Dream, Where True Love Lies 10 Dream 9: Is It You?

"Pfft! Hahaha! did you see the embarra.s.sed expression in her face? Bwahaha it's so satisfying!" Princess Teta burst out laughing while holding her stomach.

"Hey-hey, watch what you were saying. Act more like princess will you?" Princess Mish.e.l.l reminded.

Fai puts her palm in the face and cerebrated. "Phew! That was close. If I hadn't think of that earlier, we coul've been in a serious trouble. Gosh, I can't believe I lied. I just came here to ask permission for food but who would've known that this misunderstanding would happen."

Adara put her arms around Fai's shoulders and whispered, "Good job Fai!" *winks and thumbs up*

She added, "Why were you looking for me anyway?"

"I---*fidget, fidget*...ummm can I get foods from there? *points at the food corner* You see, my stomach's been protesting since we got here. It's craving for delicious food" Fai explained.

"Hahaha! that's all? Why are you even asking permission for that? Just go and eat all you can, and also, make friends ok?" She urged.

Fai stood up immediately and joyfully said "Yes! Thank you!" then she went her way to get food.

As she is picking what food she likes to put in her plate, a bunch of men went to introduce themselves to her, 8 young men her age and other men in their middle and late 20's.

"Miss, I never thought that there'll come a day that I would gaze at a beautiful and dazzling lady!" one man said.

"Miss, may I know your beautiful name? I'm sure it's as beautiful as you!" the other said.

The another one uttered, "Is this love? Miss, I must have fallen for you at first sight."

"Miss, what clan do you belong to? I'm a prince, I can ask my father to betroth me to you." another one implored.*Presents a ring*

The other a.s.serted "No, miss you must be my destiny, let me be the one to give you happiness." *presents a bouquet of roses*

He holds Fai's hand and attempts to kiss it but Fai immediately pull her hands out of his grip.

She rubs her hand and she awkwardly laugh "Haahha" and in her mind "have these guys lose their minds? I know I have different features in my dream but... is this a part of my desire? They say that your dream is your inner desire....But wait, this is too much!are all immortals like this? I can see that there are many more beautiful lady immortals than me, why are they surrounding me? Am I that beautiful in their eyes or they're just drawn because they felt I'm different? Arghhhh!I don't know anymore! This is the first time that I experienced this, I don't know how to handle this! *silent scream in mind* Adara!Help me!"

As she is surrounded and they keep wooing her, a man approximately 20 years of age stepped in.

"Gentlemen, control yourselves. You're all royalties and of high position, I know you're drawn with this beautiful lady here, but let's keep everything decent alright? Have you ever asked whether she is single or not? You just keep coming at her" He elucidated.

"Oh! Prince Archer Recca from Phoenix Clan's South Breeze!" One man startlingly said.

Then the men started chattering...

"Huh!? is it the famous Archer Recca whose not only popular by his attractive appearance but also by his distinctive speed ability in battle ground?"

"Yes, he's faster than a lightning when he starts to get serious in a fight."

As they are talking, in Fai's thoughts "Oh good, they shifted their attention to him, It's my chance to escape, but how?"

"I heard that he can take up to 30 immortals in just a few seconds."another one added

"Yes, and he is as good as the Tiger Clans whose mechanism is speed."

"No wonder he is a prince general in such a young age."

While Fai is thinking a way to get out of there, prince Archer suddenly cut off the men's chatterings. "All right now, can we settle this down?"

"Ah, yes..." One man said as he looks at Fai.

"WHAT!? it's not finish yet?" She exclaimed in mind.

"Miss Fai *shy* are you still single?" The other shyly asked.

The men concurred with question whilst they antic.i.p.ate for the answer.

"I-ummm *scratches her cheek awkwardly*( what should I do? What should I do? Should I be honest or should I just lie?)" she anxiously thinks.

Archer went behind Fai furtively, and then a voice softly whispered in her ear, "Just say you're taken."

Fai twitched, "eek!" But then she realizes that, it wasn't such a bad idea. She later replied, "Umm, sorry but you see, I'm already not available. I'm loyal to my lover so I cannot reciprocate your feelings. I'm really sorry." She apologetically said.

"O-oh I-is that so?"

The men felt busted and rejected. Feeling down, one by one they went away.

Only Archer stayed. "See, I told you its effective." He said.

Fai looks up to him for he is approximately a 6 footer man.

Then she responded "Thank you for helping me out mister. But...do you need something? I believe that you wouldn't help out someone you don't know if you're not expecting something in return."

He smirked. "Miss, I'm not that kind of person. I just noticed a while ago that when you arrived, all their eyes are on you. They just sought for the right time to approach you because you were stucked with Princess Adara, and when they had, well you saw what happened. So I helped out a little bit. I don't wanna see a maiden being hara.s.s you know. It hurts my eyes."

"Oh gosh! Thank you so much! *Then suddenly wears a serious face* Should I put it that way?" She straightforwardly said while hiding a smirk in her face.

*flinches* "What?" He confusedly asked.

She shrugs her shoulders and replied, "Well, judging from your explanation, you're no better than them. I mean, your eyes were also on me right? You just approached me in a different way."

