The Unexpected Discovery Of Love Chapter 33 - Isabella Stan

As someone who can never say "no" to her friends, she was mindful of the kind of persons she let get close to her. Kim for many reasons, kept a distance from people, though she wanted friends, it was really difficult to get close to people from her past experience. She was sure within her that Isabella is not someone she wants to keep around, though she felt bad about how she treated her, that doesn't mean she would go apologise. It was better to draw a line from the beginning than ignore someone doing something you don't like over and over again, you can only complain in your heart.

Even if she wanted to make friends, it wasn't someone like Isabella, she was trouble. She wanted to pa.s.s through the university peacefully without any trouble. She didn't want to force herself to be friends with someone she didn't like, she couldn't pretend to like someone. So she had to put Isabella in her place.

Leaving behind a devasted girl by the fields, she continued her tour round the school. She wanted to become familiar with her new environment as quickly as possible, she would be spending five years within the walls of the university.

Isabella wasn't sure why Kim treated her that way, she wasn't a bad person. May be she had a selfish motive for approaching Kim, but that was all. It was not like she killed her mother or stole her boyfriend. She made up her mind to confront Kim the next ten they meet. Right now, resting at home was a priority.

Not quite twenty minutes later, a very low profile Jaguar S-Type pulled into the school driven by none other than Chamberlain Stan. He drove directly to the law faculty, parked just in front of the Isabella. Stepping out of the car, he questioned, "Why are you sitting on the ground? Get up."

Pulling her up he noticed her gloomy expression, with a frown etched on his handsome face, he questioned, "Who offended you?"

"Brother..." Isabella said in reply. He face, looking extremely wronged. She didn't really know how to feel. How did she offend Kim? Did she really say anything bad to her, she couldn't remember. The more she thought of Kim, the more sullen she was. Chamberlain didn't like that someone offend his sister on her first day here. As someone who always pampered her, he was angered.

"Tell me, what happened?" He asked once more. Kim looked up at him with teary eyes, his heart broke, seeing her expression. "I think I offended my first friend and she doesn't want to be friends with me anymore." Isabella said in reply.

Chamberlain scoffed inwardly, 'and I thought someone did something wrong to her, may be I should stop pampering her.'

"It's fine Bella, if you sincerely apologise, she'll forgive you." Chamberlain said, patting her hair. His actions made Isabella relax. Opening the car door, he simply said, "Let's go home." She nodded in reply entering the car.

Isabella wasn't exactly a bad person, her environment influenced her both negatively and positively. She grew up believing she was meant to be a leader, that was exactly why she wanted Kim to be her lackey rather than friend. She was from a prestigious family of course, that meant she was expected to have friends from equal or higher background than her. There was a lot of expectation, though she was pampered by both her brother and mother, her father was a very strict man. Considering his position and reputation as a politician, there was a certain image he was expected to portray and he couldn't let his children taint that image or ruin his reputation. They must be outstanding and yet not showy at the same time.

Though he liked publicity as a politician but he also preferred to be low profile in order to elicit a righteous image in the hearts of people. That was why the cars used by every member of his family was luxurious but very low profile. As a public official, having luxurious properties would be bad for the mage he had personally groomed. They are not allowed to wear branded items, yes, still they wore expensive pieces. The normal procedure was to take off the label from whatever clothe they purchased. They were not allowed to start any rumours. Their partners would be decided by their father and as such, they were not allowed to date anyone. There was a lot of rules to follow, so both mother and brother try to make things easier for Isabella by pampering her. So she might come off as a little bit spoilt.

The siblings drove in silence as they returned to their home in the upper district. They moved recently to State A as part of their father's grand plan they were not exactly aware of but it definitely had to do with the upcoming elections. Isabella was thinking of ways to apologize to Kim sincerely with out telling her the truth. Although at first, she had bad intentions but as they moved from one place to another, with Kim ignoring her most of the time, she felt relaxed, she felt comfortable. Kim was probably the only one who didn't want a favour from her. She was worth keeping around.

Her brother on the other hand was concerned, he didn't want his sister to break any rules. It was just the first day and she has already offended someone. They didn't need any scandals at this time, so he made a decision to send someone to watch over and prevent any and every thing that would adversely affect their family.
