Nadazhda POV

"You are our Queen because you are his mate, his saviour, his only hope and ours" he stated genuinely while I stared at him.

"But I'm not a Queen!" I said and he chuckled lightly as Zaccheus pulled me towards his chest, "You are our Queen" his voice was deeper and rougher than his normal which made me know, his beasts were present.

"Oh dear," Alec called softly, "There are many things you don't understand, so I will do the honour by explaining".

I knitted my brows but chose to say nothing as I made myself comfortable on Zaccheus legs while he was using his hand to draw circles on my thigh.

"Every supernatural being are blessed with a soul mate to support, love and be a partner to them. Soul mates were written before birth and no one could escape what's written - fate. A soul mate is half of a supernatural, without it, the being could never be a complete being and couldn't be powerful. With soul mate; power, strength comes naturally. No one could reject one another because it's like killing the individual. Soul mate is a weakness and strength to a supernatural" he spoke with adoration as his eyes twinkled with happiness.

A soul mate?, do I have a soul mate?, Zaccheus does he has a soul mate, I felt my heart constricted painfully when I imagined him with another woman. He could never consider me because I'm no one, I'm just a broken little girl wanting someone to love her, my thoughts ran wild as I felt pain in my heart.

I shook my head away from my thoughts and focused on what he was saying, "How can a supernatural being recognized his or her mate?" I asked curiously while he smiled at me knowingly.

"The bond between soulmates is sacred and holy from Selena. It's always love at first sight. The mere looking at your soul mate, you would feel contented and satisfied. have known because of the spark, and electricity. The mate bond started to work" his voice wavered a little with sadness as he looked at the s.p.a.ce.

"Matebond is a chemistry reaction between the two souls. It made them want each other. It brings two souls together until they are mated and marked" he said.

"Marked as in tattoo or branded and mate as in..." my face was hot with embarra.s.sment while Zaccheus chuckled behind me.

"Yeah love" I shivered in delight when his warm breath tickled my ear.

He trailed kisses to the crooked of my neck, nibbling and biting it softly which made me moaned slowly, "I'm going to sink my fangs here as I will continue to pound that little jewel of yours slowly while taking you to the peak of ecstasy then stop until you beg for it and I'll be glad to give it to you" he stated sensually with his husky voice as I felt myself getting hotter and wetter with needs.

"So that's marking and mating about" I heard Alec voice at the background and I was pulled back from my thoughts mortified. My cheeks were flaming red, I'd forgotten about them again. Just with his voice, I'd lost my common sense.

"Most supernatural mated and marked their soul mates the same day or the following day".

"That's means, I'm Zaccheus mate?" I asked slowly, wanting to be sure.

"Yes, you are".

My brain couldn't comprehend I being a Queen that I went into a mini panic attack. My chest heave heavily and my breathing was coming out in short pant. I wasn't beautiful nor s.e.xy. I was just plain like a triangle. How could I be paired with an Adonis King whereas I was nothing.

When I'd overcome my shocked with the help of Zaccheus soothing words, I turned my gaze to Alec and asked, "Where is your mate?".

As I asked the question, the temperature of the room dropped down. The warmth was replaced with cold which made me shivered.

"She was killed with our baby" he replied gravely yet sadness and yearning were shown in his eyes.

"But... How?".

"The dark witches killed because she knew about their conspiracy. She died protecting our baby and I lost myself to my animal instinct, rampaging and destroying everything until I was brought out from my self wallowing. The only reason, I'm still breathing is that I need to avenge my mate death" he seethed, baring his shiny and sharp fangs as he clenched and unclenched his fist. "It was my fault, I didn't listen when she said I should not go because she was having some feelings but I was so headstrong" his voice cracked, unshed tears glistened in his...o...b...

"Don't be sad or angry, your mate is always with you because she's in your heart and memories so cherish it till you will meet her again. And she would be happy knowing that you did lose yourself to darkness" I said softly, "You can go out and cool yourself down, it's okay to cry because it is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength, so pour out your heart!" I didn't know where the words were coming from but I was happy to make him happy as his eyes shown grat.i.tude before he stormed out.

" Woah, that was hot. You really talk like a Luna" he praised me, kissing the side of my ear.

I was proud that I was able to make him happy. It tugged my heart to see him sad, It was like the pain was mine.

The triplet towards me, smiling cheekily at me, "she is beautiful" the lady who was in the middle gushed out. I stared at them bewilderment because of the colour of their hair and eyes.

"I'm Destiny - what action decided," The lady said as her purple eyes glowed making her purple hair to glow also.

The guy with pink eyes and hair, smiled at me, "I'm Time - when it happened or would happen".

And the last guy with orange eyes and hair, "I'm fate - the inevitable".

I was awed with their voices and personality, they radiated out love, happiness and care.

Zaccheus turned me to face him as his eyes held worries and concerns.

"I hope you don't mind being Destiny's friend? so that she could teach you some of our practice here?" he asked.

"Yes, I don't mind" I replied excitedly, I was having my first real friend excluding Rina. And Destiny was super cool with hair weirdo hair and eyes. It would be fun to have someone close to one craziness.

"And you don't mind Fate being your bodyguard?" he asked slowly while I stared at him.

"Why did I need a bodyguard?".

"Because you are my mate and you aren't safe because people would want to bring me down".