"What!? wait-no I mean ughh *face palm* well...You have a point there but please, don't misunderstand me okay?"

"HAHAHA! Just joking, why are you so agitated? I believe that you're not like that but, what do you mean I have a point there" She said as she raises her eyebrow.

He puts his hand on his neck as he avoids eye contact with her. He then shyly replied "Umm…well it's true that you're an eye-catcher *looks at her while blushing* so, what I mean is…umm *falters* May I...may I know your name?"

The people from Archer's clan keeps watching curiously at them in their table as they chat with each other.

"So, is our mighty prince Archer finally decides to court someone?" His page, Siro said.

"I think so, look how shy he is." Princess Shama from East Breeze presumed.

"Haha, I never thought that I could see this side of him being shy. I mean, he's usually serious you know, it's really fun to watch." Prince Willi from North Breeze scoffingly said.

Fai then replied to Archer, "Oh, ah… well, my name is Fai mister, no I mean, prince! prince Archer right? (I heard it from the men before.)

Upon hearing that, Archer became perplex all of a sudden and immediately grabs Fai's shoulders, "FAI!? You said your name is Fai?"

"Ah, yes?" She confusedly answered (Why is he so fl.u.s.tered? Why does everyone freaks out after hearing my name?)

"Tell me? Have you already met prophet Eigel? Are you the chosen one? Where'd you go all this time? Have you returned to fulfill your mission?" He anxiously asked.

The people from Archer's clan who keeps watching them were baffled and said,

"Oh, great! Now what is HE doing!?" prince Willi anxiously a.s.serted while looking at his companions with such surprise eyes as he points at Archer.

"Yeah! Maybe he got rejected that's why he have lost his mind." Siro a.s.sumed.

"Guys! Stop it just watch and see what happens next OK!" Shama said as she pat them both.

"Tell me, is it you?" Archer insisted on asking.

"Oh! Ok?It seems like I have the same name as the one they call the chosen one huh?It is really a big deal for them?But.... My gosh! This is driving me insane. I can't answer his questions, I don't know how! Better get out of here." Fai thought while taking a step back.

Then she replied, "Umm…prince *holds Archer's hands as she get it off her shoulders* I don't think I can answer all your questions because it's seems endless, and sorry to disappoint you but, I'm not the 'Fai' you're talking about. I need to go now."

Archer was left in daze, but as Fai walks away, he tried to chase her. He grabbed her hand but Fai retracts her hand off his grasp.

"Miss Fai, I-I'm sorry but can you explain It more to me?" He pleaded with imploring eyes.

"No! Please don't chase after me anymore." She screamingly appealed in mind.

She then replied to Archer, "P-Prince Archer *sheepish smile* I think I need to go to the restroom real quick, I think it's nature's calling bye-bye!" She quickly ran as fast as she can.

Then, the b.u.mping incident happened.

At the palace corridor where Fai and Genrou were talking.

"So that's what happened." Fai said as she's done explaining.

(She only told the part where Archer started entering the scene.)

"Is that so?" Genrou responded upon hearing Fai's explanation.

He then look at Archer and greeted him with a bow, Archer likewise greeted him.

"Prince Archer, forgive me for what I'm about to say but…would you mind explaining why you a.s.sumed that this girl right here is likely my beloved fiancée? I mean look at her! This girl!? *presents her* She is completely faaar from being the lovely Fai!" He strongly claimed as if it's really impossible for her to the fiancée.

Archer is at a loss for words by what he just heard. Then he a.s.serted "Ok, drop the formalities Genrou, we've been friends since forever all right! So why bother asking a pardon about that matter? Anyway, I know you truly love your fiancée, but seeing you act like this towards her only guarantees that you're truly naïve!"

"What!? I am not! I just don't want my 'Fai' to be compared with someone crazy OK? And I AM NOT NAÏVE!" He strongly denied, and then he added "Isn't it supposed to be said, I'M LOYAL?"

Fai got annoyed by Genrou's words, that is why she nudged his side as she looks at him with piercing glare as if she's saying, "Say that again!?"

Upon seeing Fai's threathening glare, he hesitantly reacted in his mind, "eek! What is this look she's giving me?"

"Now, now Genrou, you know that the information I have about you fiancé 'Fai' was just her name right? But in our clan, there's a rumor that she's extremely beautiful, that is why I presumed that she might look like this lady here. " Archer stated.

"No, that's impossible. She cannot be what you think and she will never be." Genrou solidly declared.

At the banquet hall where Prophet Eigel finally anoints the young prince.

"Now, I shall give my blessings to the newborn prince of Shawn royal family.

Young prince Yoda, *Gently lays his hand at the baby* I shall now bless you as an official royalty in the Celestial Realm, belonging in the Dragon Clan as a dragon and an immortal in this realm. May you grow as a great and righteous immortal." Prophet Eigel proclaimed.

The crowd then applauded and started toasting their gla.s.ses as they shout...

"Welcome to Celestial realm!"

"Welcome to the world of immortals!"

"Welcome to the dragon clan Prince Yoda!"

Then the duke announces, "We shall now proceed to the highlight of tonight, the banquet dance!"
