Yu w.a.n.g came to the Su family residence with his bodyguard who looked strong and invincible. They all rode warhorses that had huge statures. Accustomed to struggling on the battlefield, their momentum was very pressing on the residents who roamed around watching their arrival. The Su family's residence is in an area where many ministers live, so many people are hanging around. Yu w.a.n.g's arrival at the Su family's residence made everyone think that Yu w.a.n.g had come to visit his in-laws.

Yu Fengyao looked at the gate that had a 'Su family residence' placard hanging there. The plaque looked expensive, not so different from his image of the behaviour of most members of this family. The Su family had been a part of the upper-cla.s.s aristocrats, but they did not have much wealth due to the extravagant behaviour of their members. Since Su Gaishan married his wife, the family's finances have changed for the better. But, it looks like Madam Xu; his late mother-in-law raised white wolves with her hands, according to the information he got.

"Yu w.a.n.g-"

Patriarch Su welcomed the arrival of Yu w.a.n.g and his entourage. Although the Su family was a high-cla.s.s aristocratic family, they were still far behind the royal family, so Su Lingdao was obliged to accept the arrival of Yu w.a.n.g personally.

All this should also have adorned his wife's private courtyard at the Su family's residence. But, from the information he got, Su Qingyi never received the slightest profit that could have been used by the young woman to beautify her courtyard.

Arriving at the main hall, Yu w.a.n.g sat in the main crafted wooden chair by climbing three small wooden steps, Su Lingdao sat on the chair next to him. Some elders sat on simple wooden chairs some distance away. n.o.body refused the seat arrangement that happened because the royal family had to always sit on the main seat based on their social standing. Tea and snacks were served shortly after they all sat down. From the fragrance of tea and snacks provided, Yu w.a.n.g knew that they were expensive.

Drinking the tea provided, Yu w.a.n.g seemed relaxed, making Patriarch Su curious about the purpose of Yu w.a.n.g's arrival at Su's residence, feeling impatient.

"Can this old man know the purpose of Yu w.a.n.g's arrival at Su's residence?"

Glancing at Patriarch Su who looked curious and impatient, Yu w.a.n.g said coldly; "If there is no business, this Prince can not visit this place?"

"This prince has some business this time so come visit this place."

This man has spies around the elders and also Patriarch Su. Even though Patriarch Su was his biological father, Su Zhuanjin kept spying there. His carelessness of not putting a spy there before making him lose the chance to get what he wanted.

"Second Master, your father calls your wife to meet the guests who come."

"En, is Yu w.a.n.g's the one that coming?"

Su Zhuanjin's manservant nodded in agreement.

"Are you not going to help your wife?"

"Hmph! That woman is looking for trouble herself, why should I help her?"

The manservant became speechless. The second master was still hating his legitimate wife for killing the woman he loved because she was jealous of her.

"Are you not worried that Patriarch Su will punish the madam severely?"

Watching from a distance the figure of his wife who followed Patriarch Su servant towards the main hall, Su Zhuanjin said nothing.
