"I would've barely called it a relationship. We were meeting and making out."

"That's still better than what I've been doing the past couple months."

"Oh please. You're telling me that you and Darrell haven't had any "fun times." Come on Em, tell me the dirty details."

I think for a minute. Should I tell her about me being in a coma. She would freak. we share a face and a traumatic experience. We want to protect each other. If she found out that I could've died and she didn't know she would be devastated. But if she didn't find out from me she would be even more devastated. I decide what I'm going to do.

"No I haven't. I haven't really been seeing anyone in the past couple months."

"What do you mean? Em… what happened?"

"I was in a coma. The particle accelerator exploded and I was already knocked out because of Darrell."

"Why did Darrell knock you out?" She said her voice raising. She was calm but her eyes looked murderous.

"He was drunk and thought I was cheating."

She sighs.

"I know."

I stare in disbelief.

" What do you mean you know?"

"Em i'm a detective, I haven't heard from my sister in two weeks and there was an explosion while I was in my hotel after I helped you move in. I did some digging and found an article about two people who were in comas. I couldn't bring myself to see you in that state. So I just left central city and paid you hospital bills from starling city."

"Then why did you act like nothing was wrong?"

"I thought I'd see how things played out. I wanted to see if you'd continue lying to me."

"You're sneaky."

"d.a.m.n straight."

We laugh for a bit and then she gets serious.

"But Emma… You're ok, right?"

I chuckle and look down at my coffee.

"I mean… are we ever really ok? I guess i'm as ok as we'll ever be."

We sad smile at each other for a while and then she looks at me like she wants to figure something out.

"Has anything weird happen to you since you woke up? This is going to be hard to believe but people have developed powers from the explosion and that's part of the reason I'm in central city."

I don't know what to say. I want to tell her about my powers, but I already put the burden of my kidnapping on her.

"Really?Thats crazy!"

She looks at me suspiciously

"Emmanuela Carolina Duncan. Are you lying to me?"

Dammit, she used my full name.

"Fine. I met the flash when I was kidnapped. I got shot and he helped me out."

Emily looks at me curiously.

"So you didn't see his face?"

"I didn't. Why?"

Emily sighs and then smiles.

"Nothing important. Thank you for telling me."

She puts her hand on top of mine and smiles before looking around.

"Wow, we must have been here for hours."

I look around and everyone had left. Except Eddie's girlfriend who is cleaning the counter watching us.

"It closing time. Sorry."

She says it with a forced smile. Emily smiles back and looks back at me.

"I'm gonna go. I need to talk to Oliver."

"Alright. Bye."

She gathers her things and leaves me to pay the bill. I look at iris.

"You realize that Eddie really likes you right?"

She looks up in surprise.

"Yes I do."

"So there is no reason to be threatened by me. I'm not going to ruin your relationship. I'm not the annoying protective sister."

"I...I know that."

"Well then I guess my job is done. Have a good night."
