Stand User in Marvel Universe Chapter 766

Chapter 766

Barton stood on top of the Quantum Tunnel machine that Tony’s team had created, ready for the first-time travel in human history! If this test were successful, then their plan to heist the Infinity Stones beyond the timescape would be feasible, but at the same time, Barton would be trapped in the past without any way to return if this experiment failed!

“Are you ready Barton?” Hulk asked. Barton took a deep breath and nodded as he covered his face with the mask from the helm. 

“Countdown begins in 3, 2, 1!” Hulk said before he pulled the trigger. 

Clint instantly felt nauseous as he felt the world disappeared below his feet. Meanwhile, everyone was waiting nervously as this experiment determined their next step!

On the other hand, Barton was led by the Time Travel Navigator that Tony had made, and thus he vigilantly traversed the Quantum World to reach his destination. He finally arrived and was instantly pushed back to the real world. He squatted on the ground to check his surroundings while regaining back his sense as he now realised that Time Travel definitely wasn’t a comfortable experience. 

“Where is this?” Clint said as he further looked around, but he finally figured out that everything looked remarkably similar! The messy wooden boards that made up the warehouse, the tractor, the straw, and the old baseball glove on the ground! This was his house! Where he spent his time with his family and where his family disappeared without a trace!

He looked inside the house and saw what he was searching all these years. 

“Cooper! Where is my headphone!” A girl’s voice was heard from inside the house.

“I don’t know, I didn’t take it!” A boy voice was heard this time.

“It must be you! You had it yesterday!” The girl said accusingly. 

Barton’s heart beat faster as he listened to the voice inside the house, it was his family’s voice for sure! 

“Laila!” Barton shouted as he desperately opened the door, but the Time Travel watch that he wore suddenly ticked and he was thrown into the Quantum World once again. 

“Daddy?” The girl said as she walked to the front door as she heard her daddy’s voice. It was only a few seconds after Barton disappeared back into the Quantum World! She quickly turned around and returned to her room as she discovered that her daddy wasn’t there.

“Laila!” Barton shouted as he returned to the original timeline. He knelt on the ground while holding his head and trying to recollect himself. Obviously, the physical and mental exertion of going through the Quantum World twice in a brief period of time was huge, but thanks to the special suit that Tony had made, it didn’t cause a lasting damage on Barton’s mind.

“Dude! Look at me! are you okay?” Dio asked as he rushed towards Barton’s side. He didn’t have any means to help Barton recover right now as he already used up his [Golden Experience] Temporary Card before and the Little Snail also already sacrificed itself for Dio recovery in the past!

“I am fine! I think we succeed!” Barton said as he lifted his head up and looked at the crowd. He looked at the old baseball glove that he retrieved from the ground earlier as a reminder that the time travel was a success! This meant that they should continue with their plan!

“Guys! I think we have to hold a meeting to discuss how our plan should be implemented!” Dio said as he helped him get back on his feet.

The brainstorming would begin inside the conference room and Dio, as always, became the leader of this meeting.

“Now, the method for our next step has been found and successfully evaluated! The next question would be the time and place of the Infinity Stones in the past!” Dio leading the meeting was already a given as he was the most accustomed with the Infinity Stones’ whereabout. He also held some exclusive information that other didn’t know about! 

“Almost each one of us has been exposed to one if not more Infinity Stones in the past or to put it simply each of us would have some rough idea of where to start!” Dio said as he further proved his point of the meeting. “Nevertheless, we only have a limited Pym Particle in our hand, thus limiting our travel! For now, it is enough for us to go back and forth once!” Dio said solemnly.

“That is surely a point to remember! Even if the Infinity Stones intertwined with our lives many times in the past, we must make a choice to the best time and place for our plan to succeed!” Tony said solemnly.

“Yes, that is exactly right! Now, let’s talk about the Aether first! Thor, did you have any idea about it?” Dio said as he looked at Thor expectantly. But he only heared an embarra.s.sing snore coming from Thor’s side.

“Uh, did he fall asleep?” Natasha said helplessly as he looked at the Fat Thor who fall asleep still holding onto the gla.s.s of beer on his chair.

“He looks like a dead man to me!” Rhodey said as he sighed exasperatedly. 

“Just let him be! Now, let me tell you what I know about the Aether or rather, the Reality Stone! When this thing first showed up, I am also right there, partic.i.p.ating on minimizing the damage it caused to the world.” Dio said while pinching the top of his nose, trying to stay calm.

Dio began explaining in detail what had happened in the past and about all characteristics of the Aether that he knew of. Of course, he also explained the Dark Elves’ characteristic in detail. 

He finally mentioned about how he killed the leader of the Dark Elf and transported the Aether to the Collector himself after it was all over. 

“So, we have several points to choose. The first is when Jane first got the Aether in London and the other was when she was taken to Asgard before the Dark Elves invasion!” Steve said as he summarized Dio’s narrative.
