"That b.i.t.c.h needs to die," the female voice growled with anger.
KoKo turned her head slightly in the direction of the voice.
"Just be patient. We need the rest of the guests to arrive so we can start the party." Mr. Fucciano stated with a smirk hugging the corner or his mouth.
KoKo heard the accent and knew exactly who it was, but everything was still a puzzle to her.
"Here you go," KoKo heard a strong deep voice ring out, and then she felt something being thrown in front of her.
KoKo gazed down to see it was a body, but she couldn't make out who it was.
"She tried to hang in there, but I guess her heart ain't as strong as her Boss's," he taunted. "The other one we let go, but not before having fun with her," they laughed in unison.
Vomit rose in KoKo's throat as she realized that one of her girls was lying there, but she couldn't tell which one. "Please don't let it be Goldie," she mumbled thinking of her promises. Tears wanted to escape her eyes, but she wouldn't let them fall; they had stolen enough and weren't getting s.h.i.t else.
Within minutes, she heard what sounded like a garage door opening then many different patterns of footsteps.
"What the f.u.c.k?" she heard Kayson say from only feet away from her.
Kayson and Baseem stood with their arms out as they were patted down. Kayson put his arms to his side and scoped out the surroundings as he moved closer to where they stood. Baseem was close behind counting the heads and visualizing how face he could blow them off their shoulders.
"Welcome to the party, Mr. Wells; as you can see, we started without you." Dutchess stated with a smile on her face.
Kayson eyed the room locking eyes with his father and his made b.i.t.c.h; then Mr. Luccini and his team and Mr. Fucciano and his team. He looked at the men that were lined up around the room holding semi-automatic weapons and then back at his wife. But nothing touched him more than the sight of Goldie laying there lifeless.
Baseem's heart pumped hard against his chest when he looked down and saw Goldie lying in a puddle of blood in front of KoKo. His hands shook as he looked at her beaten body and face. Kayson didn't say a word; he just stared at Mr. Fucciano.
"The problem with men like you is, you always believe you can't be touched," he said as he loaded his colt revolver.
"Please excuse my son, he was raised by a wh.o.r.e so he is very tender on b.i.t.c.hes," Tyquan stated, lighting the end of his cigar.
Kayson wanted to reach for his gun and make it rain bullets and body parts; but the safety of his wife and family was far more important, so he remained silent; waiting for his opportunity to pounce.
"I am surprised that the man with many profound words has nothing to say." Mr. Fucciano moved over to KoKo. He pointed the gun at her head and continued. "The worse thing a man can do in this business is expose his heart," he pulled the hood off KoKo's head, grabbed her hair tightly in his palm and pressed the gun to her temple.
Baseem jumped and Kayson grabbed his arm to stop him. "Just wait," he said on a low tone.
"Let your dog loose, Mr. Wells. I have been dying to see his face. I believe the young woman called out for him several times," he continued to taunt them.
"You wanted me. Now you have me," Kayson based and his deep voice bounced against the brick walls.
"I don't want you, Mr. Wells. I want everything that they think you are."
Kayson looked over at KoKo and his heart felt as if it crumbled in his chest. One of her eyes was swollen completely shut and the other was on its way. The beauty that usually set the room on fire was covered with cuts and bruises. There she was tied up like an animal, d.a.m.n near naked and kneeling in her own p.i.s.s and blood.
Kayson didn't say a word.
Tyquan looked on in antic.i.p.ation. "Let me at least introduce you to your replacement," Tyquan said, looking over to the shadow.
When the man walked out, Baseem felt his hand ache for his gun. He tightened his fist struggling to wait for Kayson to give the order.
"I don't need an introduction. This n.i.g.g.a knows who I am," Rock said as he took his place near Tyquan and his mother.
"Oh, you've met?" he asked with a smile on his face.
"Nah, let's just say we ate from the same plate once," he said, looking down at KoKo.
"Did I forget to mention that he is a Wells?" Tyquan asked, pulling on his cigar.
Kayson looked at Rock then at KoKo; he swallowed his spit, forced a smile to his face, then went in. "You think this s.h.i.t can break me? m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka, every man on my team knows what it is. If they gotta be sacrificed, then that is what the f.u.c.k it is." He looked down on her once more.
"Oh, so your wife doesn't matter?" he asked, pulling one in the chamber.
"She is replaceable p.u.s.s.y," Kayson spat. "Now if it's business you called me down here for, then do what you gotta do so we can get to it."
"You hear that my dear? He is willing to have you replaced," he pulled KoKo's head back and looked down into her beaten face, trying to steal her emotions, but there were none left.
Anger filled KoKo's chest as the words left Kayson's mouth. She looked up into his unwavering eyes and the coldness that stared back at her chilled her to the bone.
"Don't play with that b.i.t.c.h. Kill her," Dutchess said as saliva filled her mouth. "We have been playing with these two long enough." She tightened her jaw then slammed her fist in her palm.
