Alex nodded, his information this time was quite valuable. Alex then decided to search for some of the other information he had been looking for.
He took out a picture of the stick made of stone that he had obtained after killing the Stone Mother Golem and used the image search function.
After a search for a few minutes, he found a similar match. It was also an image of a similar stick made of stone. Alex paid 300 points to find the information about what the item in his hands was. When he saw the information he was both amused and disappointed.
The stick was actually an edible item, but it was only useful for individuals who hadn't condensed a seed yet. Eating this stone stick would allow the body to gain a stone attribute and after eating this, a person could then go on and build a body of the stone attribute. This was useless for Alex, but he found a tidbit of information that surprised him.
This information was actually put out by the Warrior Academy, who was looking to purchase this item should it be found.
"Warrior Academy? It seems like the two of us still have some connection." Alex laughed. But he didn't understand why the Warrior University wanted the object.
Alex then searched for something else that had been bothering his mind. Blood Rebirth. When he searched it, there were a few articles of information, but they were expensive and he wouldn't have been able to purchase them earlier when his clearance was lower.
After paying three thousand points, Alex discovered what the Blood Rebirth was. It was a high level Blood attribute card ability that could be used to reforge the body completely and make it much more stronger. However, the price of the card is usually a sacrifice of blood of others.
Alex sighed, some details were still not clear. He wasn't sure how killing that blood drop had helped him have a Blood Rebirth and who were the sacrifices for his survival? Alex felt like gagging for a moment, but he calmed himself down.
He also learned that this was a skill used by Lord level individuals within Blood attribute based cults like the scarlet tide, which made Alex feel disgusted.
Alex searched for "Ent.i.ty" within the Knowledge Tower and didn't find any relevant information. He guessed that the information probably needed a higher level to access, so he gave up on finding out more about this.
Alex then took the markings by the skeleton on the tree's bark he had noted down and looked to see if it could be translated and to his surprise it actually could.
The language actually belonged to an alien race in this universe that also accessed the Card Dimension. The alien species was called the Berserker species and they were humanoid aliens, but not humans.
The translation of the words on the tree trunk had been completed and Alex read it with much surprise.
"I might die here, but the legacy of my family cannot die out in vain. Subdue my sword and my Bubble Control Art will be yours!"
Alex immediately tried to search for bubble control art, but didn't find anything on the knowledge tower's database. The berserker was actually in the First Card dimension, so he could only have been a Card Apprentice at best. However, the power of those bubbles were definitely real and the skeleton had given him similar feelings of dread as the Lion made from earth had.
Instead, Alex decided to modify his search and find out how a berserker's sword was subdued. For this, Alex found information in the tower and sighed.
"So it was like this. Disperse the energy within the sword? Berserkers would dispel the energy by tolerating the terrifying a.s.sault of the energy and absorbing it using their strong physiques. I will have to think of another way." Alex nodded.
He had some clues now, though other thoughts progressed in his mind. Could there be a berserker shelter relatively closer to the Highland Shelter?
Finally, Alex looked for information about dark attribute items and where he could find them in vicinity of the Highland Shelter. But the information disappointed him. Dark Attribute special items were exceedingly rare in the Highland Shelter's known environments and any trade on earth took place clandestinely through under ground auctions. The Black Market was an organization that traded Dark Attribute special items. The Black Market was known to have complete control over a shelter of earth and that shelter was the main source of dark attribute special items.
Alex shook his head. He could only depend on luck to find dark attribute special items to consume. Even the adventure house in Highland Shelter didn't have any. In fact, the adventure house in Highland Shelter seemed to be a relatively weak branch.
Alex was done with collecting information from the Knowledge Tower, he just used it to send information to the Warrior University that he was willing to trade the item they needed.
As Alex was leaving the Knowledge Tower, he immediately received a call.
"Am I speaking to Mr. Alex? I am speaking on behalf of Warrior University."
Alex sighed. Very quick. "Yes, this is Alex."
"I would like to invite you to the Warrior University on behalf of the dean. We wish to trade the item you sent feelers for." The voice said.
Alex shrugged. "I am at the Knowledge Tower, not too far from Warrior University. I'll be there."
The Knowledge Tower was in University City about a few hours by maglev from Alex's own home town Pond City. University City was the city where all the great universities of the country had their campuses and where they trained the geniuses. It was a hub of card users.
So it wasn't too awkward for Alex to go to the Warrior University, for he was already in the same city. He used his maps and took a bus to the gates of Warrior City, where surprisingly a man was pacing frantically, clearly waiting for his arrival.
"They seem to be really desperate for this object. Could its real use be something else?" Alex wondered as he got down from the bus.
