serted as he addresses his hands towards the direction of Fai.
Upon hearing that, Archer gasps in shockness, "A mortal? H-how can---"
Then, Adara inserted, "It's true. That's why we cannot disclose this matter to just anyone. A mortal who breathes the same air as us, this is an unusual matter."
"No, this can't be. A mortal? I don't believe it. I should have felt it when I was carrying her awhile ago." Archer justified while looking at his hands that carried Fai.
"What are you talking about? She is clearly a Mortal. I've already checked it. I am certain that she is." Genrou guaranteed.
Archer directs his gaze at Genrou and clearly stated, "No, it's different. The feeling is different. I have met a mortal before when I carried out a mission on the mortal world together with King Xandrite, and the aura is completely different, I am telling you. What I sensed towards Fai when I carried her was...somewhat familiar, though I'm not really sure about it for now. Therefore, she is...not completely a mortal Genrou."
"What!? Have my a.n.a.lysis gone wrong then? I felt it. I clearly did! The weak aura which she emits, the pale smell of mortal blood that is running through veins, and the doubtless incapability of her having powers is also very evident. That's clearly all a mortal's sign!" Genrou strongly retorted.
Archer then responded to Genrou's statement, "I'm not doubting your capability Genrou, I'm just stating what I have sensed. Maybe it's true that you really felt that she's really a mortal, but have you wondered why a mere mortal like her is able to breathe the same air as us? Have you ever speculated if she really is a mortal or...does she have the ability to hide her true ident.i.ty?"
