Shikamaru yelled " Everyone be careful!! First take care of these remaining ones and then stay still until we figure out what to do."

Quickly the rest of Zetsu were killed off.

Shikamaru pondered ' This is a problem. We don't know who's who. Even if someone could identify their friends we can't be sure if he is lying. Arrgh such a drag.'

As he was pondering on what to do, a sensor from his group reported

" Sir, another group is approaching us from the west side. What should we do? "

Shikamaru " Another group? d.a.m.n! All of you keep a safe distance and prepare to engage."

All of them got ready but they couldn't shake off that restlessness inside them. How can they stay calm when they have to watch their back even from their allies.

Shikamaru's expression worsened ' This is bad. What should i do? There is no info regarding this. '

Soon Zetsu army reached them. The battle raged, as time pa.s.sed casualties appeared among the shin.o.bis.

Shikamaru finally sighed ' Such a drag. Now I have to move.'

He did a hand sign.

" Shadow style : Imprison! "

Shikamaru's shadow suddenly expanded and disappeared. Along with its disappearance the battlefield stilled. None could move, everyone stood still.

Some were about to be killed, some about to attack, some had kunais on their necks.

Shikamaru shouted " Now..... stay still until we get further info."

What Shikamaru did was the improvised version of his Shadow paralysis Jutsu. He did the same during Gaara and Onoki's battle with Lord Mu.

Ryu " Shikamaru, your clans ability to manipulate shadows is something that's very very strong but you and others use it for some petty tricks."

Shikamaru listened intently, Ryu continued " Shikamaru..... everything possess a shadow. Be it living or not and you can manipulate shadows. Do you understand the implications of what I just said."

Shikamaru " But we have limitations, like chakra capacity and chakra Control."

Ryu " Yup. If you started from when you were kids, sure these limitations can be removed to some extent but....

Shikamaru " Not now."

Ryu " Yeah. But it's alright as long as your Bloodline is purified."

With his shadow style Shikamaru controlled the entire battlefield. It took a drain on his chakra but with his perfect chakra control its managable.

Shikamaru ' Why do I have to lead a team. Such a drag.'

Eventhough he complained Shikamaru was wrecking his brain to come up with a plan to solve his current predicament. If he undid his Jutsu, casualties would pile up without even identifying their enemy and that's not something he want.

Inoichi had already sent info about Zetsu situation. It seems not just his side but every battle field was experiencing the same situation.

Shikamaru ' The battle hasn't even gone to for two days and yet an unsolvable situation has arised. What should i do? Can't keep up my Jutsu for long.'

Time ticked away, Shikamaru was getting tired, It's already been two hours since he used his Jutsu.

Shikamaru ' h.e.l.l! Should I just for it. Casualties may pile up but it's better than just sitting here.'

Just as he was pondering on what to do a teasing voice pa.s.sed onto his ear.

" Well well well, If it isn't the smarta.s.s. Looks like you are in a pinch."

Shikamaru turned around to see Naruto stand before him. He was shocked to see Naruto's form, he was orange all over with strange marking spreading through his body.

Shikamaru spoke in irritation " What do you want Naruto? And what's with that form? "

Naruto " Hihi, oh you mean this form. It's my Kurama Mode. I am like this when using Kurama's chakra."

Shikamaru ' Nine Tails chakra!? I see..... he managed to master it.'

Naruto grinned " Anyway, I heard the situation from Inoichi san, don't worry I am here just for that."

Shikamaru " Huh? "

Naruto " What? Did that brain of yours stop working. I am saying I can identify our allies."

Shikamaru was surprised when he heard that, he asked back " Because of Nine Tails? "

Naruto " Woah! As expected of a Nara. Yeah, I can distinguish emotions and those Zetsu are like a bright dot in darkness."

Shikamaru " Then what are you waiting for, Show me."

Naruto pointed towards a few of them. Shikamaru made a hand sign.

Shadow squirmed from the ground forming Kunais, they stabbed through the ones Naruto pointed out. This was another use of shadow style after he awakened it, Materialisation.

Before he was only able to Manipulate objects with his shadow but never able to directly injure anyone with it but after awakening he went further and created this Jutsu.

Naruto and Shikamaru cleaned up the battlefield. After removing every single among them Shikamaru undid his Jutsu.

Naruto " I will be leaving for other fronts, my original is currently tracking down that Obito guy."

Shikamaru " And who is with you?"

Naruto " Jiraiya sensei."

Shikamaru nodded. As long as someone is their as Naruto's protector then it's fine.

Shikamaru " Wait, how many clones did you make? "

Naruto smirked " Don't know. A few hundred or is it thousand."

Shikamaru got annoyed " Yeah yeah. Do what you want."

Naruto " Then see ya."

His figure flashed and disappeared. Shikamaru got back to his team ' According to what Inoichi san just pa.s.sed on, Reanimated shin.o.bi has appeared at every front.'

Shikamaru " Everyone rest up for few minutes then we will move! From what I just heard, we are winning at all fronts, keep it up! "

YEAH!!!!

Loud cheering echoed throughout the field.

Kakashi's group.

Kakashi looked at the group Infront of him " Well well, looks like we hit jackpot."

Zabuza who was near him scowled " The seven Mist ninja stands before you and you are in the mood to joke !! "

Kakashi waved his hands " Calm down. We will win."

Zabuza growled, Haku was trying his best to mediate between the two of them. The rest of the ninja stepped back, this is not a fight they want to partic.i.p.ate.

Yes. The previous seven Mist ninja swordsman stood before them.

One of them spoke " Oi you! You have Kubikiribocho and yet you are standing with a leaf Shin.o.bi. What gives? And that Girl.... boy.... whatever, I can feel Yuki clan kekkei genkai from you. Why are you with them? "

Zabuza replied coldly " I am a leaf Shin.o.bi."

Haku " Me as well."

" So you abandoned mist village! You should understand how we deal with traitors, right? "

Kakashi walked a step further, he stood Infront of them. Unlike before he didn't have his forehead protector covering his left eye.

Before Ryu left the village four years ago, he used a special seal, this seal is like a key to his Sharingan.

Kakashi is someone who became a Jounin at the age of 12. But after that his progress slowed down, this can be attributed to his Sharingan. He isn't an Uchiha thus his eye is always activated and this requires a lot of chakra. Because of this reason his chakra capacity didn't increase further, any chakra he gathered was directed to his left eye.

But the seal Ryu placed cut off the chakra supply to his eye. When he did that Kakashi's Sharingan reverted back. Now both his eyes looked normal, he could activate his Sharingan whenever he wanted.

As a once in a millennium genius these four years gave Kakashi a huge boost. He took up his family's sword art again and mastered it.

Kakashi stood before the Mist seven " Traitors? I really want to explain why they defected to our village but then again...

His left eye changed its colour becoming red, it had three magatamas inside showing a hint of evilness to it. A smile outlined his face cover as he said

" I could just remove you and be done with it. Don't you think that's more easy."