"Don't worry Ma, let this happen. Plus she is used to being on her knees. After this maybe me and my brother can both bend her over." Rock threw his offer at Kayson.
"I might have got excited about your offer, but I'm playing with the memory of your mother sucking my d.i.c.k." Kayson stated smoothly looking Rock in his eyes.
Rock's Brow creased. "Is that right?"
"Let me know if you need the details." Kayson spat venom in Rock's direction.
"Look at this both my sons soft on the same b.i.t.c.h. Who knew," Tyquan chuckled. "I guess I didn't give y'all enough Boss in your blood."
"Just be patient. I'ma show you my Boss in a minute," Kayson said then turned his attention back to Mr. Fucciano.
"I hate to break up this little reunion but we have some b.i.t.c.hes to kill," he stated in his thick accent while holding the gun to KoKo's temple.
"Well get to it. I'm losing money," Kayson spat with clenched teeth.
"Since she don't mean s.h.i.t to you. Why don't you pull the trigger?"
"No problem." He moved in her direction.
"Noooo...he does not get to end her life on his terms. She killed my son." Dutchess yelled from Tyquan's side. "This isn't the plan. What are you doing?" she asked rushing over to Mr. Fucciano.
"b.i.t.c.h, you were never in my plans," Tyquan said then shot Dutchess in the back.
Dutchess fell over holding her gut tight. She looked down at the blood seeping through her fingers and opened her mouth to scream but could not. "You promised me," she gasped as her chest heaved for air as it filled with fluid.
"b.i.t.c.h, ain't no honor amongst thieves," he said then put one in her head. He turned back in Kayson's direction. "Don't worry son, she deserved death." Tyquan said emotionlessly to Rock as he stared at his mother's dead body.
Rock bit into his bottom lip and squeezed his sweaty palms tight.
"I got s.h.i.t to do; so if you're going to kill her then do it and get it over with," Kayson said without emotion as he stared down on KoKo with evil in his eyes.
KoKo's brow creased then she lowered her head. Thoughts of her children filled her mind as she closed her eyes and prepared for her final seconds.
"Take her life then. And it will seal all our deals," Mr. Fucciano said. "Plus, she's damaged goods; no man should want to eat anything another man has chewed up and spit out."
"Kill me," she whispered.
Mr. Fucciano looked down at her. "What was that?"
She lifted her head and looked up at Kayson. "Kill me!" she yelled, causing her voice to send a chilling echo throughout the room.
"b.i.t.c.h, f.u.c.k you," Kayson growled.
"No, f.u.c.k you! I would rather die now then live a thousand deaths by your side. Now do it, punk m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka!" she screamed.
Mr. Fucciano handed Kayson his gun and stood back with victory and pride beaming from his eyes.
Tyquan stood and watched each piece move across the board like a well-tuned orchestra. He was almost there, he could taste the money on his tongue.
"Like I said, no problem." He then raised his hand and put the gun to her forehead. "Sleep well, b.i.t.c.h," he uttered, then pulled the trigger.
KoKo heard his words then the shot; but the numbness that moved through her body blocked out all images. She looked down into Goldie's face as she blinked back tears of regret. Her eyes fluttered as the many emotions coursed through her veins. She was ready to surrender her soul until she heard several other shots ring out which jolted her from her daydream. Mr. Fucciano fell beside her, then Baseem put one in each of his bodyguards and they fell like hot bricks. Mr. Luccini smiled as he watched the compet.i.tion go down in a blaze of gun fire.
Kayson reached down and untied his wife and pulled her to her feet. Baseem took off his jacket and put it over KoKo's battered body. Kayson peered down at Mr. Fucciano as he took his last breaths. His eyes were filled with fear and confusion and he surrendered it all to the Boss.
"Are you ready to do business, Mr. Wells?" Luccini asked from his left side.
Kayson stood briefly staring down at Mr. Fucciano then he spoke. "It was always business." He raised his head then glared an evil eye in his direction. "These n.i.g.g.as right here tried to make it personal." He waved his gun in the direction of the dead bodies. "At any rate, I'ma Wells man; we don't share our throne." He put one in Luccini's throat and one in his heart. He then turned his gun on Rock.
For a brief moment Rock felt safe until Mr. Luccini's men took their places behind Kayson leaving Rock standing alone.
"So, is this what it is KoKo? I handed you all these m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kas." Rock said as heat moved through his body.
"m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka, I don't know you." KoKo spat adjusting her weight on her wobbling legs.
"I think you know me very well." Rock grabbed his d.i.c.k.
"n.i.g.g.a please. That soft meat between your thighs don't excite me. I have a p.u.s.s.y of my own," She spat out blood in his direction. "But you can share it with Diablo, she loves to eat p.u.s.s.y." KoKo revealed that she knew Rock put Diablo on her Night. She grabbed the gun from Kayson's hand and pumped Rock's chest with some hot s.h.i.t. "Slimy m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka."
