Septem 11 Elemental Affinity

Without delay, we arrive at mother's room. There are a lot of books in her room. I thought she will start teach me about magician. However, she orders some maid and other staffs to move all some her books to library. Then, after she check no more books that need to be moved. She holds my hand and we walk to library.

Our mansion library is very big and not ordinary employee can enter also it is being guard 24 hour. Inside the library is very big. Although, this is not the first time I go in here but I can't help to think people will get lost in this library as it is very big.

Mother is in charge of this place and sometime she also spends most of her time here. People without her permission will never get into this library even father need to get permission from mother.

After all the employee put all the books on near table, they immediately go out of the library. There is only me and mother in the library even Moru who always follow me is waiting outside now. "Alright, my dear let's start but are you sure about me become your magician teacher? Even your father gives up when I tried to teach him some "simple spells"?" as her motherly demeanor gone.

"Yes, I am very sure. Beside, mother is grandmaster t.i.tle at magician job though I don't in which specialty. So, I think mother is the strongest when it came to spells." I replied with smile.

"Aaah… My dear Yosep, you really are the best. Even your father and brothers can even understand the true way of magic. But, don't expect me be lenient in your study because I am very strict teacher." She starts hug me again then change into teacher mode.

"First, I need to know how far you know about magician world. What do you know about magician?" in inquire tone.

"Well, I only know that magician job using their mageforce as power for their spell. Beside that I don't know anything else. Even when I asked teacher Gene about it she only answer you will know more from the magician job or mother." I answered honestly.

"Well, Gene is not wrong cause magician job is very versatile and big that's why it called magician world. There is even a continent that majority population is become magician job. Magician job also the only main job that have most specialties. By the way, you said you don't know my specialty and only know that I have Grandmaster t.i.tle. Did you know how many specialties I have?" asked in prideful tone with teasing smile.

"Emm… three?" I answer after thinking a little bit since teacher Gene have two specialties, with magician job have more specialties I think it is reasonable to have that number t.i.tle.

However, all of this believe is shattered as she said, "Three… it seems you are being too influence by Gene. Even start to looking down too much on your own mother. Listen carefully my dear, I have 5 specialties of main job which sorcerer, enchanter, summoner, and wind mage at grandmaster level while s.p.a.ce mage at master level. I also have three ex-job such as alchemy, witchcraft, and scripter at grandmaster t.i.tle." With prideful manner.

"Whatt… seven grandmaster t.i.tle and job specialties." I shocked about the revelation.

"Then, does it means that mother is stronger than father or teacher Gene?" I started to curious.

"Well, Of course. Don't tell anyone your mother is actually descendant of the oldest and strongest clan in Neviret continent. It just I start to going around the world as it become too boring for me to stay in the clan until I meet your father." Replied her in blushing.

Then she started pick some book. "Okay, that's enough about short introduction. I hear you can already control your mageforge. How many elements did you have affinity?" as she staring at me.

"It's three." I answered and thought this will be another freak out situation.

"Yosep, my dear I know you still not open all you true strength to us. However, can you trust your mother as I trust you with my secret?" The sudden response gives me a surprise.

Then I start to reply, "it's five elements." With faking smile.

"Really? To think you will keep lying to your mother this make me sad." As she back to pick some books.

Surrender from mother's pressure, "Alright-alright, it's eleven. I can feel all the element in the surrounding." While I hope she will not look at me as a monster.

"Foolish boy, you can at least trust you mother. But, to think you can feel all the element, I really proud of you my child." While she hugging me and ruffing my head.

"Mother, don't you surprise I have eleven elements affinity?" as I start to lean on her.

"Of course I surprise, But, you always be my dear son. Beside it is an advantage for you if you have all affinity as magician. As magician the most important part is your affinity with your element. It is also divide as low which you can only feel and absorb it, medium which you can feel, absorb and slightly control it in your body, and high affinity which you can feel, absorb and perfectly control it in your body."

"With some methods and training you can also increase your affinity. Now let's we test your affinity of each of your elements." As she stands up and bring me to the center of library.

"The test is simple. First go in the center of this diagram spell in the floor. Then start to collect your element in one of your hand. Don't be afraid about destroying things. This diagram spell is enchanted to gather the element easily and protect the surrounding. Now let's start with fire element." As she commands me to go to the center.

I start to gather the fire element from my body to my hand. Eventually, it starts to become fire in my hand. But, it also gathers fire element from the surrounding. As it become hotter I start to disperse the fire and in instant the fire put out.

"As expected, you really master control of your mageforce and have high affinity toward fire." Sudden mother comment broke my thought.

"Em.. mother, is it also normal for the surrounding element to gather when you try to gather the element in your hand?" I asked about what is bugging me.

"Surrounding element? Wait it can't be perfect aff.. Yosep, start gather fire element like before but from the surrounding this time!" Order mother hurriedly.

As I start to gather the element from the surrounding in my hand it also starts fire in my hand. After a while, I start to disperse it. Then, I look at my mother.

"It really perfect affinity. Yayy… my child has perfect affinity on fire." While she starts to lift me who is still confuse.

Shortly, she put me down. "Listen, my dear, what you just show is perfect affinity which is above high affinity as you can also control the element in the surrounding. Perfect affinity is different from the rest. Because you cannot achieve it even with all sort of training and method you do except you are born with it. A magician with great control of perfect affinity can cancel his opponent attack without even lift your finger. Basically it is a heaven defying talent."

"I hear you are really great at controlling mageforce when you spar. So, there are big chance you have another perfect affinity in your elements. From now, you will try to gather the elements from the surrounding only for the rest of the test." While leaving we start again the test for other element.

The result is I have perfect affinity in all of the element I also notice the color and sensation of each element. Fire is red and warm, water is blue and cold, wind is white and chilly, earth is brown and strong, wood is green and refreshing, metal is silver and hard, light is yellow and soothing, dark is black and dread, s.p.a.ce is purple and void, time is cyan and heavy, neutral is grey and blank.

After the test, we back to our table and mother took a lot of books from the air. It some sort of portal. Then, she orders me to read all of them and also all of the books that the staff bring with addition of some books she pick in the beginning.

To summary, it was a mountain of books she told me to read and asked if something I don't understand immediately while she start going around in the library to add some more books in my reading list.

Normal people will start to going crazy if he ordered to read this mountain book at once. However, for me who is already integrated with all seven sin's memory as part of me. It is like walk in the park. After a little bit of stretching, I start to read all the books.
