Eternity Foxx: The Rise To Eternal Knowledge 15 Ch 15: A Brush Against Fate...

I could be wrong, but sometimes it is hard to get their absolute attention. At these times they frolic about like adolescents. It is humbling to witness them play though.

Not too many creatures play around in the land of the Jin. They are running away from something that wants their life usually. That, or they are the things that wants a life.

The smaller tribes are still scavenging the wastelands. The Devil clans are still plundering the markets. The tradesmen are still trading.

I learned that life exist like this now, because of the "Fallen Ones." Ex-Angels who have come here before being sent to the h.e.l.l fire. So that they could avoid The King's wrath.

That's stupid, because I don't think anything can avoid Him. That plus they become very dark after they lose their light. Some have returned from that, and others have not.

The ones who have not formed clans. They tried to imitate The King's philosophy outside the wall. It was as if they wanted to keep a piece of Heaven with them.

I'm not sure why they would want that. I mean isn't rebellion against The King's ways the whole reason for leaving Heaven?...

One day I was out on a hunt. I was tracking a large creature that was from the material realm. I couldn't tell it's level of intelligence. It was a studying exposition, and not a gaming exposition.

My area of sense went off. "Area of Sense" is what I called my perception ability at first. It gave me the ability to sense things in the area around me.

That area grew from about four feet around me. To roughly about 25 kilometers very fast. It always alerted me when something alive was near.

I had to hone it at first due to every lifeform in the area alerting me. I mean every single one, and it was annoying!

I had to take to meditate, and smooth out my detection. I still know when, and where everything is in my area of sense. I just learned to block out certain things.

I then learned how to feel the energies that was in it's range. Shortly after that, I learned which was light, and which was dark. It didn't take long to start predicting their movements once in range.

Mikhail says I'm starting to be like his Father. I laugh at him when he says this, and I always say "Your the one whose name says "is like G.o.d!"" He usually laughs with me, and says he got the name too soon.

"Do you have the time to be doing this right now?" The King's voice came to me.

"What are you talking about old man?" I said in response.

Just then I noticed a light coming from my bag. He was talking about the caravans! s.h.i.t, if I dont hurry I'm going to be late!

"I'm sure you're gone old man, but thank you." I felt a pain in my side at that moment.

I smiled, because I knew it was Him. We are always at each other. I know He is my friend as well...

I left for the place where I met the caravan so long ago. It was much easier to reach large distances now. I learned how to transcend normal s.p.a.ce in the realm.

I have learned to harness the force of my wings. I can do so in way that allows me to shatter the first layer of our realm. This layer is relevant to sound, and is known as the sound barrier.

I also can harness the ripple effect that happens s at that point..This allows me to shatter the second layer of our reality which is relevant to sight. It is the layer that causes vision in life.

When that happens, I release so much energy that I distort normal sight. Leaving behind an after image of my actions. This is handy in battle, so I tempered it at those times. I can use the ability in a fight, but I'm limited.

After the visual distortion, I shatter the third layer of our realm which is relevant to time. With the harnessed energy from sound shatter, the speed of visual shatter, and structured placement. I can skip moments in time.

Mikhail says I'm definitely faster then he is. Even though I'm not as strong as he is though. He told me he didn't want to fight me seriously. He said that I learn too fast to take on for a long time.

I'm not able to gain too much strength though. My small frame is to blame for some of that. I like being smaller, and faster though. Strength can be blinding in battle.

When I appeared in front of the caravan, the monk looked surprised.

"You're getting quite fast now. Did you decide to keep the name?"

There's that ability to p.i.s.s me off, while helping me. I just laughed at it this time, and he joined me.

"Yea, I'm going to keep the name. It's mine, and I like it still." I said as I sat next to him.

"At least you stick to your beliefs." He smiled at me, and patted my knee.

"I'm glad that you could accompany us again. I have heard stories about you in Heavem. Not all from Mikhail either."

