A Hero's Multiverse 26 Chapter 25: Great Minds Think Alike

While the operation on the Lemurian Star is happening, Tonja decides to fly around New York, wanting to know the differences between this reality and hers. Flying into Manhatten, she notices aside from most building still being in reconstruction a single high-rise building complex at 200 Park Avenue at East 45th Street above Grand Central Terminal in Midtown. Aside from the obvious damages done to it, it looks somewhat familiar.

Checking out the mostly destroyed STARK logo on the side of the building, of which only the A seems to still be functioning, Tonja decides to have a look inside. Landing on a protruding balcony, she retracts her Armor, revealing her casual clothing beneath. Once again wearing a bra, tank top, and hotpants, Tonja looks more like a college student than the high powered genius CEO of her world.

Despite being 35 years old, thanks to 'Little Black' unique features, she looks no older than 21, 23 tops. Dressed like a college student, she serenely saunters inside building. Aside from the very obvious signs of fighting, the place looks still pretty good. Walking into the open kitchen, to get a gla.s.s of water, Tonja is surprised to hear a very familiar voice.

''Tony is that you? I thought you were still in Malibu!...'' Says a very exhausted sounding Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, as she comes downstairs. ''... I know you are there! I heard your boosters...''

Pepper instantly freezes and stops talking, seeing Tonja still standing in the kitchen, filling up a gla.s.s of water. ''... Who are you? How did you get here? Are you one of Tony's new boy toys?''

Surprised to see a familiar but different looking Pepper, Tonja remains silent, while Pepper rambles on. ''Here I am heartbroken about the a.s.shole and he already has a young college student waiting for him!''

Seeing Pepper break out in tears, Tonja can't keep silent. ''I am a friend of Tony's... I am his cousin Tonja Stark?''

''Tony doesn't have a cousin...'' States Pepper, stopping her tears while scanning Tonjas face. ''... But you really look somewhat alike.''

''Yeah, well...''Says Tonja, stumbling on her own lie. ''... I am much better looking than him, don't you think?''

Laughing Pepper says. ''Now I might just believe you are his cousin. You are just as narcissistic as him!''

''I would call that natural charm...'' Says Tonja sarcastic, unable to keep herself from flirting with this version of Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, that hat a familiar feel, but different appearance. ''... Maybe you should make a more 'in-depth' comparison between Tony and me.''

Before Pepper can answer that, the sound of boosters can be heard outside, followed shortly after by Tony Stark sauntering in, saying. ''Pepper I know we said no more Iron Man, but...''

Seeing Tonja, Tony instantly shuts up, as nausea a.s.saults him. Being attacked by nausea herself, Tonja is also unable to say anything aside from rubbing her forehead to lessen the pain. Before long both collapse onto the floor, as their individual consciousness is unable to hold on to reality.

While Tonja and Ethen are gone, Deadpool, Brokk, and Sindri are finishing up a project of their own.

''This last screw and we are done...'' Says Sindri, as he is fastening a metal ring around Pools neck. ''... See all done!''

Excited Waide asks. ''How do I use it?''

''It connects to your remaining nervous system, so I guess you simply have to do it!'' Explains Sindri.

Trying to follow his non-advice, Deadpool is able to have his head float up from the altar and. a human body manifests itself below his neck. Just before the body is completed, a red light lightens up on the metal collar and the skull hits the floor.

''s.h.i.t that hurts!...'' Complains Pool, as he is lolling around on the floor. ''... What happened?''

Crossing his arms before his chest, Brokk guesses. ''I guess a full-fledged human body is too much for the for the matter inducer and its power source.''

Picking up the skull from the floor, Sindri tells Wade. ''Try something smaller!''

''How small?....'' asks Pool. ''... Your d.i.c.k size small or just below 50cm?''

Nodding Brokk says. ''I will not comment in dwarfen d.i.c.k sizes, but below 50cm should work.''

''Great!...'' Says Pool while using this matter inductor to reshape his body. ''... What was the name of the cute yellow mouse that untalented guy Ryan Something Something was voice acting again? I know it was not called 'p.u.s.s.y-Magnet' despite it might as well be.''

That said, Pool turns into a small, chubby, and incredibly cute mouse-like almost completely covered in yellow for the creature. Long yellow ears that are tipped with black, two brown stripes and a large tail in the shape of a lightning bolt, as well disappearance-shaped red pouches, appear on his cheeks.

''Atsuko Nishida be praised!...'' Shouts Deadpool at the end of his transformation. ''... From now on call me Pickapool!''

''Now that our part of the deal is fulfilled, you have to help us designing these androids.'' States Brokk, eager to see the design the skull turned mouse owes them.

''s.h.i.t now I am regretting telling you guys about Dragonball...'' States Pickapool, while given a pen and paper. Before long two drawings t.i.tled Android 18 and Android 21, as well as an unfinished one, appear before the two dwarfs. Mesmerized by the drawings, Brokk s.n.a.t.c.hes the drawing of 'Android 18' while Sindri the one of 'Android 21'.

''Habahaba... I want her!'' States Sindri simultaneously to Brokk saying. ''18 is mine. Whoever wants her has to fight me first.''

Finishing his third drawing Pickapool says. ''Gentlemen... Please... These two beauties are yours when you finish building them... Since you seem to love them so much are you satisfied with the deal?''

Smiling Brokk says. ''Very much. It feels like we are ripping you off.''

Feeling the same as his brother, Sindri asks. ''I feel so, too. Is there anything you want in addition to that collar?''

Smirking Pickapool shows them his third drawing with two s.l.u.tty twins embracing each other t.i.tled 'Mary and Kate Holesome'.

''Aah, I see Mr. Pickapool is a man of Culture as well...''

Shortly after collapsing both Tonja and Tony Stark awaken. Being handed cold, clear water by Pepper, both of them have a mild headache.

Looking at Tonja, while Pepper is gone for a moment, Tony tells Tonja. ''I know you are not my cousin. My best guess is that you are me, but I don't know how that would be possible!''

''The world is bigger and more mysterious than you think...'' Says Tonja, taking a sip of water before continuing. ''... What just happened to us?... I guess it could be some kind of 'Resonance Effect'...''

Unable to follow the woman's train of thought, Tony asks. ''What? Resonance?!''

''Okay, let me explain...'' Says Tonja before she starts explaining the Multiverse Concept as she understands it to Tony.

Just like this more than three hours have gone by without them noticing.

''So I guess I understand it now... Our lives are mostly identical to each other except that you are currently younger than me...'' States Tony, having understood most of what Tonja told him. ''... G.o.d... Yinsen... I had nearly forgotten him... Now I believe that you are me. I never told anybody about Yinsen.''

''I miss him, too...'' States Tonja, the memory of Yinsen still fresh in her mind. ''... So now, what happened to us?''

Smirking Tony says. ''I have a theory, so let's test it out!... Jarvis?''

(Jarvis) ''Yes, Sir?''

Curious what her male counterpart has in mind, Tonja asks. ''What do you want to do?''

Ignoring Tonja, Tony asks Jarvis.''Are the Biolabs refurbished and usable?''

(Jarvis) ''Bio lab 1 to 3 are currently still under reconstruction, but bio lab 4 is already refurbished.''

Nodding Tony says. ''Good. Tonja?''

''Let me guess you want to compare the bioelectric coefficiency of your DNA and test if our blood is capable of merging...'' Half asks, halfe states Tonja.

Smirking Tony says. ''Great minds think alike.''
