For starters, his fencing ability had gone up directly to the rank (A) and thanks to that the fifth movement, (killing oneself), was unblocked and its seal disappeared. Of course, Aldarion did not stab himself. The fifth movement is an attack that he will not carry out unless he has no other choice, because it is an attack that will hurt him and wear him down a lot.
Aldarion tried to unlock the following moves, but it seemed that he needed to increase his level of compression much more. The problem was that even though he had been reading books in the library, he did not get more compression points.
'I'll have to wait for a stroke of luck in the future or something like that...' - Aldarion resigned himself.
More things happened during these days.
His relationship with Erumäre had had a very appreciable change, as she became more proactive with him. When the two of them sat down for dinner she approached him almost touching; Also, when they said goodbye at the end of dinner she always hugged him for a few seconds, always burying his face in Aldarion's chest as if she wanted to remember his scent; In addition, she had become very expressive when the two were together, it almost seemed that she gave off life.
However, all this ends today. Today Erumäre went to the Gray Ports to embark and start a journey that will give her a new life full of happiness.
At this time Aldarion was heading to the exit of the residence where the party was that would accompany her to the Gray Ports. Surely some of these elves that accompany her also embark, but that Aldarion did not know.
He was more focused on the elf who was now saying goodbye to King Cirdan. She was none other than Erumäre and Aldarion was blocked from seeing her. This was going to be the last time he saw her.
Aldarion approached her and Cirdan. The young man noticed that the two elves had sad looks. It was normal, because the two had lived together for centuries and for the first time they were going to separate. Also, for Cirdan, Erumäre could be like a daughter to him and in turn she thought of Cirdan as a father figure.
Even sad, Erumäre only broke down to mourn when she saw Aldarion approach her to say goodbye, but quickly she wiped her tears and tried to look as calm as possible. She did not want to make the farewell more difficult for both of them.
Aldarion saw her trying to look like she had not cried and this made his heart melt. He hurried forward and grabbing her cheek lifted her face to look into her eyes, while wiping away one of the tears that fell down her face.
Erumäre also looked him in the eyes and saw that there were also repressed tears in them. In that instant, she gave him a firm hug as she buried her face in his chest, just as she liked to do.
Aldarion could not help but smile half-heartedly at her action while he gladly accepted her hug.
"Our last moment together and you're going to behave like a weeping girl." - He said in a mocking tone. - "Not to mention that there are many people around who can see you, including the King." - He continued.
"I do not care." - She answered without separating the face of his chest.
"Come on, you're going to fill my snotty clothes." - Aldarion joked to try to get her separated from him.
A few seconds pa.s.sed, but the grip of it did not loose anything and Aldarion, seeing that it did not work, snorted with resignation. - "Erumäre ... I do not want the last image about you that remains in my memory is that of the most beautiful woman crying." - He said in a low voice so that no one would listen. - "If you really appreciate me, I hope you allow me to remember your smile."
"It's okay, but promise me you'll never forget me." - She said in a low tone as well.
"I promise." - He replied in a very serious tone that indicated he was not lying. - "Promise me that you will not forget me either." - He continued.
As soon as she heard those words Erumäre stopped hugging him, she separated from him without letting him see her face, she wiped her face a bit with the sleeves of her dress and when she thought she was ready she showed him her face.
What Aldarion saw was the face of the woman he fell in love with. The most beautiful elf in the world and also she had the most sincere and beautiful smile that Aldarion had ever seen.
"I promise." - She told him.
Those words entered his mind and as if it were a bomb, they erased all his thoughts and went blank.
"It's getting late." - Seeing that the farewell was getting longer and they could regret it if it lasted longer, Cirdan urged them to finish.
Erumäre quickly broke the stunned state in which Aldarion was kissing him on the cheek and without giving him time to do something or say something to her, Erumäre turned around and joined the party.
Aldarion simply stood in the same place while he caressed the cheek that she had kissed him as if he did not believe what had just happened. Aldarion decided not to do anything else, he would simply stay there watching as she left.
When Erumäre arrived next to the party two servants helped her to get on the horse that would take her all the way.
'The horse is worthy to carry her.' - That is what Aldarion thought when he saw it. The horse was tall, of a very pure white color and with long mane that made it look even more beautiful. In addition, he had the appearance of being strong, agile and fast. If a mishap occurs along the way, the horse could lead her away from danger without problems.
The pary was launched without further delay and Aldarion saw how the woman he loved disappeared on the horizon to never see her again.