So now the others are talking about me too. These guys don't know how to keep things to themselves do they? s.h.i.t, if they did, I wouldn't have learned nearly this much.

"What kind of things does my name bring up now a days?" I stretched my legs out, and made myself comfortable.

"They say that there is a Fox Demon that is teaching the Angel's on the outskirts."

What the f.u.c.k do they mean a "Foxx Demon?!" I'm not a demon, and "Fox" isn't even my name. Didn't Mikhail tell them it has two x's in it?

I know he meant "fox" like the sports, because he pointed to one that was in his lap. A d.a.m.n "Fox Demon," what f.u.c.k are they thinking about me?

"Well good, at least they won't come out, and try my patience." I responded in spite.

"Come now, is the Great "ETERNITY FOXX" upset over some name calling?"

"If so, are you sure you're not a demon?"

I looked at him with confusion on my face.

Why would he say something like that? I know anger isn't preferable in Heaven, but did I really seem that angry?

"No, I was just a little ticked that's all. I guess they believe all of the creatures on this side are evil things."

"Do they know that some of us didn't have a choice in being here?"

I said as I turned my shoulder to him. Which was wrong of me, but I don't like how they look down on us.

"Don't worry, I'm a friend, and I'm on your side. Why do you think we caravan outside the walls?"

"You can not teach those who don't want to learn. You also can not teach those who think they have nothing left to learn."

"Ignorance is with in us all to some degree. It is our duty to control our own level of ignorance."

He said to me, calming me down as he has done before. We have only met twice now, and he still seems to be the most understanding of them.

"Why is it that you're so easy to talk to?" I asked as I turned back to face him.

"Because i don't like to bulls.h.i.t people!"

I was completely shocked! Did the monk just use vulgarity?! I really like this guy!!

"Shocked to see me use such words? It's fine my friend. I did it to relate to how you think."

"Talking to someone is most effect if you know how they talk. Then one can relate any conversation to any topic!"

This guy is on a whole different level as a teacher then Mikhail is. He has all the right answers, and at the right moments. He has to be one of Heavens Kings.

"So if I want to get people to understand me better. I need to understand them better."

"This way I can converse with anyone at anytime. Is that what you're saying?"

He nodded his head, but put up a finger.

"You also need this to build better negotiations. I hear you're not too bad at that yourself."

He was right about that. My negotiating skills have vastly improved. So this whole time I have been doing something like this...

"Then why don't the Angels practice that teaching?"

He smiled at me, and picked up the fox spirit.

"Angels only have to follow The King's teachings. They do not have to follow anyone else's, but are permitted to."

"When an Angel comes to The King with a new type of teaching. They are allowed to build it."

"If others in Heaven begin to learn it. He gives you a tribe. Then if it bares fruits of hope with in that tribe."

"One can present themselves again in front of The King, and show their progress."

I was very intrigued by this information. You can do new things in Heaven, but with approval. I wonder what are the criteria for accepting your teachings?

"If The King accepts your progress, and sees equity in your teachings future. He will give you your own Kingdom in Heaven."

I can't even get in to Heaven, and here I was. Thinking about getting my own Kingdom with in Heavens walls. I can only image what that would be like.

"Are you a king in Heaven?"

He feels like he would be a king to me.

"Yes I am, and i still come out to practice what i preach!"

This guy is the real deal. I knew he had to be a great teacher. He is a good conversationalist.

"I would study your teachings. I like talking to you a lot my friend."

He smiled at that comment.

"You already are I believe. It seems as though you have been reading The King's book."

"I taught you how to do that did I not?"

I was startled, because I forgot all about the stuff he told me to do. I mean I did it, but I forgot it was by his instructions. That I had a place to start my process of learning truth.

"You are right about that my friend. I have been reading His book a lot since we last met."

I grabbed the bag, remembering that it is always with me. Even if I leave the bag in my cave. I carry its words with me everywhere.
