A Hero's Multiverse 49 Chapter 47: Godslayer Swordspear

''Pervert what are you...'' Wanda screams after seeing Ethen stand in the doorway. ''... Doing here, get out!''

''No time for long explanation...'' States Ethen, while checking out Wanda's body, as she is currently only wearing a flimsy see-through nightgown. Shacking his head and reminding that there is almost no time left, he tells her. ''... Get dressed, we have to go!''

Having just exited the bathroom and only dressed in a tight short white bathrobe, Natasha asks. ''Go where?''

''Back down, we have to...'' Before Ethen can complete his sentence, he is already attacked by Kal, crushing through the ceiling, slamming Ethen through the floor and into the outer s.p.a.ce.

Nearly losing the kryptonite dagger in the process, Ethen instinctively stores it in his storage s.p.a.ce, instantly hearing Silver announced. ''Combine weapons to create G.o.dslayer Swordspear?''

Before Ethen can tell Silver what to do Kal is already in front of him, striking him back down to earth at Mach 3. Feeling the air burn his skin upon entry into the atmosphere, he instructs Silver. -Just do it.-

That said, Ethen stabilizes himself in s.p.a.ce devoid of air. As he does, a streak of red light comes flying his way. Knowing it to be Kal, most likely more enraged than ever since the kryptonite vanished, Ethen tries to remember the exact location of his families fortress on earth.

While Ethen and Kal are fighting, Wanda and Natasha have to deal with the aftermath, as the air of the room is steadily being sucked out of the room. Making some hand gestures, Wanda creates an energy barrier stopping the air from leaving the room. With the breach being patched for the moment and the air pressure returning, both women take a deep breath.

''What the h.e.l.l was that Kal attacking Ethen?...'' Asks Wanda deeply disturbed. ''... Why would he attack us?''

''I am not sure about that, but it was definitely Kal who attacked Ethen...'' States Natasha, while getting dressed in her black catsuit. ''... What are you waiting for? Get yourself dresses!''

Looking down on herself only now does Wanda realize how revealing her closing those reveals. Blushing, like a tomato, she tells the spy. ''s.h.i.t. Did Ethen see me dressed like that? I mean the room was awfully dark...''

Smirking like a cat, her bodysuit not fully zipped, revealing her cleavage, Natasha tells her. ''Oh, he did see you...'' Stepping closer, she slightly caresses Wandas double Bs, sending a warm shiver down the gypsies spine. Seeing Wanda close her eyes and lean into her touch, Natasha tells her. ''... Good, you will be a perfect fit...''

That said, the erotic mood between the two women is instantly destroyed, as Natasha hears some guards come rushing down the corridor. Zipping her suit, the spy steps outside, telling Wanda before the door closes. ''... Now get dressed while I will take care of the guards.''

While Natasha and Wanda are fighting their way to the docking area, Ethen, still unable to retrieve his new weapon from his storage s.p.a.ce, because of successive attacks from Kal, finally crashes through the ceiling of the Fortress of Solitude. Finally able to take a breath, he retrieves his new weapon from the storage s.p.a.ce, while standing up. At once a golden three-meter long spear/sword hybrid weapon, crossguard included appears in Ethens right hand.

(Silver) ''G.o.dslayer Swordspear thanks to its unique composition is able to transform between sword and spear.''

Hearin Silvers explanation in his head, Ethen sees Kal slowly descending through the hole in the crystal ceiling. ''I really hoped that you would be willing to help me establish longlasting peace, but now I will simply force you!''

That said, Kal tries to once again pummel Ethen into oblivion, only this time his plan fails. Seeing through the High Councilors attack pattern, Ethen simply avoids the incoming attack, slamming his spear directly into the men unguarded back. To his own surprise, the blade of the spear, despite penetrating the cape, gets stuck in it. Not able to remove his spear, Ethen decides to drill his weapon deeper. As he does, he realizes that he is stabbing air, as a sudden strick already lands on his face, sending him through a wall. Crashing through the wall Ethen accidentally lets go of his weapon, blacking out for a second, since Kryptonian crystal is many times harder than anything available on earth.

