Yeah, really unhelpful. So with my bruised body and ego, I take a rest. Elyn hugging me gently from behind trying to avoid pressing on any of my many bruises. I a.s.sume this is Gavins paypack for me barely beating him the first time. He looks a bit too happy with himself at the outcome of the fight, so I find a wooden practice dagger from nearby and call for a rematch.

Apparently my bruising made me easier to tire and I am defeated a bit too swiftly and almost with a bit of vengence. I could barely get in my first few dodges before he rammed the practice shield at my head making me black out for a minute. The only upside I had gotten out of this was the second time the voice spoke in my head.

Well at least I'll be getting stupid slower than before. But I really don't plan on being hit around the head too much. It always made me wonder how those tough guys in sport could have their heads kicked in daily and not die from it. I think I remember reading one report about the guy who did though.

Going through a list of tools and skill I can think of, my streetwise habits might come in handy, or my knife skills which are well trained compared to people who are above average in this world. I try to run through most of the things I know from my world, but I never learnt how a fridge worked or anything complex enough to turn into something to sell. There is one new subject I've learnt recently though I should spend more time learning about though.