Rock's eyes widened then his body jolted from side to side as each bullet entered then exited. He hit the floor and his feet twitched as the energy left his limbs.
"Congratulations son, we did it," Tyquan said clapping his hands and moving towards Kayson.
Kayson's brow creased and lips tightened. "I told you ain't no f.u.c.kin' we between us," Kayson growled as he eased the gun from KoKo's grip.
Tyquan's semi-smile turned into a frown as he stopped in mid-stride. "Sheiiitt...n.i.g.g.a you better remember that I made you. I kept you safe all these years. It's my power that keeps you on top." Tyquan based in Kayson's direction.
"You let them touch my wife," Kayson said through clenched teeth.
"You better make that b.i.t.c.h man up, she knows what this is. She signed up for the same s.h.i.t we did." He unfastened the b.u.t.tons on his blazer. "It's about this money son. Her p.u.s.s.y was meant to be played with; you f.u.c.ked around and fell in love."
Kayson pulled KoKo behind him and tightened his grip on the gun as he moved closer to his father.
"What? You can't touch me. All this s.h.i.t belongs to me. All of it." He yelled as he began to move in Kayson's direction sliding his hand to his lower back.
The two men closed in the s.p.a.ce between them with hatred and rage. Each standing in front of a throne that they refused to surrender. Kayson drew his gun and Tyquan drew his. They stopped only inches from each other with their heat rested firm against their thigh. Kayson looked into his father's dark hazel eyes and cringed to at the thought of them sharing the same blood. Tyquan also cringed to know he was standing in front of a younger more deadly version of him with a fire burning in his soul for power and revenge.
"You don't mean s.h.i.t to me. But on the strength of my mother I would not kill my father. But today, I break all promises," Kayson spoke firm as the heat from his eyes pierced into Tyquan's soul.
Tyquan's hand shook as he began to settle with the idea of death. There was nowhere to hide, his temptations and greed had delivered him right into the palm of its merciless hands.
Tyquan swallowed his spit chuckled then stated his peace. "These m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kas right here." He waved his hand at the men that stood behind Kayson. "They fear you. I don't give a f.u.c.k what you call yourself. I gave you all this f.u.c.kin' power." He leaned in causing their noises to almost touch.
"All this belongs to me. I say when it's over. You owe me m.u.t.h.af.u.c.ka," Tyquan grabbed Kayson by the neck of his shirt. Kayson grabbed his wrist and at the same time both men brought their guns to the air. Kayson put his gun to Tyquan's mouth and Tyquan rested his at Kayson's temple.
Kayson heard the ringing of bullets being lodged in chambers and ordered. "Everybody stand the f.u.c.k down!"
Baseem slightly lowered his weapon and the men did the same.
"Is this what you wanted?" Kayson yelled.
"h.e.l.l yeah. I want to see who you are," Tyquan growled back. "You ain't no boss. You hide behind the skirt of a b.i.t.c.h," Tyquan spat.
"I am trying not to blow your m.u.t.h.af.u.c.kin' head off," Kayson said through clenched teeth.
"Do it. Do it. Do it!" Tyquan yelled back as the two bulls locked eyes and grips.
Kayson battled with the pain of taking his own fathers life and the reality that he was trying to also take his. He had almost decided to give him mercy until he felt the gun tap his temple. He quickly pulled his head to the side and let one off in Tyquan's mouth. Blood and teeth splashed back in Kayson's face but he didn't as much as blink. Kayson grabbed his father in the throat and let off two more as he took his body to the ground.
Tyquan shook as the silver heat coursed through his organs and his air shortened.
Kayson stood up tall over his father glaring down at him. He then glanced around at all the death that scattered the room and pride swelled up in his chest. He had finally put their enemies to rest. Today everything would start over; he needed to put his wife and family back together piece by tattered piece.
Kayson turned and looked into the eyes of his men and then pa.s.sed out orders. "We start this s.h.i.t over today." He paused staring into their eyes. "My wife is no longer in charge she will be my personal advisor but that is it. Y'all bring everything to me and me only. And your disobedience comes with a penalty of death." He paused again.
Each man stood firm and nodded confirming their allegiance. The silence was thick in the room as Kayson held their gaze. He then moved towards KoKo.
"Your done baby. I can't live with you on this end of our business. Am I clear?"
"Yes, and you owe," KoKo said unable to hold eye contact with Kayson.
"I'ma spend the rest of my life paying you back." He pulled her into his arms and KoKo rested against his chest.
Kayson turned and looked at Baseem who was now kneeling next to Goldie trying to lift her into his arms.
Baseem rose up to his feet and held Goldie close to him. Tears ran from his eyes and onto her face. He whispered in her ear as he caressed her golden blood soaked locks. His heart sank to the bottom of his dark black soul with every word he uttered.