Regaining his consciousness when slamming on the floor, Ethen looks up, only to find a big chested, muscular, half-naked and unconscious short haired blond, chained to an 'X' shaped cross.

Looking into the woman's face, Ethen recognizes her as a younger version of his aunt Kara. Shock and disbelief audible in his voice, Ethen asks. ''Aunti Kara?''

That said, Ethen instantly feels incoming danger. Relying on his intuition, he instantly rolls flyes to his right and half a meter into the air. Repositioned, Ethen finds Kal not entirely depowered by the golden kryptonite included in the G.o.dslayer Swordspeer, welding it to kill. Having avoided the deadly stab, Ethen instinctively grapes for his now cape free weapon, instinctively disarming Kal, shouting at him. ''What have you done to Kara you son of a b.i.t.c.h?!''

Finding himself out of a weapon, Kal instead of answering Ethen simply runs away. Torn between wanting to punish Kal and freeing Kara, his appreciation for the female form out ways his own blood l.u.s.t and Ethen turns to Kara.

Transforming his spear into a sword, Ethen uses it to destroy the shackles holding his 'aunt' in place. Checking her vitals by using his super senses, he finds her largely unharmed except for some scarring in her brain, where some needles must have been placed once. Only now with Kara in his arms does Ethen realize how few she is actually wearing. Aside from some pieces of fabric covering the essentials, Kara is mostly naked.

Finding the torn cape nearby, he swiftly covers her, thinking. -f.u.c.k, she really is pretty hot!-

Once again feeling incoming danger, Ethen decides to face it, knowing that doing otherwise would endanger the woman in his arms. Bracing himself for impact, he feels a sword plunge into his back. Coving some blood, Ethen feels his left lung fill up with blood, as the blade nearly exits through his chest, screaming Kara. Turning abruptly around, facing his attacker, Ethen gets lucky as the blade isn't able to sever his backbone instantly. Bleeding profusely, Ethen finds Kal dressed in a grey metal armor suit, wielding a golden blade.

Looking at the blade, Silver informs him. ''Power Level above user detected... The object identified as the 'Sword of Superman'.''

Recognizing the blade himself, Ethen curses mentally. -Great, just what I needed a weapon of ma.s.s destruction in the hands of a madman!-

While Ethen is fighting Kal welding a sword that makes him far more powerful than previously, including making him connected to and able to control the entire universe throughout all of the time, Natasha and Wanda meet up with two familiar faces.

Taken aback and a bit suspicious, Natasha asks ''Carol, Tonya? What are you doing here? How did you find us?''

''Miss Marvell here had a hunch that you might need some help...'' Starts Tonya to explain. ''... Also, my armor and Ethens are both symbiotic and able to track each other throughout time and s.p.a.ce. Where is he anyway?''

Seeing people not hostile towards her, Wanda tells Carol and Tonya. ''We don't know. One moment he was standing before us and the next he was gone and the floor and seeling where damaged!''

''Okay, one thing after the other...'' Starts Carol, trying to calm down the situation, as Damian armed with a rocket launcher suddenly appears at the other end of the corridor, shouting. ''Death to the Enemy! Long life the Regime!''

That said, the rock hits a wall near the four friends, instantly sending them outside. As Tony's and Carol's armors instantly activate s.p.a.ce mode, engaging their helmets, Natasha and Wanda are less fortunate. Thanks to Carol being close to her when getting sucked into s.p.a.ce, Wanda is instantly enveloped in a protective barrier, while Natasha is instantly paralyzed and dying. Before Tonya is able to reach her, her heart has already stopped beating for a few seconds.

As Tonya retrieves the seemingly dead body of the spy, the black catsuit Natasha was wearing is instantly disintegrated, as silver and golden suit of armor gets reviled. Hesitating to touch her friend, Tonya is shocked to find Natasha suddenly breathing again...
