Chapter 1271: Almost Died on the Ship

Shi Qian did not wake up after the IV drip was emptied.
Arthur called Andy over again and examined Shi Qian.
“Boss, Miss Shi Qian is only unconscious. There’s nothing wrong with her body.”
“When will she wake up?”
“I can’t be sure about that. It could be an hour. It could be three or four hours. Boss, you haven’t had dinner yet. Why don’t you get something to eat? I’ll guard here.”
“Send some food to my room. Also, instruct the kitchen to prepare some Chinese food. Make it light and keep it warm at all times.”
“Yes.” Andy backed out.
As he closed the door, he couldn’t help but mutter, “Is Boss in love with this hostage?”
Shi Qian slept for another two hours before slowly opening her eyes.
The room was a little dim, with only a small night light on.
She glanced over to the side of the bed and saw Arthur sprawled on the floor beside hers. He appeared to be asleep.
She slowly propped herself up and wanted to sit up, but when she raised her head, she felt dizzy!
Arthur immediately woke up. When he saw that Shi Qian was awake, a trace of joy flashed across his eyes. “You’re awake? How do you feel now? Do you feel better?”
“I’m so dizzy,” Shi Qian replied weakly.
“That’s because you haven’t eaten in too long. I’ll get someone to bring something here.”
“Okay.” Shi Qian nodded.
She did not want to be stubborn anymore. She had to recover her strength as soon as possible. In her current state, she would faint even if she took two steps, let alone think of a way to escape.
Arthur had some food delivered.
Shi Qian was about to get out of bed when Arthur immediately pressed her down. “Just stay here. Don’t move around.”
Arthur personally brought the food to Shi Qian.
Shi Qian picked up the bowl of porridge and took a sip.
There was a bitter taste in her mouth, and she tasted nothing.
After a few mouthfuls of porridge, she lost her appet.i.te.
However, she still forced herself to eat some more.
“Don’t force yourself. Eat some first to fill your stomach. If you want to eat again later, I’ll get someone to prepare more.”
“Thank you.” Shi Qian thanked him politely.
After saying that, she regretted being so polite to the person who kidnapped her!
Arthur put the things aside, and Shi Qian’s little face scrunched up as if she was in a lot of pain.

Arthur immediately handed the trash can to Shi Qian. Shi Qian hugged the trash can and vomited, purging everything she had just eaten.
Arthur looked at her worriedly.
After Shi Qian finished vomiting, he handed her a gla.s.s of warm water.
“I can’t take it anymore! I might be seasick.” Shi Qian shook her head helplessly. This feeling was too uncomfortable.
Arthur frowned.
“How many hours did you say we had left?”
“Nearly 20 hours to go.”
“Is there anywhere to stop for a while? I doubt I can last the 20-hour journey at all.” Shi Qian didn’t know if Arthur would agree, so she said to him, “If I die on the ship, what will you use to exchange for your mother?”
“Alright, I’ll find a place to stop along the way and let you rest.” Arthur turned around and walked out.
Shi Qian fell weakly onto the bed.

The place Arthur chose was a small island. It was inhabited and had basic living facilities. A few days of rest was enough.
