My Mother-in-law Brought My Husband's Child Bride Chapter 3: I Need To Talk To Xiaobao

Although I was mad, I still pulled myself together to cook for my mother-in-law and Lanhua. After all, it was the first time that my mother-in-law travelled so far away from home and visited her son.

She agreed but then said, “I am tired but excited. Xiaojing, you and Lanhua sleep in one room. Xiaobao and I sleep in the other. I need to talk to him.”

I was shocked by what she said.

My husband was shocked too and hold my arm, “Mom, we can talk tomorrow. You and Lanhua sleep in that room and we are going to sleep in our bedroom.”

My husband followed and closed the door, whispered, “Don’t be mad. I will sleep in my mother’s room. You should understand that we haven’t seen each other for one year. She seems to have really important things to say to me. From tomorrow on, I will do whatever you say!”

I was so angry and threatened my husband with tears in my eyes, “If you and your mother sleep in a room, you will never sleep with me!”

He looked at the doorway and begged, “Please. She is my mother. We used to sleep in one room and chat lying in bed when I was little. Jing, please stop torturing me. It is just first day. I don’t want to fight with her. ”

He left and walked into her mother’s room after a while. I lied on the bed, having tears in my eyes while biting the duvet. Lanhua walked in on tiptoe, closed the door, and lied down on the other side of the bed.

After a long moment, Lanhua rolled over and touched me, “Jing, are you mad with mom? She has a tough life and spends her entire life on Xiaobao. She always talks that Xiaobao like being around with her, Xiaobao’s favorite food, his favorite drink, and his childhood. Now they want to spend more time together. You should understand.”

I wiped my tears and made myself sound normal, “Lanhua, you miss him too, don’t you?”
