If We Got Married 16 Cherry Blossom Festival: Part 1

She decides to call the Chairman since she had the most missed calls from him.

"Ha Eun!" he said but he didn't sound excited, he was more worried than anything.

"What happened?" she asked. He doesn't answer for a few seconds. He didn't want her to worry but he felt like she should know, since it concerned her.

"You're all over the news" he said. Ha Eun didn't know how that was important. She is always on television, so this didn't faze her but what the Chairman said next, did make her lose her composure "They are saying that your marriage with Mr. Kim is fake"

How did the media find out about this so quickly?

"Seo Ah supposedly had an interview with one of the most popular news networks and its gone viral" The Chairman was worried for his Ha Eun. The board will surely want another meeting and who knows what they might do? A long time ago he chose those people as his board members but now they are just a pain in his a.s.s and trying to ruin his Ha Eun's life.

Ha Eun scoffed, she knew Seo Ah was up to something when she started the whole argument that day, she must have planned this right after she got fired. If only she was a quick a thinker in job related issues as she is in making rumors.

"First of all, we have to get rid of all the articles online" Ha Eun said over the phone but the Chairman already did that.

"The damage has already been done" he told her "Now all there's left to do is face it head on"

After they talked Ha Eun went on her social media page, people were leaving nasty comments and laughing at her. She was also losing followers. Its not that she cared about the followers, but she did care about appearances. She needed to make people believe that her relationship with Chang Wook was real.

She hurried back to the room and laid down pillows all around Chang Wook and laid down next to him. In the camera it looked like they were in bed, not on the floor so that was good, now all that needed to be done was make them look like they were a sleeping couple in love. Chang Wook felt a slight tickle on his face and smelled apples. He felt something warm with a heartbeat cuddled up next to him. He slowly opened his eyes and saw how his arm was over Ha Eun's waist and how she was taking selfies of both of them.

"What the h.e.l.l?!" he yelled. Ha Eun was startled by his sudden scream and got up.

"Shut up. You'll wake up the whole island!" she yelled in a whisper.

"What were you doing?!" he crossed his arms over his chest "Are you secretly a pervert?" he asked her. Ha Eun felt insulted.

"Hey. I was just trying to save our a.s.ses" she said. He didn't understand her train of thought.

"How is taking pictures of me while I'm sleeping considered saving me?" he asked her "Also, I'm pretty sure that's considered invasion of privacy"

"You lost all rights to privacy when you decided to sleep here" she told him then left the room. She posted the picture of both of them with the caption "He's so cute" in a matter of seconds it had hundreds of comments and was getting reposted at an unimaginable speed.

People commented how they must have been rumors and how the couple looked so loving. Someone even commented that their picture made them believe in true love again. The news never specified his name or look into his true ident.i.ty, he was just someone she worked with so people were questioning who he was and by the angle of the picture, you could only see half of Chang Wook's face so he wouldn't be so easy to find. Although she was looking after herself, she also looked after him. She's used to being in the spotlight, but Chang Wook is just a regular guy, that somehow happens to have a lot of money.

"How come I've never heard of his family?" she asked herself. Owning more houses just like the one they are at now and all the small businesses that where around town. Every second she was here she was becoming more and more curious about Chang Wook and his family but those questions she would have to leave for another time because down the stairs came Do Mi.

"My daughter-in-law is awake!" she said excitedly. She could hardly sleep last night because of the surprise she got about her son getting married "I was thinking all night about all the places we could take you, so I decided on going to the Cherry Blossom Festival!"

"Ha Eun…we have not finished talking about that photo" Chang Wook came downstairs seeing his mother and Ha Eun talking he decided to leave the photo incident for another time "What's going on here?"

"Oh good, you're awake. We're going out!" Do Mi told her son. He was not in the mood to go out, after sleeping on the floor he wanted to nap a little on the cozy bed. Ha Eun seeing this started to act like she wanted to go and begged Chang Wook to go with her.

"If you don't come, I'll feel so lonely" Ha Eun said. Do Mi thought it was cute how open Ha Eun and her son were with expressing their love. Chang Wook couldn't get used to his boss trying to act cute in front of him, when other people where around, he felt awkward and didn't want to see her act like that again.

"Pretty please with a cherry on top" Ha Eun kept acting cute so Chang Wook agreed just to make her stop.
