A Hero's Multiverse 55 Chapter 53: Loki's Scepter

''There is no "man" in charge. Let's talk business...'' Says the robot, as the man gives the robot some from his stash. Seeing the metal, the robot says to Pietro. ''... Upon this rock, I will build my church. Vibranium.''

Smirking the man says. ''You know, it came at great personal cost. It's worth billions.''

Chuckling the robot says nothing as the one man's cellphone suddenly pings chowing a huge transaction to his bank account.

''Now, so are you. It's all under your dummy holdings? Finance is so weird. But I always say, 'keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which'."

Looking from the man, robot, and Pietro to Natasha, Ethen asks her. ''Care to explain this to me?''

''The tattooed man is Ulysses Klaue a smuggler, I guess the robot is Ultron and you must already know Pietro.'' Explains Natasha as the situation suddenly escalates and Klaue points his gun at Ultron.

''Tony Stark used to say that... to me. You're one of his.''

''What?! I'm not...!'' Ultron shouts as he grabs Klaue. ''... I'm not. Do you think I'm one of Stark's puppets, his hollow men? I mean look at me, do I look like Iron Man? Stark is nothing!...'' In his rage, the mad AI suddenly chops off Klaue's arm before calming down. ''... I'm sorry. I am so... Ooh, I'm sure that's going to be okay. I'm sorry, it's just I don't understand. Don't compare me with Stark!..'' Ultron kicks Klaue down some stairs. ''... It's a thing with me. Stark is, he's a sickness!''

From out of nowhere Stark appears in his Iron Man suit. ''Ahh, Junior...'' says Tony as a blond hammer welding man and Steve Rodgers appear behind him. ''... You're gonna break your old man's heart.''

Surprised to see the Avengers, Ultron says. ''If I have to.''

''We don't have to break anything.'' Says the blond man, electricity sparking on his hammer.

Shaking his head, Ultron says seriously. ''Clearly, you've never made an omelet.''

Irritated Stark says. ''He beat me by one second.''

Shaking his head in disgust, Pietro Maximov interrupts them by saying. ''Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like old times?''

Turning to the boy, Tony Stark tells him. ''This was never my life.''

Trying to defuse the situation, Steve Rogers tells Pietro. ''You can still walk away from this.''

''Oh, I will. But not without my sister! Where is Wanda?!'' Shouts Pietro as he turns into a streak of light.

''I am here brother!'' Says Wanda revealing herself to all, instantly stopping her brother from attacking the Avengers.

''Wanda?!...'' Shouts Pietro, surprise, shock and happiness apparent in his one shout, before he suddenly freezes mid-motion. As Pietro's eyes turn hazy, one can see Ultron wearing Loki's scepter standing behind him.

Suddenly the Iron Legions crashes through the ceiling attacking everybody. Meanwhile Stark attacks Ultron. As the robot hands, the scepter to the Speedster and his Iron Legions are fighting with Stark, Steve, and Thor.

Seeing the chaos of Klaues men, the Avengers, and Ultron Iron Legion, Ethen tells Natasha. ''You protect Wanda, while I try my luck getting that either...''

Seeing Ethen already on the move, Natasha nods while rushing beside Wanda who is currently fighting three Legionnaires at the same time. Activating the Witchblade, her black catsuit is instantly torn apart, revealing the sharp bony bikini beneath it. Looking at her on embarra.s.sing clothing, Natasha tells herself. ''Just awesome. I look like a stripper!''

Meanwhile, Ethen spots Pietro, scepter in hand being knocked down by Steve. Looking down at the boy Captain America tells him. ''Stay down, kid!''

As Ethen is about to s.n.a.t.c.h the scepter, Ultron tells Pietro. ''It's time for some mind control.''

Nodding in understanding, the speedster s.n.a.t.c.hes the scepter before rushing out of Ethens field of vision.

''G.o.d damm it.'' Ethen curses his lack of powers. Turning around, he sees Stark cornering Ultron.

Smirking the robot tells his creator. ''Ah, the Vibranium and the scepter are getting away.''

Pointing his repulsor at Ultron's face, Tony says. ''And you're not going anywhere.''

''Of course not, I'm already there. You'll catch on...'' Says Ultron in his superiority laced voice. ''... But first, you might need to catch Dr. Banner.'' As Stark angrily shoots Ultron, a green monster wreaking havoc comes jumping through the already damaged roof instantly aiming at Wanda. Just when the Hulk is about to crush the girl, Natasha jumps in front of her. Surprisingly Natasha is able to go toe to toe with the green monster buy blocking his attack. By now her bikini armor has transformed itself into a full suite of razor-sharp body armor.

Seeing his own blood while crushing down on the woman, Hulk starts to panic and retreats a step back. Using the Opportunity, Natasha spins around and kicks the green giant out of the sc.r.a.p yard and into the city.

''Ups!..'' Says the spy as she sees Hulk now wreaking havoc in the city. ''... I didn't know that I was that strong.''

Seeing footage of Hulk destroying the nearby city, Tony tells Steve. ''I'm calling in VERONICA.''

As Hulk continues to wreaking havoc on the nearest city Ethen sees Stark Tony equipping his Hulkbuster armor.

Hearing sounds from behind him, Ethen turns around, finding Klaue pointing his gun at him shouting. ''You freaks! I will have you pay for what you did to my business!''

Without any further warning, Klaue pulls the trigger shooting Ethen. As the bullets. .h.i.t him, Ethen only feels a slight tickle on his face and chest, before he hears the remnants of bullets. .h.i.t the floor. Surprised, that his invulnerability is still up and running, Ethen smirks at Klaue. ''Oh, now you are in a world of pain...''

When Wanda and Natasha find Ethen a short time later, Klaue is lying in a puddle of his own blood still breathing and Ethen is checking out Klaues handguns.

''Ethen are you okay?'' Asks Wanda not looking at the b.l.o.o.d.y artwork.

Looking up from the handguns and at the two women, Ethens angry glare slowly subsides. ''Yes, I am now. Thanks to Klaue here I now know for sure that I am still invulnerable...''

Ethens answer is cut short, as the Hulk starts throwing cars at Stark before they throwing each other around. Seeing then they battle it out more, Stark seems to struggle in beating the Hulk.

''... If only I had my strength back.''

''I have got an idea...'' Says Wanda suddenly turning to Ethen. ''... Do you trust me?''

Without hesitation, Ethen tells her. ''Yes.''

''Good...'' Turning to Natasha still wearing her s.e.xy bone blade armor, Wanda tells her. ''... Can you help Stark a bit and get us some more time?''

''With this armor...'' Natasha says, showing off the retractable blades on her right arm. ''... Sure I can but I better get Betty first.''

''Whatever, just get us some time!'' Says Wanda, as she starts using her powers on Ethen, transporting herself into her lover's mind.

Seeing her own lover being intimate with another woman, a hint of jealousy rises in Natasha's heart, as she climbs up the outer walls of the ship by ramming her claws into the metal. As she does she suppresses her emotions and focusses at the task at hand.

Reaching the top, Natasha finds Betty nocked unconscious beside the Quinjet. Hearing another explosion, while also listening hearing the Avengers group chat, she sees Hulk destroyed one of Stark's armor arms as VERONICA sends in a new Hulkbuster armor arm. Stark instantly uses it to repeatedly punch Hulk, saying. ''Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep!...'' Picking up Hulk Tony tells the dased giant. ''... Okay, pal, we're gonna get you out of town.''
